Vancouver, Washington in running to host presidential debate

blog.oregonlive.com — The Portland-Vancouver area is one of 19 metropolitan centers in the running to host a 2008 presidential debate, reports Barbara Kerr, communications director at Clark College. If chosen, it would be the first such debate held in the Pacific Northwest.
