- kelalo, on 05/13/2008, -7/+62The number that struck a chord with me was the "Obama chose a great team" one. The ability to choose a group of qualified, intelligent, deputies able to work with one another--and then to LEAD them effectively and firmly--is probably the single greatest quality of any president. It makes me incredibly excited to find out who Obama's veep will be and then, who his cabinet will be.
- socivitus, on 05/13/2008, -7/+52While Obama is an extraordinary candidate, Hillary and her campaign fudged up A LOT which really did her in.
- macaca, on 05/13/2008, -6/+3711- He opposed the war before even it was started. Good judgment!
- actionscripted, on 05/13/2008, -6/+3011. The other candidates suck.
It's like the former elections where people chose [what they felt was] the best of the worst, only now there's a good alternative. - LiteralSteve, on 05/13/2008, -12/+3412. Hillary Clinton is a bitch
- Jambi, on 05/13/2008, -4/+29Oh no, he lived in Hawaii and Indonesia! I guess that makes him a closet Muslim who wants to force us all to grow beards, pray to Mount Kilauea and eat that horrible Hawaiian pizza! The horror! If only he'd been raised in Alabama and wanted to force us to pray to a 2,000 year old dead carpenter, then we could support him!
- tolbs, on 05/13/2008, -1/+22RepubOperative is now officially my favorite digger. Instead of rallying against Obama on what a conservative would view as valid criticisms (His budget plans, gun policy, and stance on health care) he fearmongers by crying out against where he lived, where he went to school, and what religion his grandmother was.
Seriously man, wtf? You make us conservatives look bad. Crawl back into that NeoCon hole you came out of. - DeskFlyer, on 05/13/2008, -4/+21How exactly is he a long shot?
- richmomz, on 05/13/2008, -5/+23It's fitting that Hillary is pinning her last hopes in WV where she will rally her 'base'. Cue the dueling banjo theme from Deliverance!
- Aensland, on 05/13/2008, -1/+19Somebody sounds bitter.
- DannyDriffs, on 08/25/2008, -10/+2712. We Digged the ***** out of him.
- atish505, on 05/13/2008, -2/+1611. Hillary Clinton is an obsessive, compulsive liar. A dishonest bitch and people have come to realize this.
- Jareth86, on 05/13/2008, -1/+13Obama won my vote, because unlike Hillary, Jon Kerry, and most of the dems, rather then running a campaign that tries as much as it can to appeal to the republican base, in the assumption that they will get them democratic vote anyways, he actually appeals to his own ***** party (crazy idea, I know). He doesn't constantly pander to the right wing nuts that want to throw our civil liberties away in hopes of being granted a false sense of security. He actually speaks what he believes in!
- tolbs, on 05/13/2008, -1/+10Hawaiian Pizza is really good.
- dyous87, on 05/13/2008, -0/+10wtf are you talking about? you are a moron.
- EtherGnat, on 05/13/2008, -1/+8Cut RepubOperative some slack. It's only fair to make fun of Obama misspeaking when our current Republican President has set the bar so high for eloquence and inspirational speaking.
- trademarkhero, on 05/13/2008, -0/+7That YouTube video there makes me a bit sad. Not because of the video itself, but the comments. It makes me sad because there are some truly hateful and ignorant people out there, and they're barely noticed until times like these, or at least I forget about them. And like to forget about them or pretend they don't exist. It's just a bit depressing is all.
- janoo1989, on 05/13/2008, -0/+6surely you must be joking
- FairDinkumMate, on 05/13/2008, -0/+6No, look at his comment history - he's a spamming Clinton troll
- mali1, on 05/13/2008, -4/+10"#10. Great Team. Obama assembled a great team that could work together."
Obama sounds like a Pokemon Master. - ronjohn, on 05/13/2008, -0/+6My sentiments exactly!!!
- vault, on 05/13/2008, -2/+7I would leave the country before voting for Hillary Clinton.
- inactive, on 05/13/2008, -0/+5"personality cult"
Right-wing Reagan worshippers have no business saying that. - Whaines, on 05/13/2008, -0/+5I stopped at, "Race ain't over yet (no pun intended)."
- notoneofus, on 05/13/2008, -1/+6Of course. He's republican. What is there not to be bitter about for him looking forward to November?
- notoneofus, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4I understand *saying* no pun intended when you're speaking because the words already came out. Writing it just calls attention to an obviously intentional pun. If it wasn't intended, you would have changed it before hitting submit.
- DeathJux, on 05/13/2008, -4/+8Am I taking crazy pills or is it still not official?
"Don't count your chickens before they hatch."
Obama seems like the obvious choice for a plethora of reasons, but until it's settled this seems like another ***** sensationalized article pumped out by HuffPost to get more traffic. - bhod, on 05/13/2008, -4/+8sometimes sanctions are needed if it concerns our national security. we must leave all options on the table. but i trust obama and believe he'd know how to deal with iran. not like this idiot president we have now.
- EtherGnat, on 05/13/2008, -1/+5Oh my god NO! Not the sanctions. ANYTHING but the sanctions!
- chaosium, on 05/13/2008, -2/+7"Stop answering the same questions 50x "
The media has not the patience to ask new questions, nor to know the answers already given. - happyseamonster, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Penn
- inactive, on 05/13/2008, -0/+5lol, more republicans with crystal balls
- inactive, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4Hillary supporter?!?!?!? I DARE you to find one post of mine where I say anything even REMOTELY positive about Hillary.
I accept your apology. - chaosium, on 05/13/2008, -1/+53. More superdelegates as well.
- EtherGnat, on 05/13/2008, -2/+6...or you could read the story (since you seem to have nothing better to do) and make a judgment based on the content. I actually found the content of this article to be spot on. But hey, the more people want to ignore how Obama has achieved success the better. Hopefully McCain will make the same mistakes.
- javip, on 05/13/2008, -1/+6yes, it's the immigrants, it can't possibly be the Americans such as mzx639 who can't put a cohesive sentence together.. and submit stories titled "The 16 Best Stage Falls Caught on Tape" and "The 13 Worst Hair Trends in Music"
- abby11, on 05/13/2008, -5/+10POOF=YOUR GONE!:)
- SEANWOOKIE, on 05/13/2008, -0/+3I thought it was what I'm going to do to you.
- DesertDude, on 05/13/2008, -0/+3@janoo: Of course I was. It was originally very subtle, then I remembered that Digg is the place where sarcasm comes to die, so I made it more obvious and used caps and exclamation marks. My sarcasm offspring was brutally murdered, as should be expected.
I never understood why so many people here used that "/sarcasm" closer. Not anymore. - HiJason, on 05/13/2008, -4/+8I agree, I think out of the ten reason, the most important reason is simply "Inspiration". At the end, we all want a leader who can truly inspire us more than anything else...
- 47f0, on 05/13/2008, -1/+6Nice try, but the reality is the war will be funded. Bush has a pile of places he can rob Peter to pay Paul in the budget. Not funding the war simply ensures more economic damage where we don't need it.
- JQP123, on 05/13/2008, -1/+4#1 Reason Obama defeated Clinton:
Hillary Clinton - starmanfalls, on 05/13/2008, -2/+4anyone who supports Hillary is most surly under educated, misled, lazy, or just plain stupid. I wonder what the psychics feel about that bitch. I get a feeling from her and it ain't good
- teresina, on 05/13/2008, -1/+3lol. children suck. they don't need healthcare.
- ronjohn, on 05/13/2008, -0/+2lmao! Or seperate white from blacks during the 60s
- hamobu, on 05/13/2008, -1/+4Sign Petition against having Hillary as VP:
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Nightmare_Ticket ... - unpluggedboy, on 05/13/2008, -0/+2True. And let's hope Obama doesn't make the mistake of making her the VP, lest she Vince Foster his butt and somehow "crown" herself as president.
- tolbs, on 05/13/2008, -0/+2I'm glad you agree, but that wasn't my point :)
