Video: Boehner Repeatedly Mispronounces 'Tuskegee' During Ceremony
thinkprogress.org — During a congressional ceremony for the famous all-black Tuskegee airmen, House Minority Leader Boehner six times mispronounced the group's name as the "Tusk-E-gee,'' eliciting audible groans from the front to the back of the Capitol Rotunda.

This isn't a huge deal, but it just goes to show Boehner's lack of understanding or knowledge about something that means so much to the audience he was addressing.
- gatekeeper50, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Perhaps he thought he was getting back at liberals ('cause of course all African-Americans are) for calling him John BONER. For one with a neck so red as Mitch McConnell to have given him a verbal slap back was even more of a slam.
