- vatosplace, on 10/15/2007, -7/+41Joe LIEberman the best senator Israel could buy.
- pintomp3, on 10/13/2007, -3/+20Lieberman - representing hard-line israeli interests to the detriment of the US and often israel.
- inactive, on 10/15/2007, -9/+25Ol' clueless Joe, doing what he does best. Shilling for the GOP.
- inactive, on 10/13/2007, -3/+14Gee, I never thought the neo-con Lieberman trolls would be out in force so quickly to defend their little Israeli puppet.
- toasty168, on 10/13/2007, -2/+8vast majority of people don't have a problem with jews. most have problems with israel and how the US is becoming more like them every day. why the ***** do we GIVE them so much money? why are my tax dollars going to israel? why is israel the french tickler up the middle east's ass?
- schwab002, on 10/13/2007, -2/+7as a jew from CT, i vote Lamont.
- ButterBuddha, on 10/13/2007, -2/+7Congressional Jew vs Jew battle....Awesome
- TheSwashbuckler, on 10/13/2007, -3/+7You're probably a crook and a liar...
- inactive, on 10/13/2007, -3/+7Don't you mean shilling for Israel?
- Monk22, on 10/13/2007, -0/+4"It doesn't take a genious to figure out."
most excellent - Matthew720, on 10/13/2007, -4/+8Anti - Semetic doesn't mean what you think it means. Just because Israel is 80% Jewish, doesn't mean that those who speak against the state of Israel are anti-Semitic. Get a clue. Lieberman's rhetoric is inline with the current Likud party in Israel. It doesn't take a genious to figure out which team he's batting for.
- schwab002, on 10/13/2007, -2/+5Except for their stances on the war, Kucinich and Paul have almost nothing in common.
- pintomp3, on 10/13/2007, -2/+5you're right, AIPAC has bought most of them.
- rpfsc, on 10/13/2007, -1/+4Good idea Vtech.. America doesn't need any of Israel's innovations also, like the cell phone developed by Motorola in Israel, or much of Windows NT, programmed in Israel, or the Pentium/Centrino, designed in Israel. Instant messaging owes its roots to ICQ, developed in Israel. Medical innovations include injestible cameras and treatments for glaucoma and Parkinson's. Plus we don't need those Patriot missiles to defend our troops, because the Israelis helped with those also...
- cokobware, on 10/13/2007, -1/+4Lieberman is not treading water using his gavel as a floatation device. One can wield power just as effectively by NOT doing anything meaningful. IMHO, he's not lazy or wasting his time, he's doing a great job by protecting this administration in not doing the oversight job he said he was going to do. The only trouble with this is that he is screwing over the American people by doing this. I don't think it's right, but he certainly is being very effective being a protector of the current government and wasteful spending.
- xxiao, on 10/13/2007, -6/+8Please go home and leave us alone, Mr. Lieberman. One-way ticket to Israel is on sale now.
- pintomp3, on 10/13/2007, -1/+3just like many much of the electorate, matthew720 has no idea what the candidates stand for. kucinich and gravel have a lot in common, paul stands on the opposite end when it comes to things like abortion, gay rights, and healthcare.
- tschau, on 10/14/2007, -4/+6I'm very happy about the Nobel Prize, but seriously... what the hell was he thinking picking this terrible person as his running mate?
Gore/Obama 08!
(yeah, probably not.) - inactive, on 10/14/2007, -2/+3@rpfsc Egypt gets the money as long as they play nice with Israel (and nobody cares what they do to Egyptians). Israel gets it because it's Israel.
- fsjonsey, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1In b4 money grubbing kikes.....
I cant believe what i read here, wasn't the holocaust only 60 some years ago? Have we forgot already? - haroldk, on 10/13/2007, -1/+2The anti semites are out in force today.
- masterm1nd, on 10/13/2007, -2/+3I think he meant to be a one size fits all anti-semite.
- headt0thebunker, on 10/13/2007, -2/+3No doubt we can all count on you for the truth though?
- Matthew720, on 10/13/2007, -2/+3Not that nonsense again. "You're either with us or you're against us" bullcrap.
In case it hasn't occurred to you one can speak up against Israel and against AIPAC, which is a pro-Israel lobby, without being anti-Semitic. But, I guess that's too difficult to understand, or perhaps you find that tactic works best when you scare people by threatening to label them "anti-Semitic". Which is it? - rpfsc, on 10/13/2007, -2/+3I don't hear people speaking out against Italy for every time Rudy Giuliani makes the news. I also don't hear people speaking out against Africa every time Barack Obama makes the news. But I know every time I see Sen. Lieberman's name in the title of a Digg article, I'll be reading plenty of anti-Israel tirades. I think that's a bit anti-Semitic.
- juventusc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Let's abolish the Electoral College
http://digg.com/political_opinion/Let_s_abolish_th ... - fsjonsey, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1The antisemitism level is OVER 9000!
- fsjonsey, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1Because investigating Talk radio bias is something the senate needs to waste time on... Waxman is a puppet for Soros and the far left.
- fsjonsey, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1The southern cross in your avatar pretty much sums up most of this thread.
- facewarts, on 10/13/2007, -1/+2The democrat smear machine at work. Joe Lieberman out foxed them and they'll never forget it !
LOL - fsjonsey, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1some of the comments here sure are though.
- fsjonsey, on 10/13/2007, -1/+1Gotta love the antisemitism in this thread. And remember, to the nutjobs, Neocon is code word for Jew.
- fsjonsey, on 10/15/2007, -1/+1You are a ***** delusional moron.
- TheSwashbuckler, on 10/13/2007, -2/+2Being anti-Lieberman is not being anti-Semitic...
- vckeating, on 10/13/2007, -1/+1I'll never forget the great Colbert Report segment. Waxman FTW!
- Monk22, on 10/13/2007, -1/+1who doesnt want a water park with a wave pool.
- rpfsc, on 10/13/2007, -3/+3AIPAC is an American organization with most members from the American Jewish community. So did you mean to slander Jews in the US or Jews in Israel?
- rpfsc, on 10/13/2007, -3/+3We give them a substantial sum of money for the same reason we give Egypt the same amount. It was negotiated into the Camp David Accords, signed by Pres. Jimmy Carter.
- Matthew720, on 10/13/2007, -4/+3When you agree with it it's news, when you disagree it's spam. We get it. Reality has a liberal bias. Get a clue.
- inactive, on 10/15/2007, -2/+1Yeah, that's what we need -- more hearings. At least it keeps Congress out of my pocket.
- tb0n3r, on 10/13/2007, -3/+1The USA Today article was just about Waxman. CrooksAndLiars used it as a contrast to Joe Lieberman, who doesn't do anything that he should be doing.
- reed311, on 10/13/2007, -7/+5Al Gore should have his Nobel Prize revoked for having this guy as his running mate.
- Matthew720, on 10/14/2007, -7/+5Dugg down for actually thinking Obama is a decent choice for America. Kucinich or Ron Paul is more like it.
- Observant1, on 10/13/2007, -4/+2LIE-berman and ISREALI leaders have one thing in common for sure.. they are NAZI's posing as JEWS ready to scream "youre anti-semitic" the moment you disagree with their policies. Steven Speilberg was spelling it out for us plain as day, who was Indiana Jones running from in Isreal and Egypt? NAZI's who had, and still have, control in that part of the world. many MANY NAZI's were brought into the US after WW2 with operation paperclip to give us NASA, all NAZI rocket scientists. they also brought the "social engineers" and propaganda artists to advise our so called leaders how to seize more power and total control. IBM had a lot to do with tattooing the people in the concentration camps. Isreal just recently threatened to cut off the water to their concentration camp with over 1.4 million people in it, where they put the people when they stole their land. Isreal was a name they plucked out of the bible just to confuse people from many religions. LIE-berman, ISREAL, theyre despicable NAZI's posing as JEWS!
- Matthew720, on 10/13/2007, -4/+1Nicely done, guys. How nice of you to presume that you know me. "Much of the electorate". Just because I think either Kucinich or Ron Paul are viable in their own special ways, doesn't mean I don't know what each stands for. Get a clue.
- Matthew720, on 10/14/2007, -4/+1Show me where I said they have something in common?
- tschau, on 10/13/2007, -5/+2wow... simply stunning. (R-Israel) is the most clever thing I've seen all day.
- masterm1nd, on 10/13/2007, -4/+1Suicidal Tendencies? Let me guess, you're also an American who supports al qaeda? Ohh, and for the record, I'm a libtard from cuba.
- rpfsc, on 10/13/2007, -10/+6Would you like to substantiate your remark that Israel bought Sen. Lieberman? Do you have to turn a reasonable debate on the role of ethics oversight in Congress and change it into a an anti-Semitic, anti-Israel rant?
- horatiolust, on 10/13/2007, -6/+2Oh boy - the Neo-Nazi Digg-nuts are out in force this afternoon
