- alapoet, on 07/18/2008, -0/+13Hell yes, it's a wise move. Lieberman is a Republican in everything but name. Might as well make it official.
- inactive, on 07/18/2008, -0/+8Lieberman is positioned to be McCain's "Cheney" to make sure the evil is done with competence and efficiency. Here's a thought on the Dem ticket: Hillary's NO vote on FISA helps position her for VP slot, in which she can be Obama's "Cheney" and more effectively and efficiently do the bidding of the power elites and of course the Israelis. The VP slot seems to be more and more the seat of power, we can thank Evil Dick Cheney for this historic change in the political landscape.
- tcbishop12, on 07/18/2008, -0/+8Two words for an increasingly irrelevant Joe Lieberman: Who cares?
- JoanDark, on 07/18/2008, -0/+7Let/make him go! He is a republican, and a thorn in our collective side.
- spacester, on 07/18/2008, -0/+7A traitor's a traitor (lowercase 't' cuz only a traitor to his party) - this stuff cannot be tolerated, Obama-politics notwithstanding. Sometimes you gotta take out the trash. Even if he wanted to, it is not possible for Joe to make enough apologies for not just the McCain support but for the Obama attacks. He's chosen his course. He doesn't need to be chairing committees and getting in the way, strip him. Let him come to the caucus if he wants, but he won't.
Another good reason to work on all those open Senate races: pick up a few unexpected Dem victories and put filibuster threats back on the scrap heap of Senate history where they belong. Make Joe irrelevant. - mousers1968, on 07/18/2008, -0/+4Get it over with- the Democrats can not get anything passed through the Senate because of the permanent filibuster anyway. Bye bye.
- motivatedmama, on 07/18/2008, -0/+4C-ya, Lie-berman. Don't let the door hitcha...
- inactive, on 07/20/2008, -0/+4He is the epitome of a sleazy waffling politician characteristic of the two party system. We must learn to think outside the box and color outside the lines if we are to ever make any progress. Who the Hell do you think determined that you had to accept the perceived "lesser of two evils?" The ever ruling oligarchy, that is who. Tell them all to go to Hell. It is time to dethrone the enemies identified as blue and red and the puppet masters who pull their strings. Armed rebellion may be necessary. If so, to arms fellow patriots!!!
- MorganMghee, on 07/20/2008, -0/+4No choice really, the Dem's are working on stripping him of all but his seat. No choice for a no integrity politician that is.
- inactive, on 07/20/2008, -0/+3Lieberman should start a formal 'Israel First Party.' Then all the Zionists like Lieberman and Berman, and the AIPAC shills who've grown fat on American tax dollars laundered through the Israel lobby (pretty much everyone else except for Paul and a few others) can promote Israel's interests unencumbered.
- inactive, on 07/20/2008, -0/+3and to think he would be our VP, if the neocons hadn't hijacked the election...he probably talked Gore out of contesting the results...
- inactive, on 07/18/2008, -0/+3It makes sense when you realize Joe's relationship to the USA is to see how he can get it to serve his own country.
- inactive, on 07/20/2008, -0/+2n0gnuz, right with you. repeat, He is an ISRAELI FIRST!
- inactive, on 07/20/2008, -0/+1"Lieberman is a Republican in everything but name..."
Well, to be honest he also hasn't been caught in any men's washroom soliciting sex. Not a good republican. - egossett, on 07/20/2008, -0/+1I hope so.
