- stonebear, on 02/06/2008, -8/+245FYI, pollworkers work a 16 hour day for peanuts, if anything, and are often prevented from leaving the site while sworn in. Most precincts are only active for two hours in the beginning, and two hours in at the end. God help you if you didn't bring some kind of personal entertainment (hacking Diebold machines doesn't count) to while away the hours in between.
- inactive, on 11/20/2008, -2/+173Study hard and you'll make it to the Electoral College

Who the ***** do you think you are to treat someone like this? She's not the problem, the policy makers, and the system are. This is incredibly asinine, but then again, this in the internet. Serious Business!

- trotskyist, on 02/06/2008, -6/+37She's asleep and therefore not watching for someone to be tampering with the voting machine.

- PleaseJustDie, on 02/06/2008, -3/+27seriously, and since it doesn't have ANY relevance to this article at ALL, you're getting blocked and reported.
- thcobbs, on 02/06/2008, -3/+23Sometimes its not about the compensation you get for a job.... but the job you are doing itself.
- jmusal, on 02/06/2008, -0/+20And a photographer in the room.
- redstorm986, on 02/06/2008, -0/+19I missed the words latino or "lazy mexican" anywhere in this comment tree.

If she doesn't hack that machine, i'm sure any linux guru could with an EEE PC and a USB cord =P
I think we can safely say that with electronic voting, somehow, it will never be 100% accurate as to what the people voted for. - virtualball, on 02/06/2008, -0/+10How many people across the world know your name and occupation?
- insomniac8400, on 02/06/2008, -0/+10Whats that cloud doing next to a voting booth in a fire station?
- Bornhuetter, on 02/06/2008, -0/+10And Stalin riding on a My Little Pony

- neo2007, on 02/06/2008, -3/+12That photo has been photoshopped! I saw the original, she had a 40oz coke in one hand and a big mac in the other.

- CTK14A, on 02/06/2008, -7/+16I'm surprised Sabrina isn't 80 years old and complaining about the sandwich that was supposed to be delivered two hours ago...
That's right, poll workers get free sandwiches. AND donuts. - JavertHolmes, on 02/06/2008, -0/+8The parent comment *is* helpful in that it's a direct quote from what the lady was reading in printed form just prior to falling asleep.
