- kenoshaMarge, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Brownback thinks it's a mixed audience? Maybe he might be surprised to find out it's a "mixed" country and not made up exclusively of homophobes.

The constitution clearly spells out that no person shall be deprived of their *persons*, *places*, and *effects*. That sort of outlines that they shall not be obstructed from "practicing their love with women", to quote George Bush.
It is not traditional in an organized sense, but they are capable of caring for their own lives. They are responsible for themselves. And shall not be restricted from operating within society as they see fit as long as they harm no others in the process.
Plus, the federal government should have no say so over the matters of the individual living within separate states. That's a GROOOSSS obstruction of the office he seeks to attain. He should be stopped right there and thrown off the podium. Follow the constitution pal. Back in the 1700-1800's, when somebody proposed something like that, they were literally shot!
