  • russkie69, on 09/16/2008, -0/+1It really seems to this 40-something that the generation ahead of me that is slowly fading from the world scene really is the "greatest generation." I believe I'm quoting Bill Mayers, but others have picked up on this label. It's hard to measure up to the people who saved the world from Fascism and held-off the Commies (cough). At any rate, this is a great tribute to a great man. Read it. You might pick up a few pointers that can get you through life!
