- thisniss, on 10/16/2008, -1/+21Don't forget - "voter fraud fraud" was the basis of the US Attorney firing scandal. All that "ACORN business" in New Mexico mayb not be ringing any bells for the viewers of Fox News, but I bet it does for David Iglesias.
- theutopian, on 10/16/2008, -1/+13Good editorial on why ACORN doesn't really matter.
The Republicans are grasping as straws, grasping at straws. - barbiesnow, on 10/16/2008, -0/+11All of the economic woes have placed the US Attorney firing scandal on the back burner,,I wish Obama would bring it up again and show it for what it is...another distraction from the real travesty..
- JenniferInMO, on 10/20/2008, -0/+10It has taken 4 years to investigate this pseudo voter-fraud stuff, the GOP strategy in the 2006 election was so similar that those allegations were also added to the special prosecutor's task list. Now we are seeing the same people, the same strategy and the same tactics by the GOP as used in the past 2 elections. This will probably come down to criminal charges somewhere down the line, but certainly not within 2 weeks.
So it is imperative that we vote early, that we work to get others to the polls, that we inform ourselves about local election rules and spread the word about each and every instance of Election fraud to get in front of the public.
No sleep until November 5th. - kp998, on 10/17/2008, -0/+10Just more Republican dirty tricks, don't plan on it stopping.
- kebinusan, on 10/17/2008, -0/+9Would be nice to see some election reform to limit these sort of underhanded tricks tho
- inactive, on 10/20/2008, -0/+6There has been evidence of election tampering in both of the last two presidential elections. I would be surprised if the Republicans didn't trying to ride that same wave this time.

“We will not stand for the stealing of the election—the tainting of our democracy—by those who wish to subvert the rule of law.” --Robert M. (Mike) Duncan, Chairman of the Republican National Committee.
(There the Neo-con/GOP/Republicans go again, accusing others of doing what the Republicans do.)
"Sounds suspicious—unless you know that groups like ACORN are required by law to submit them, even if they’re obvious fakes. This is to prevent funny business, such as trashing forms that look like they might be Republican (or Democratic, as the case may be).
"Sounds suspicious—unless you know that ACORN normally sorts through forms, flags those that look fishy, and submits the fishy ones in a separate pile for the convenience of election officials."
Enough said.
