- ColumbusLee, on 09/07/2008, -12/+79The Community Organizers add is GREAT!!!!
I promised $100 when it going to be broadcast. How about some matching donations!!!!!!! - marabout40, on 09/07/2008, -12/+55Remember to help out with a donation so they can keep those ads on the air: http://www.truthandhope.org/donate.htm
- keigwyn, on 09/07/2008, -9/+41This ad is going out on the air because of the massive hits and support by people going to YouTube and digging it.
If you want this ad to air as widely and as long as possible, donate at the link marabout40 posted above. - stonecircle, on 06/11/2009, -6/+34Stark contrast to the nonstop in-your-face McCain ads being run here in Michigan, replete with ominous music setting the tone to scare us, wrapped around outright lies, propaganda and distortions. (The good news? It didn't work with the governor's race here -- Republican DeVos ran a nasty campaign and it cost him the election.)
These were great! Indeed, the Community Organizer ad is top-notch! - danceyoumonster, on 09/07/2008, -8/+31In the Great Depression, every movie had short subjects preceding it that informed the citizenry of events in the wider world or in the town next door. Spots like these should be the ones to revive this tradition.
- mariahopeful, on 09/07/2008, -11/+29Great ad!
- wampalord, on 09/07/2008, -1/+19Godwin'd in 4 comments. Nice.
- johnnr2, on 09/07/2008, -5/+22Excellent ads - love the last one.
- rz8472, on 09/07/2008, -0/+14Joe Biden needs to make it very clear during the VP debates that if not for community organizer Susan B. Anthony, Ms. Palin might not even be able to vote today, much less be on a presidential ticket.
- magus_melchior, on 09/07/2008, -3/+17You want Hitler-style politics? Look no further than the White House.
- jlee2081, on 09/07/2008, -9/+22dugg, great to see this type of creativity and initiative rewarded!
- Jordan117, on 09/07/2008, -1/+13Um, I hope that's not the final ad, because... "workers wages"?
Shouldn't that be "workers' wages"?
Nitpicking, yes, but this is going on national television...
EDIT: Oh, I see they've updated the post with a note about folks catching the typos. Disaster averted! - TunaFishGangsta, on 09/07/2008, -1/+12The second ad is better, IMO. The merging of the graphs really does it for me.
- Revlution4ever, on 09/07/2008, -1/+12wow, im saddened that some people would go so low.
shame on you. - clayne7, on 09/07/2008, -8/+19Donated. I love the ad and am taking part in any way that I can to assist in getting the TRUTH out! Thank you.
- somtam, on 09/07/2008, -3/+13Excellent ads. The American people need to know which party is on their side and which party is openly mocking them.
- inactive, on 09/07/2008, -2/+12Hitler thinks you're an *****.
- samimnot, on 09/07/2008, -3/+13I agree...the last Ad was very good. It shows the great contrast between what Sen. McCain "says now" / and the way he's "voted for" Bush policies. That graph really brings things into perspective.
- ChristPissed, on 09/07/2008, -0/+9NOOooo, Adolf Hitler was not a community organizer. Early in his life he lived in all male boarding house of male "artists", where he became very sexually confused and did little to help his community (unless, I do assume you consider exterminating Jews a form of Community Organizing). Later in life, after practicing in front of a mirror, he became a Christain Nationalist extremist. (As a pertinent historical side note, his personal physician gave him daily "vitamin" injections", which were in actuality pharmacological grade A methamphetamine, yes Hitler was a slammer, and as yet another side note, do Google these three words "Wassilla Palin Meth"...but I digress...) As you know, his (Hitler's) pals blew up a big building, then blamed it on someone else and he quite did well politically, invading innocent sovereign countries whilst harassing and exterminating his fellow countrymen(and woman, and homosexuals).
From your comment, I can only assume that you are an Adolf Hitler fanboy (shame on and ***** you).
And before I call you a lying piece of *****, do allow me to quote the esteemed George H.W. Bush:
"I have spoken of a thousand points of light, of all the community organizations that are spread like stars throughout the Nation, doing good. We will work hand in hand, encouraging, sometimes leading, sometimes being led, rewarding. We will work on this in the White House, in the Cabinet agencies. I will go to the people and the programs that are the brighter points of light, and I will ask every member of my government to become involved. The old ideas are new again because they are not old, they are timeless: duty, sacrifice, commitment, and a patriotism that finds its expression in taking part and pitching in. " ---President George HW Bush - January 20, 1989 ( http://www.yale.edu/lawweb/avalon/presiden/ inaug/bush.htm )
You, Sir or Madam SpannkBankk, are a lying piece of *****, and
How Dare you talk trash of the millions of American citizens and patriots who volunteer their free time to make their community and country a better place, and in the same breath you equate them to your nazi idol, adolph *****.
(shame on and ***** you). - VinnieDaMac, on 09/07/2008, -1/+9Politics aside, the mocking of community organizers is a disgrace.
- inactive, on 09/07/2008, -0/+7No he wasn't. He started off as some kind of "intelligence officer" for a right wing german nationalist party and then he wrote Mein Kampf. He was no more of a community organizer than Sean Hannity.
- Revlution4ever, on 09/07/2008, -5/+12Lets see if the republicans will call THIS inaccurate.
hahahaha. Those two ads are probably the best/most effective ads i've seen so far. Why do presidential candidates always hire the "generic-attack" ad creators? Most, if not all, presidential nominee ads suck. - DTJunkie07, on 09/07/2008, -0/+5He is talking about McCain. *whoosh*
- FutureGuy, on 09/07/2008, -2/+7you are a fing moron, folks like you remind me of this
http://i35.tinypic.com/10p557a.jpg (another from digg frount page), you are the fish who is thinking is up for a ride but forgetting the talon inching into its head. 8 years, 8 ***** years and you want to blame "liberals" for mess. Go jump off a cliff. - DephexTwin, on 09/07/2008, -0/+5http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mAAxCg2CC4
- macsox, on 09/07/2008, -3/+8Oh, OK. Thanks for explaining it.
I guess I don't support Obama anymore, since you explained it. It was very convincing. - datagod, on 09/07/2008, -0/+5Socialism has nothing to do with freedom. What I meant was that I would be very happy if Ron Paul won, but seeing as how that likely will never happen, perhaps Obama would be a second (non-new-world-order) best.
- handenry, on 09/07/2008, -3/+7dugg for great justice.
or at least in the hope of great justice. - sinembarg0, on 09/07/2008, -0/+4From a political standpoint, Bush sucks, but he was still elected. This ad isn't meant be graphic design however, so how easy or hard it was to create is irrelevant.
- inactive, on 09/07/2008, -0/+4Yeah. Turns out republicans have a problem with town hall style local democracy. Who knew?
- GregFD3S, on 09/07/2008, -3/+7These need to go on the air!
- inactive, on 09/07/2008, -4/+8The second ad shows a clip of a Bush impersonator
- Kinneas12, on 09/07/2008, -4/+8Meh.. It's good but not good enough for air. The text switches too fast. It feels finicky to try to follow. Yes, it was easy to follow but not easy enough for TV standards. Oh, and the final picture needs a b/w transition to colour effect.
- bigbangbuddha, on 09/07/2008, -0/+4Bravo
- ChristPissed, on 09/07/2008, -0/+4Please, xjohnmcclanex, do elaborate more on your fixation with fellatio?
- TheFoshizzler, on 09/07/2008, -3/+7I'm getting sick of people spewing this bs. You think that if Gore was elected in 2000 we'd be in the same position we're in today? Piss off.
- TigerStar337, on 09/07/2008, -2/+5They forgot to add that Jesus was a community organizer too.
Obama/Biden '08 - inactive, on 09/07/2008, -1/+4After 8 years of Bush, let's see... gas is more expensive, rent is higher, war in iraq, constitutional freedoms have been taken away, economy is terrible, etc.
Hmmm... I don't know guys. Tough call. Who should I vote for? Hmmmm... McCain or Obama?
You guys are sheep if you think republican politicians care about the average person. - ChristPissed, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3Tag question -1

-"F" - derkaryian, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3It is being edited with the punctuation corrected & voiceover added. The second ad is ready to go.
- magus_melchior, on 09/07/2008, -1/+4Come on, it's an excellent rebuttal of Palin's incendiary attack on Obama's credentials, and one that can silence GOP supporters still chuckling with her.
- ChristPissed, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3You, Sir or Madam, are a concern troll.
- Tiak, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3Since this is sort of the digg criticism thread, it'd probably be a good idea to switch the community shot to something that is more recognizably not Europe. The general public hasn't seen many crowd shots of Obama speeches other than the Berlin speech, it seems like a venue that had the same general outdoor atmosphere may be a bad idea, unless you have a shot from Oregon that showed the area behind Obama too.
A stadium shot might be nice... Maybe a pan over the Boise panorama that made digg a while back? - Eoborges, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3Same thing happened to Kerry Healey when she ran against Deval Patrick for Governor of Massachusetts
- inactive, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3When you read the federalist papers, did you skip all the essays by Alexander Hamilton?
- wrzhydr, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3Where?
- GREEDOnvrFIRED, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3Well that's great. Glad to hear it.
- rootsm3, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3Yeah we could blow him some more...and you would keep watching wouldn't you?
- autechre78, on 09/07/2008, -0/+3I like Ron Paul as much as you do, but writing him in is a wasted vote.
- inactive, on 09/07/2008, -1/+4Jesus was a community organizer as well, *****.
Ohh and Pontius Pilate was a Govoner, *****. -
