- muckemuck, on 09/05/2008, -0/+33Here's another contrast..
At the Paul rally Adam Kokesh (an Iraq War vet) was allowed to speak.
At the RNC Adam Kokesh was escorted from the building after holding up a sign and pointing out that McCain voted against veterans... while the crowd chanted "USA, USA, USA". It was a scene right out of 1984. - like2, on 09/05/2008, -1/+28WOW!!!! i am absolutely shocked that someone noticed- honestly. thank you!
i was at the ron paul convention and what the man says is absolutely 100% true!!
the revolution lives!!!!!!!!!!
~peace - rexblade, on 09/05/2008, -0/+18Just an observation CNN doesnt even include Ron Paul in the tags. Is it any wonder who they serve? SCUM.
- MadScramble, on 09/06/2008, -0/+13Since actions speak louder than words, this pretty well sums up what each campaign would deliver.
- libertygal76, on 09/06/2008, -0/+12Despicable the difference between the two!! One would think it was a major crime scene at the RNC with all the security!!!!!! Anyone who thinks that the Republican party is the party that welcomes everyone NEEDS TO THINK AGAIN!!!!! The RNC looks like a war zone for crying out loud and the Ron Paul rally just has enthusiastic supporters and not a police car in sight!! Once again the voice of the people has been crushed by the GOP!!!! I ask of you, where would YOU rather be???
- kerston, on 09/06/2008, -0/+9Join the "Campaign for Liberty" Help us get this country back on track. Bring back the constitution and hold our government accountable. They took an oath to hold up the constitution and they have broken that oath shamefully. Let's take our country back before it's too late!
- kerston, on 09/06/2008, -0/+8The rally for the republic was awesome and the police officers were very nice and seemed to really enjoy themselves, It was a good time for all :) Seems the RNC had alot of problems and unhappy people and police around. Seems like most of the attendees like war and discontent. From the reports I saw the speeches were very scripted and definetly read from a teleprompter. The R4R was unscripted and the enthusiasm and comradery was amazing.
- Acrinimiril, on 09/06/2008, -0/+7The government will forcefully take from the American people over $132,000,000.00 dollars, probably through inflation, to cover the money it gave away to both the Republican and Democratic political parties, in order to keep the American people out of the conventions, and create propaganda they could show Americans on TV.

Today I went to the McCain Rally in Cedarburg (While proudly wearing a Ron Paul shirt)
McCain surprised everybody nearby me in the crowd by stopping the bus to step out and pretend he was the Fonzie with his Thumbs-up gestures. You could tell by the looks on the faces of the Secret Service that they were absolutely pissed! They set up a few barricades and caution tape, but didn't screen any of us for weapons or anything like that.
As you could see from my photo, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize that if I were a terrorist with a hand grenade, I could have taken out John, Cindy, and Sarah in one short toss. As hated as they are, I thought it was very irresponsible of all of them to get so close to a large crowd that had not been screened.
See for yourself (shameless plug)

As a disclaimer, I don't advocate assassinations no matter how much you hate your opposition.
In other words, there is no need to send the Secret service to my house for submitting this comment :-) - sheeplescareme, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4agreed. also there. the revolution has really just begun!
