- nelsonjs, on 08/06/2008, -0/+10Here is the scary part: Yesterday, the Pentagon said that “even if he were acquitted,” Hamdan would “still be considered an enemy combatant and therefore would continue to be subject to continued detention.”
These people (the pentagon) have no integrity whatsoever. - inactive, on 08/06/2008, -0/+6Gee, that's a surprise. Did anyone seriously think that the Pentagon's judges would do anything but convict this schmuck?
- inactive, on 08/06/2008, -2/+5This is what you get for driving a car.
It's indicative of your extremely low character that you support convicting a driver, and yet you still cheer for Bush, who lied about WMDs to start a war. Who lied about outing covert agents. Who spied on US citizens and lied about it. Who is responsible for the death of thousands upon thousands of INNOCENT Iraqis who were no threat to us?
You are an unethical, immoral, and dispicable piece of *****, you know that?
No wonder you rightards are such cowardly failures.
Get rid of that nasty little paedophile mustache and enlist like a man, since you cheer for war so much.
Oh, right. That would mean NOT being a corruption defending coward. - 140Suffolk, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2There isn't any doubt that he committed the acts he was accused of, is there? He was bin Laden's bodyguard. He was caught with two live missiles hidden in an unmarked vehicle.
On that act alone, under Article 4 of the Geneva Convention he is specifically NOT entitled to any protection. We had the legal right to summarily execute him after a short hearing. So what's with the complaints? - Y0tsuya, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1A "lowly" driver is still a foot soldier. Is the tank driver a soldier? Or are you folks saying the tank driver is not a soldier because he cannot "strategize" as well as the tank commander? What about people driving Generals around on jeeps? Because they're drivers they're not soldiers?
- obliviousfool, on 08/06/2008, -1/+2Oooh ...their little kangaroo court got a conviction! They must feel so proud.
- inactive, on 08/06/2008, -1/+2The first of the legal "gimmees" the ones with more complicated and intricate cases will be interesting to follow
- ImperialRome, on 08/06/2008, -6/+3Nothing scary about that. This is what you get for taking up arms against the USA.
