- EntropyMan, on 10/10/2007, -3/+62Unique Creature? Cheney may soon declare himself manbearpig.
- OBKenobi, on 10/10/2007, -2/+31I get the feeling bringing Cheney to justice is going to be exactly like hunting a rabid, wild animal. He is a vicious, violent gangster.
In all seriousness, I really think he had prior knowledge of the Anthrax letters that were going to be sent to Leahy and Daschle for their opposition to the Patriot Act.
I know I've said it before, but there just is no other explanation left. Who the hell else, besides one of those behind this Neocon crusade, would send Anthrax letters to Democrats and the most liberal of the mainstream newsmedia? Not only send the letters, but include warnings in them that they were laced with Anthrax? That is not the way Islamic terrorists operate, or any terrorists seeking to KILL PEOPLE. It's pretty obvious the letters were sent to spread fear, not kill.
Bush-Cheney must be brought to justice, or else all those that follow will continue down the same corrupt path. It will be impossible to stop the corruption. - Vashinred, on 10/10/2007, -0/+24Its kinda old I thought, then I saw the interview. Does Evil have no Limits?!
- userundefine, on 10/10/2007, -0/+20I'm glad he is not a part of the executive branch. That means his claims to "executive privilege" for all secret meetings with dirty business partners are null and void.
Seriously, folks, these two issues were so ***** close in how they showed up in the media coverage you have to wonder how the ***** no reporter can make this statement against his *****. At least we can trust good journalists like Bill Moyers to bring it up... - MasterThief117, on 10/10/2007, -3/+22No wonder why his name is Dick.
- Mageant, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15This strikes me as like a munchkin player with a double-class or double-race character who only wants to have the advantages of each class/race but none of the disadvantages.
- Gerz1219, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16You're right, the Vice President claimed to be his own branch of government a few weeks ago... it's old and boring. The Constitution is old and boring too. I wonder what's going on with that Lindsay Lohan story?
- williamdyer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1315 months to the election. 17 month to inauguration. A frighteningly long time in which to stage a terror attack and invade Iran. We have to keep pounding these ***** harder and harder, until they are gone. The fate of the nation literally depends on them not starting the next war.
- acidhash, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12'Unique Creature' Cheney can kiss my ass.
- thedarkrabbit, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10unique creature... just like a snowflake... a big, evil, scary snowflake.
- DirtySnachez, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9yer ! you keep telling yourself that, right after they steal for the third straight time....
- NoSlack913, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9This is what happens when people "THINK" they know what the constitution says, and have it parroted to them from FOX news incorrectly.. Article II of the constitution deals with the election and selection of the VP, this is the "executive branch" section of the constitution. Article I deals with the legislative branch, it mentions that "The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided." No where does it mention that the VP is a part of the body, or that this is his/her primary duty. ... In Article I here is the text "Clause 1: The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected, as follows" seems clear to me that the VP has a role in the congress, but is clearly a selected part of the executive.... When Cheney shows me his supreme court appointment, then I will listen to his interpretation of the constitution.
"the More you know....." - cozzicon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8I've got a number of side bets for dinner these yahoos find a way not to leave.
Some people think I'm nuts- and wrong. But I just have a feeling these refusals to restaff bad staff have to do with trying to line something up so control can be maintained.
I hope I'm wrong, and I buy many dinners. - OHiggins, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10On the plus side, '08 is just a year away.
- ClOlD, on 10/10/2007, -3/+10Cheney Says He Is A ‘Unique Creature,’ Has Been Watching Too Much Mister Rogers' Neighborhood
- Kenard, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7"Well, the job of Vice President is an interesting one, because you have a foot in both the executive and the legislative branch."
I read that as being bound to the laws of both executive and legislative branch, a logical OR. Orders that apply to the executive branch would apply to him, as well as ones to the legislative branch.
If he wants to classify it that way. - discsid, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7So waitasecondhere, the Speaker of the House is 3rd in line for succession, and would be spending lots of time in the White House if some bad fish killed both the POTUS and VPOTUS--so does that make him part of the executive branch?
- tehrob, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7A simple google search (google being the know all end all of information of corse) from government sites states many many times that the VP is part of the executive branch.

He understands our constitution much better than anyone else in America.
- masgrada, on 10/10/2007, -0/+650/50??? So you're suggesting that half his duties are breaking ties on the raaaaaaaare occasion that they occur. So what's the other half? Just sitting in his office?
Just because the bastard doesn't admit it, does not mean it is not true. - cultist667, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Hes an alien grey.
- oriondarkwood, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5He is Unique just because the government has not officially approved the title Supreme Overlord
- oxymoron69, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I agree, although I forsee yet another battle fought on another front for the USA brought on by a false flag operation...
Your government won't depart office because they'll suspend elections during wartime or because of the fear of al quida rigging the elections.
best of luck USA! - sjones, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Her.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7I'm really, really hoping that's sarcasm...because I don't even think Digg's hardest right-wingers are *that* ***** stupid.
- EarlOfLade, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8Ahhhh YOU are the body sticking out of Dick's ass!
- mrgreen4242, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5That was my first thought as well. I'm curious if anyone has asked him that during a press conference.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Cheney needs to be sent back to school!
We need a no politician left behind bill. - FredoBerfil, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Yes, he's a 'unique creature,' he's the first vice president I can recall who's clearly a sociopath.
- bootle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Good. If he's not part of the executive branch, then we can ship him off to the Hague for a little old war crimes tribunal
- cloudyprison, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Hold on, Hold on! I'm a troll vampire but I CAN go outside and I'm NOT weak against Fire! Plus I get super strength and regeneration, and I'm wielder of the mighty Spell, Executive Power. (Or in the American Release of the game, Meteo)
- beerden, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Sociopaths have always been and forever will be elected to positions of leadership because they are the only ones who have no remorse or guilt about stepping on other peoples lives on the way up.
- BlacklabelSAR, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3If you read and understand The Constitution, then it is clear that he is indeed part of Executive Branch.
- ObiDan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Yes, but who would argue that the there wouldn't have been TEN TIMES the terror if suddenly our government officials were contracting anthrax and not merely being threatened with it? Besides, it's already been demonstrated that the strain of anthrax in the letters was traced to a U.S. Army installation.
- masgrada, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Just because the bastard doesn't admit it, does not mean it is not true.
- masgrada, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Dicks usually ***** pussies, but they can ***** ***** too.
-Team America - Vash265, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3"That is not the way Islamic terrorists operate, or any terrorists seeking to KILL PEOPLE. It's pretty obvious the letters were sent to spread fear, not kill"
Isn't that the whole point of TERRORism though? Getting your message across by spreading fear and threats? - Biznack, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Oh no, he's very right, it would seem Dick Cheney has a near masterful knowledge of the constitution, along with every manipulative oppurtunity within it.
- pintomp3, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4no plus side. just leaving office isn't good enough. he should be brought to justice for the constitutional violations, the deaths of thousands of american troops, and war profiteering.
- skellener, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Cheney is no more than a ***** substitute teacher. He's only supposed to be there in case the pres. dies or to cast a vote in the Senate if there is a tie. He is a part of the Executive Branch. A very small part. What a ***** Dick - literally.
- EarlOfLade, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I don't want him anywhere near my ass!
- tankexmortis, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Is this some kind of bizarre, elaborate troll? Or some obscure meme I'm not getting? You can't possibly be serious.
- BlacklabelSAR, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Criminals like Cheney are not unique creatures as of late. The few candidates who tell the truth are the unique creatures.
- tankexmortis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Oh, I wish.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2
... I agree... on the other side, this bastard is hanging in Washington D.C and politics for a really long time.. he will just take a short break and he will be pulling some strings from the shadow after 2008... just like H. Kissinger ... the only thing that can stop people like him cold is a swift heart attack... - krakdaddy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Hey France? Can I claim political asylum yet?
- DesignerScott, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2One word:
Still? - williamdyer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Then what is it? If it's not in the Constitution, it's not a legitimate function of the government.
