- gottadiggit, on 12/22/2007, -3/+67Are pigs flying? Because I didn't see much media spin in that report.
- rpi22, on 12/22/2007, -6/+67Hey guys, let's make sure they know that we saw this. Speaking from my management experience, i know that positive feedback goes a lot further than complaints.
http://tinyurl.com/r8ul - AustinMandi, on 12/22/2007, -4/+59I never get tired of hearing this man talk.
- sestalker, on 12/22/2007, -7/+54That little girl who said "Ron Paul" in the video will be our Nations first Female President.
- Frostman3D, on 12/22/2007, -3/+49Ron Paul's message is about to snowball and the middle class is about to stand up for Ron Paul and shake the foundations of this country.
- umber2007, on 12/22/2007, -4/+50I saw Ron Paul on Glen Beck. I like him!
- mediaspree, on 12/22/2007, -6/+48I just shook my Magic 8 ball and it returned "All Signs Point To Ron Paul". Holy...
- zomfg, on 12/22/2007, -2/+26i happened to flip on cspan, and saw him UNINTERRUPTED for about 20 minutes at the politics and eggs breakfast (or something) and wow! simply amazing. the man is truth. I love him!
got my vote and full support (both financially and spreading the word) - maxfirepower, on 12/22/2007, -3/+22If they're admitting 3rd, he's probably first. Gotta really hammer it now before (and after) the caucus.
- apollyon, on 12/22/2007, -2/+18OK, front paged at 2:51am EST 12-22-07.
Lets see how many minutes until someone from digg unfairly buries this story. - inactive, on 12/22/2007, -3/+17Ron Paul is a modern day Thomas Jefferson.
The main is seriously a saint. Check his voting record and statements from 10 years ago. NOTHING has changed. No personal scandals, no inconsistencies, nothing! He's almost too good to be true. - betterth, on 12/22/2007, -1/+15He never had a "blackout". There has been the rare video here and there. Notice how no other candidate's videos get posted and dugg up. It's because the networks spend the vast majority of their time on them. Ron Paul mentions are still unfortunately rare.
- aguynamedjoe36, on 12/22/2007, -2/+15yeah some friends of mine and I were just flipping through the channels talking about who knows what, and suddenly we saw him on cspan 2, we all got quiet and just watched for half an hour. there is something about him that just commands respect. i might add that we are all 19 year old first time voters... watching cspan 2 on a friday night (and we are not socially inept).
- maxfirepower, on 12/22/2007, -2/+15Yeah, my wife pointed it out to me. He's always the same whether at the podium or talking to you face to face. He never has to cover up what he said before because he is never acting. Really rare for anybody, let alone a politician.
- banmaster, on 12/22/2007, -1/+13While there isn't a true blackout regarding Ron Paul, there is certainly a media-sponsored misinformation and smear campaign that is very active.
Always referring to him as a 'long shot', making fun of his supporters, claiming he's a white supremacist, ALWAYS mentioning his apparent low poll numbers etc, these things are all calculated and managed so that as few people as possible will take him seriously.
Sure, a good story about him on a major network is great, however a single story will NOT make up for the dreadful way him and his campaign have been treated so far. - inactive, on 12/22/2007, -1/+13It is amazing isn't it? I may not agree with everything, but he is the only one honest and not pandering.
- faxxy, on 12/22/2007, -2/+13You can't vote for Ron Paul unless you are registered NOW. Look up Party Change Deadlines in your state:
http://primarilypaul.com/register
Vote for Ron Paul in your state's Primaries.
Don't just sit there....do something to get Ron Paul elected or kiss your liberty and your wealth goodbye.
VOTE FOR RON PAUL 2008!
http://KickApathy.com - gtlogic, on 12/22/2007, -2/+12Once he starts picking up popularity, those who currently won't vote on him because he's a 'long shot' will start to change their tune. It's all about the tipping point, and it's going to come! Ron Paul 2008!
- inactive, on 12/22/2007, -1/+11It isn't digg doing it. there is a rabid base of users who want to badmouth RP and bury his articles: check out this person: http://digg.com/users/amiches/history/comments makes you wonder who they work for. Because it really is hard to believe an individual has nothing better to do then bury or post negative comments only on RP.
- cr4wl3r, on 12/22/2007, -4/+14that's because we would never willingly pick hillary.
- zomfg, on 12/22/2007, -1/+106+ million dollars in one day tends to stop the spin...
- mattes5, on 12/22/2007, -1/+9Did anyone else notice he touched that woman on the head then shook his hand?
- banmaster, on 12/22/2007, -1/+9Yep, the airborne bacon is on the wing!
- inactive, on 12/22/2007, -1/+8If this guy doesn't win who knows what kind of "mass political participation" we'll experiance.
- BagginsBoy, on 12/22/2007, -1/+8That was very poetic.
- quazywabbit, on 12/22/2007, -0/+7I love Ron Paul as the next person but come on there has to be someone else out there who is supporting another candidate right? But then again I know a lot of people that are not going to vote in the primaries and don't care yet while myself and other Ron Paul supports are voting in the primaries for him in order for him to have a good chance and to fight the evangelizing Christians that have tried to take over the party.
- Gnasche, on 12/22/2007, -0/+6Yeah, that was funny because it was the snow on her head that he shook off (and he's about to shake hands with many people), but it looked like Lord Flashheart's reaction when he rubbed Baldrick's head in Blackadder.
- Velnich, on 12/22/2007, -1/+7"Once he starts picking up popularity"? The internet in general (digg especially) would lead me to believe he's been the popular pick for a while now.
- inactive, on 12/22/2007, -2/+8If you have followed his campaign, it took money bombs and avid supporters to give him the attention he deserved from the start. The media (and the debates) spent more time on the big named candidates. The media should show us all sides with equal time (wasn't that a FCC rule once?) and the media should not be the ones to decide for us. The first money bomb helped alot, the 2nd really helped, now we are just starting to see him get the attention he should have had in the beginning.
- NnyCW, on 12/22/2007, -0/+6Free trips to Cuba for some. Free injections of electrical current for everyone.
All while the rest of the country keeps twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom! - tones1, on 12/22/2007, -4/+10That's my Ronny!
- kazamx, on 12/22/2007, -0/+5But we also need the old none internet people to join in. we have some, but as they are the ones who traditionally vote more than they young, they are vital.
- xenon221, on 12/22/2007, -1/+6Thanks for the Ron Paul story. Nice package. Keep up the good work!
- KennMac, on 12/22/2007, -2/+7Let me clear that up for you. You're either the media's best friend, or you're their worst enemy. We're in the midst of crossing enemy lines into "best friend" territory. Don't get too frazzled about it.
- kazamx, on 12/22/2007, -0/+5TBH I really really hope that they are being paid. Knowing that they are being paid gives me hope, because alot of people do jobs they don't like to put food on the table.
The idea that someone would give up so much of their free time to bury and comment on a candidate just depresses me. I understand people working hard to promote their ideas, but to work even harder just to bury someone is pretty sad. Why not focus all that energy into promoting a candidate they believe in? - jaymzdean, on 12/22/2007, -2/+6That would be your upper lip.
Wake up and realize that Americans are much more sophisticated than you all expected. - Ghoztt, on 12/22/2007, -2/+6I hate a Roman named Status Quo!
RON PAUL '08! - buckrogers1965, on 12/22/2007, -0/+4The same political operatives opposing Paul here also post fake "Support Ron Paul" posts into every article too. Trying to get people annoyed at seeing the name.
- kazamx, on 12/22/2007, -0/+4War is Peace.
- madisonskyline, on 12/22/2007, -2/+6You're my boy, Blue!!!!
- sestalker, on 12/22/2007, -1/+5Front page is nice - don't get me wrong. It's the thinkers and the concerned that are searching on their own. Search Ron Paul | Sort Newest First
- alphaterminus, on 12/22/2007, -0/+4More Freedom Fries, Freedom toast, and Freedom kisses.
- kazamx, on 12/22/2007, -0/+4Just make sure you register Republican in time. If not then you won't be voting in the primary.
- sestalker, on 12/22/2007, -0/+3for real. This new medium filters through the ***** pretty effectively - leaving the individual to make their own choices.
- sestalker, on 12/22/2007, -1/+4I was going to ask if he liked Beck Or Paul
- Velnich, on 12/22/2007, -2/+5Ron Paul might be an excellent candidate that would make an excellent president ushering in a golden era for the states ranging from home issues to a foreign policy in much need of improvement, but the articles and comments are starting to become a bit much. Are the same places that have been preached at non-stop for the last few months the best place to also pat yourselves on the back over new victories in better reaching other groups?
- sestalker, on 12/22/2007, -3/+6One thing is for certain: Our country men will begin to come home immediately and to a hero's welcome. This is not a matter of speculation. Once we have our citizen soldiers home defending our borders we can build a safer stronger America.
- Dokument, on 12/22/2007, -1/+4im hungry. what do i want? bacon. do i have bacon? no? why not? i ate it...
/reference to earlier fp article - nuhrd, on 12/22/2007, -2/+5You're tried? What was the verdict? Let me guess, you were found guilty of pointless whining.
