- Shigatsu, on 11/29/2007, -0/+7It's been ***** for years, he's been calling it for years... He wins by sticking to his guns for 20 years, and if you look back a ways, he's been right all along... he knew before iraq, he knows about the issues with the Fiat money system, he understands who the war on terror is waged on. The people who made America free gave us warnings and wise words to follow..
This man is genuine, and he has proven it through his voting record, through his sticking to his principals for decades. He's served in the military, he's served as a doctor, he's served the house banking committee and twice a lawmaker. The front runners of today want to rush into insane ill planned wars which will utterly destroy the US economy, as if its not ***** enough.. they dodged the call to arms, the draft and you'd never see their kids going to fight. There's a few exceptions in each party, and I don't doubt some think the war on terror is worth pursuing in their hearts, but more war is not helping America, but it does help the people at the other end of the Fiat money tree. - phillidor, on 11/29/2007, -1/+7Please consider contributing on the 16th of December.
Ron Paul needs the publicity of another big fund raising day.
I’m a veteran of the U.S. Air Force active duty (4yrs) and I currently serve as a traditional guardsman in the Air National Guard. All military personnel upon enlistment take the oath: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic…” A vote for Rep. Paul does just that. Ron Paul has my support.
There is an obvious media bias and it is sad. Rep. Paul is the one candidate of the crowd who has substantially differing views and he was not given much of a chance to articulate those views. Much time was given to marginal issues and small differences between other candidates’ positions on the issues. I suspect many special interest groups have much to lose if a President Paul had a chance to use his veto pen. This is reflected in the lack of time given to Rep. Paul.
As an economics major in college, I find his Austrian economics very sound. Check out www.mises.org if you find yourself in disagreement. There you can find a library of Austrian Economics E-books and other resources for free. - megabytehl, on 11/29/2007, -2/+6This debate was total *****, however, when Dr. Paul was allowed to speak he earned his winning position in my book.
- Shigatsu, on 11/29/2007, -0/+3If you think seeing "vote for this guy" on digg.. wait till you see how CNN does it. They make sure to bombard you with "anti-paul" propaganda, instead of just letting you make a unbias choice, they stack the deck against America, with these sorts of tactics.
You honestly want anything that they have picked out for America? - phatphing, on 11/29/2007, -0/+2They pulled the original poll. What else is new? The questions are all different now.
The original poll when I saw it had Dr Paul leading by over 5200 votes, now it's down to 1700 votes. Those who voted earlier need to revisit the site and resubmit their votes. - Shigatsu, on 11/29/2007, -0/+1Sorry to hijack the comments here, but I saw this appear earlier on digg... I think personally this is really important.
http://digg.com/politics/A_New_America --Check it out and digg it please. I'll post more on that link - xexkxex, on 11/29/2007, -2/+3Why didn't you just digg the poll instead of digging another site with a link to the poll? FAIL.
