- pylemountain2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3If they do take the case - I can only pray they get it right. There's no way the High Court will say the 2nd Amendment is the only Amendment in the Bill of Rights that does not apply to individuals. That's just nuts!

- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2What I am saying is that if they can ignore the Constitution to rule the way they did in these two examples then they will not hesitate to rule against the Constitution in this case either.
- acidkore, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1The second amendment does not confer any rights at all. Reread the wording carefully. It states that we already have an a priori right to bear arms, and that the government cannot make laws taking them away.
- Hortnon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Well, neither of these cases had the same people voting each way. I agree the Kelo decision is very questionable, but I don't think it's an active attempt to remove rights. Both of these cases are 5-4, and the McCain/Feingold had a decision that made parts illegal and others legal.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Remember these perps in black robes are declaring International law to be their guide in many of their speeches. Don't look to them to protect us from tyranny. That's what the 2nd Amendment is for, whether the gun grabbers like it or not. And it's something we may have to resort to.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3If SCOTUS takes this up you can kiss your 2nd Amendment Right goodbye. Just look at their recent past:
Remember the Kelo decision?
Or how about McCain/Feingold?
Once they get rid of the 2nd just see what happens when they start going around trying to collect the guns they already know people have because of registrations and waiting period databases. It may take a few years but there will be a day when they, those in government, will be after our weapons, in force.
The SCOTUS are among those out to destroy this country. Cross your fingers they pass this appeal up.
