- reflex768, on 04/04/2008, -0/+2Nice photos there Vroom. The B1B has the most graceful lines of any strategic bomber.
- vroom101, on 04/04/2008, -0/+2One day I heard the noise of an plane. I looked around the sky to see what direction it was coming from. and dude, I couldn't believe my eyes. There was this big black thing (well, it looked black) against a beautiful, blue sky. I stared and then recognized the aircraft's lines -- it was a USAF B-1B Lancer . . . and it's A Big Boy. The Lancer banked, and I thought for sure the pilot and whoever else was flying the B-1B were looking way down below at me. Even though I was in no danger of anything I was a bit shaken and stirred. It's an intimidating U.S. military aircraft.
- covertress, on 04/05/2008, -0/+2Dugg for the crew evacuating safely. Thumbs up guys!
- Terrk, on 04/05/2008, -0/+1What they didn't say was that it was from the brakes. And that there were ammunitions aboard. It was loud as hell:-) Sometimes when a jet lands, they're brakes get REALLY hott and pose a threat of catching on fire, so they let the jet sit on the runway untill the brakes have cooled down. But this time they caught fire.
It was like the 4th of july.
