- psiege, on 05/23/2008, -2/+7Change, hope, character. The foundation of this man's presidency. Think again Obamabots!
- DavidS9, on 05/23/2008, -2/+6nope to many blind Obama supporters out there trolling for negative stories to bury
- jdmgomoo, on 05/23/2008, -2/+6Deception, Change we can all agree upon? What's the story with this guy. Change? Like the kind Castro brought to Cuba?
- DavidS9, on 05/23/2008, -2/+6You know the the really sad thing is people fall for this guys excuses over and over again. He's like twinky nothing but fluff inside and out, and not very healthy for you.
- psiege, on 05/23/2008, -1/+4Blind, and afraid sheep they are, all chanting "Obaaamaaa, Obaaamaaa". Afraid of the true definition of Obama's "Change and Hope" mantra.
- dan222555, on 05/23/2008, -1/+4It would take an act of God.
- Christianptriot, on 05/23/2008, -2/+4Not that I think he is the anti-Christ, but Obama is moving rapidly to the top of the heap (and it ain't a good heap), the way that Hitler did - and Stalin - and Castro - and Chavez - anyone notice a pattern yet? Everyone looks to this person for some perceived change. I agree we need to change some of the ways things are going in this country, but we have to be so careful about what direction we move when we change.
The oba-maniacs don't seem to care what direction he takes them - which is the real scary part. - psiege, on 05/23/2008, -1/+2*down on my knees praying* - "God, let the Obamabots see the light! Let the truth be known!"
- psiege, on 05/23/2008, -4/+5So, what's it going to take to get an important, albeit negative, story of Obama to the front page of Digg? Is it possible?
- Smuhamm, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1Can you trust yourself? that is the true question.
- lucy22, on 05/23/2008, -2/+3The whole point is he is shifty and has been dishonest. He changes his tune as the wind blows. Can he be trusted?
- eleete, on 05/23/2008, -2/+3Time to break out the flip flops again, and not cuz it's summer either.
- Smuhamm, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1His way is no way scary, what is the fear that makes you think that he is going into the wrong direction, there should be a Gut and heart check and the way will become lighted within the soul. Or we can continue down the same dark parthway that many are comfortable with traveling, they know this way well in the dark.
- psiege, on 05/23/2008, -1/+2No.
- Smuhamm, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1If only you see the true light, the truth is before you, but the shadows of the soul is somehow full of fear for this candidate what harm could the shephard do to his sheep but care for them. All of them
- Smuhamm, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1Those who is empty inside are empty because they refuse to be come full, they push aside all of the substance that could very well fulfill their insides, they forget to look at all of the ingredients contained in that substance that would be good for their whole body. Yet they like fail to realize that by not getting to know the ingrediences that are good for them, they shove it aside. Big mistake, but there is always room for improving the insides, just take out the garbage , clean the heart, go within.
- Baumtrack, on 05/23/2008, -3/+1Wait, are you guys freaking kidding me? Did you READ this article? Take your time, read it, I'll wait.
OK, now that you've actually read the article, how can you say that ANY of these things are actually (1) important, (2) refer to major political ideological shifts, or (3) actually represent any moral ambiguity.... People, Fox News' own article is only focusing on ticky-tack differences. Allow me to highlight, and I promise to be fair and balanced.
I'll take these points one at a time:
1) OK, don't have too much of a problem with this comment. Probably should pay attention to his choice of words here.
2) So he sat at the church during some controversial remarks, but not THE controversial remarks that Rev Wright got famous for. Since he was not there for THE controversial remarks at issue, he probably didn't learn about them until he ran for president. There is no contradiction here.
3) Does the "something stirring in Selma" mean his parents doing it? I mean, the Civil Rights movement was kind of a big deal back then, and considering his audience, that just might have been his point.
4) Ummm... there actually is a difference between lawyer advocates and lobbyists. And a PAC is a political action committee, so what in his comment refutes that? He got money from lawyers... oooh. Guess what, they're rich! That's a good place to look.
5) He could easily have meant that its the only bill he approved of, or didn't try to stop it. Honestly, this is so minute of an issue, I could care less. This is the second most insightful comment in the article, after the first.
6) Wait, this huge distinction is that he said he was a professor, but he was actually a lecturer? Hey, I went to law school, and there is no difference in the eyes of ANYONE (except the teachers) when it comes to the Prof/Lecturer distinction. I have no idea which of mine were Profs and which weren't. You just called them all Prof. X or Y and moved on. Good researching, Fox.
7) OMG! A grown man cannot remember the correct article in the correct magazine that he read when he was 9. Lordy Lordy! What a freaking liar!
8) Yeah, he said he "learned the language" not "became a master of the language and never needed help with it." There are people in THIS country that have lived here for 20 years that - even with help - are embarrassingly pitiful at speaking the language. Oh, also, the critical comment here was from his FIRST GRADE TEACHER. How good were you at English in first grade?
Look, I'm normally a republican stalwart, and I'm not an Obama-bot, but if you want to see a good article by Fox News, check the McCain one. I liked it. http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/05/22/trail-of-t ...
There are some ACTUAL contradictions there. (Sorry for the lengthy comment)
