after 08 I started understanding why so much of the country hates her - pilobilus, on 03/31/2008, -2/+40Comes the next General Election, I'm voting for Anyone But Hillary. Can I hear an Amen?
If I have to write in Dennis Kucinich just to underscore the fact that the Democratic Party is owned by the same ***** of lobbyists who now own the White House, so be it. - DiggLive, on 03/31/2008, -1/+26"She won all the big states!"
Man, that pisses me off every time I hear it. California and New York are going to be Democratic with anyone as the nominee. Besides those two, what big states has she won? - 3tcp, on 03/31/2008, -0/+19Clinton stands for Unity! Together, people of all races, politics and backgrounds will stand up, hold hands and shout in one voice "Hillary Clinton, ***** off!"
- Spytap, on 03/31/2008, -2/+19Oh my God! There's a chance he could have at one time been or been around a Muslim! That means he's a Tirrist!
Learn to read, and wait for that other testicle to drop, then feel free to rejoin the conversation. - aliengoods, on 03/31/2008, -2/+19With a name like RepubOperative, you don't hide your bias, and I applaud you for that. But you present your distorted, dishonest ***** as fact, and I digg you down for that.
- j0hneb0y81, on 03/31/2008, -0/+15texa... wait.. nevermind :)
- wynja, on 03/31/2008, -1/+15It's okay. At least you pulled your head out of the sand to breath before it was too late.
- okayokayokay, on 03/31/2008, -3/+17I hope everyone can keep in mind that most Hillary supporters are well-intentioned people who have been sold these very myths. We can choose to dispel these falsehoods with hurtful I-told-you-so's, or we can choose to patiently and compassionately reach out to these folks as allies. We're all going to need to play on the same team in a few months, and the less bitterness the better.
- ClockworksNine, on 03/31/2008, -6/+19Shoo, grownups are talking. Spread you FUD elsewhere, RepubOperative.
- shortysmyname, on 03/31/2008, -0/+9I think America is not ready for this female president (Hillary). She's really ruining our reputation and making women look bad!
- wynja, on 03/31/2008, -0/+9Hahahahah, that's right eat a Valium and just lie down. As every day passes, Clinton only proves how selfish she really is. She will do nothing but hurt her own Senate reelection at this point.
- kemp34, on 03/31/2008, -1/+10Power hungry people are not good.
- dinot, on 03/31/2008, -0/+7"we can choose to patiently and compassionately reach out to these folks as allies."
Have you ever tried to have a debate with a Hillary supporter? "Patient" and "compassionate" are hardly suitable words to describe them. If you don't believe me, go here www.hillaryis44.org You'll see they're not well-intentioned, but rather angry, vindictive women who feel that their candidate is being cheated from what is rightfully hers. - vertinox, on 03/31/2008, -0/+7As they said on Bill Maher's show, people in the states that have a late primary should have a chance to vote on the Presidential candidates.
Now the best solution would be that we'd have all the primaries on the same day, but this year in PA is one of the few times their primary might "sort of" mean something. - elshizzo, on 03/31/2008, -0/+5An excellent cheatsheet to keep when arguing with a Hillary supporter
- vertexoflife, on 04/01/2008, -0/+5The president before our current one, *****.
- WhoismP, on 03/31/2008, -0/+5Although all those are all myths, there is one fact: 1968 can happen all over again.
- chrisgnv, on 03/31/2008, -1/+6Do you KNOW you're full of ***** as you are typing? How are ANY of those relevant to his qualification to be a president, or to the magnitude of Hillary's lies?
- egoherodotus, on 03/31/2008, -0/+4she is so incredibly selfish. disgusting.
- InfamousAtheist, on 03/31/2008, -1/+5I never cease to be amazed at the diehard right-wingers' abilities to tune out the truth while swallowing and regurgitating complete *****.
You should be ashamed of yourself - spreading outright falsehoods and racist propaganda is immoral and wrong. You're eating yourself with hatred. - vault, on 03/31/2008, -4/+8Hey don't feel bad...it only took you what, 16 years to learn the truth about Hitlery?
- dfwlinuxguy, on 03/31/2008, -1/+5I guess that everyone has forgotten that "it depend on what the meaning of the word is...is" and the fact that Bill outright sold all our military secrets to China. The Chinese couldn't even get a rocket to fly before we helped them...a communist, oppressive government. The Clinton's are for the same scorched earth win at all costs politics we've been dealing with since Reagan left office. For the first time in my adult life, I'm ready to vote for a Democrat. I'm ready for Obama. I don't agree with him on every issue. I have a HUGE disagreement on how to handle the ILLEGAL immigration issue, but at least with him I won't have to spend the next 9 year of politics as it has been. John McCain all but came out and said he was in favor of a one world government the other day with his statements about an "American Union" in the same fashion as the EU. Lump us all together in smaller and smaller groups until heck boundaries don't matter..we're all a part of this world and should be governed by one group that has our "best interests" at heart. If you think that the Clinton's aren't in the same group...you're kidding yourself. American prosperity, wealth, jobs, security, knowledge are all being undermined in the name of one world government. Obama MAY...I say COULD BE a part of the same crowd, but at least I don't yet know that for sure. He seems to be for unity. I can take the next 9 years of seeing him represent our Country. I can't say the same for Clinton or McCain.
- h4ppydotcom, on 03/31/2008, -0/+4Florida...?
- dinot, on 03/31/2008, -0/+4Though my experiences have been different, I totally agree with what you're saying. I just wish that mentality could be applied to Hillary supporters as well. It would make things a lot easier.
- bruenig, on 03/31/2008, -1/+4Truth #1: In a democracy, each vote should be counted. Later states shouldn't have 0 say in the matter but should at least be able to articulate a preference.
- okayokayokay, on 03/31/2008, -0/+3Wow, okay. Agreed - that website is obviously evil. And I've never tried to have a debate with THOSE wingnuts. But the Hillary supporters I HAVE interacted with are real world human beings with hopes, dreams, families, and souls just like the rest of us. How do I know this? Because I LISTEN to them, rather than just shoving the truth down their throats. Because showing them that you care more about connecting than about pwning gives them space to listen BACK.
- motivatedmama, on 03/31/2008, -0/+3Honestly, at one point I thought I could hold my nose and vote for Hillary if I had to, I just couldn't do that now! Please don't make me!!!
Still a vote for McCain is the vote of a madman. Most of us know this and will act accordingly. I just wish there was a viable 3rd party candidate : (
(End nightmare sequence).......Still, (take a deep breath) None of this will come to pass. No need to choose the lesser of two psychos. Whew! - inactive, on 03/31/2008, -0/+3No, but her hotness is
- Seldon2639, on 03/31/2008, -0/+3There's something particularly annoying about creating straw-man arguments for your opponents positions, and then (surprise) being able to prove them wrong. It takes more than a little equivocation to say "well, if we changed the electoral college to proportional representation (which it isn't, nor has ever been), Obama's still winning in the electoral college." It's subtle, and it's tricky, but it's there. Obama supporters have a strong enough argument without prevarication.
The issue is that either way we're shooting ourselves in the foot. About one-in-six Obama supporters have said they would not vote for Hillary, and about the same proportion of Hillary supporters said the opposite. I think this will go a lot easier if both sides (and I include Obama supporters who are "nudge, nudge, wink, wink not part of the campaign") stop beating each other up. The Huffington Post needs to lay off the "Hillary doesn't understand reality" crap, and the papers supporting Hillary need to lay off the crap about Rev. Wright.
Now's when I get dugg down because someone's going to claim the Huffington Post is non-biased, and just reporting on what's really happening. I don't mind. But before you do, I'd only ask that you really think for a second about whether the news you're reading, about Obama having descended from on high, and Hillary is a selfish witch, is anything more than confirmation bias, and an echo-chamber. Is it unbiased because it's fair, or unbiased because you agree with it? - inactive, on 04/01/2008, -0/+3Truth #1 - America is ready for a female President, but not a LYING BITCH President.
- localcats, on 03/31/2008, -0/+2Only the richest candidates could afford to run in a national nomination contest.
- aznhomig, on 03/31/2008, -1/+3If you come up with a system to tally up every single vote, establish 100% voter turnout, and find a way to make this counting process infallable without a margin of error, then be my guest.
- gcauthon, on 03/31/2008, -2/+4Pop quiz... Which candidate is for "change?" Which candidate could you sit down and have a beer with? Which candidate is power hungry? Which candidate supports the troops? Here's a hint, there are are no wrong answers. If you consider any of these valid criteria for choosing a candidate then you may as well flip a coin in the ballot booth. All politicians, especially presidential candidates, are power hungry.
- inactive, on 03/31/2008, -0/+2You do understand that the Presidential Election is not a popularity contest, don't you?
- inactive, on 03/31/2008, -0/+2#11: Giving the Digg Nation something to post about
- aliengoods, on 03/31/2008, -0/+2I just checked out that hillaryis55.org site.....and I thought the godhatesfags.com site was *****.
- asskicker32, on 03/31/2008, -0/+2Horray for Montana!!! They will decide this mess.

[citation needed] - inactive, on 04/01/2008, -0/+2The only White House job for which either remaining democrat candidate is qualified would be scrubbing the trash cans and toilets. Not that McAmnesty is any prize . . . except in comparison to these two losers.
BURIED for its flagrant favoritism and effort to bring amity to a group which richly deserves to bleed out dead before November. - fmaxwell, on 04/01/2008, -0/+1You do realize that Hillary is the one who lost a primary and boarded a plane without giving a concession speech or even thanking those who voted for her, don't you?
- jeffwmartin, on 04/01/2008, -0/+1A) we don't live in a democracy
B) This is the process to select a candidate, it is controlled by the political parties and has nothing to do with your right to vote. - itstodd, on 04/01/2008, -0/+1The best part is she was the democratic savior last year. Now shes been thrown under the bus. Is it any wonder the world laughs at these drones?
- jeffwmartin, on 04/01/2008, -0/+1When you have 10 candidates running for the same party, the money is spread out. In the general, there's only 1 candidate per party.
- wynja, on 04/01/2008, -0/+1Seriously, Russia is broken and we needed an new enemy, so back off Clinton selling secrets to China. It was done for the good of the Military Industrial Complex.
- mal1964, on 04/01/2008, -0/+1No worries motivate, Peace!
