    I guess it could possibly be an AD rather than a ND. I'm not too familiar with those derringers. Do they have a transfer bar mechanism? Or are they hammerless? Do they even have a trigger guard? Perhaps a grip safety?

    I never trusted those things. Give me a cocked & locked Commander any day. Or even a Chief's Special in an ankle holster. Carrying a exposed hammer pistol without a trigger guard or any safety in your pocket is one good way to shoot your pecker off.
