12 Year Old Girl Tells the Truth on Fox News about Georgia. Fox News even had to cut them off right in the middle of the account of Georgian aggression even though they had just come from a commercial break 2 minutes prior to that. ***** Fox News and corporate media do not want the truth out.

Ossetian Woman: "I want you to know, to whom to blame in this conflict. It is Mr. Saakashvili who started this war, and Mr. Saakashvili who is aggressor, and my people were killed and bombed by him and over 2,000 people were killed in one day..."
Shepard Smith: "Uh, I would never cut you off but we have to go to commercial in 4 seconds..."
Ossetian Woman: "Yes I know, I know you don't want to hear that..." - blogoster, on 08/15/2008, -6/+199I think Americans should hear both sides and make their own opinion, not only one-side promotion. It's not fair with respect to all Americans.
- Kombaiyashii, on 08/15/2008, -16/+165LOL does anyone apart from the mainstream media actually believe Russia actually started this one?
- richmomz, on 08/15/2008, -23/+171Wow, and I thought the old Soviet propaganda machine was bad (Fox News could give Pravda a run for its money any day).
Here is another good one from yesterday - Survivors of the S. Ossetia massacre, a 12-year old girl and her aunt, recount their experience on Fox News. Shepard Smith calls the girl a hero, but when her aunt points out that Saakashvili is to blame for the destruction she is abruptly cut off: http://digg.com/politics/Fox_News_12_Year_Old_Girl ...

- dato62, on 08/15/2008, -10/+116OMG! In the name of Democracy )
- Patrikc325, on 08/15/2008, -14/+108CNN had it's camera taken away and a gun pointed at the crew by soldiers. The report did not say which side the soldiers acting badly were on but you could see the Georgian patch on the uniforms. This is another example of one sided reporting we are experiencing.
- richmomz, on 08/15/2008, -7/+79The media doesn't want you to make up your own mind. They want to tell you what to think and support the agenda of their owners.
- 1drey, on 08/15/2008, -10/+73just brilliant! "we lost a signal" :)
- inactive, on 08/15/2008, -11/+69That SO classic! Something right out of Orwell novel or something....Quite sure they lost their feed unintentially...Hope no one spilled their cup of coffee in their rush to pull the plug!
- ashwinmudigonda, on 08/15/2008, -7/+54I don't know man, I feel for the Georgians, but their prez was the one who went slinking on the sly and triggered the monster. Now, he is whining as if it was Russia's fault. And I really don't know with what moral turpitude Rice, Bush and Co. can even utter one word, forget their threats. How can they talk? At least Russia defended its own border and protected its own ethnic people and is just pointing guns. The McBushers executed a sovereign country's leader under false premises and refuse to leave.
- thetooon, on 08/15/2008, -23/+70Идиоты, блеядь! :-)

- GovernmentSp00k, on 08/15/2008, -14/+57TV is a joke. Does anyone really take their poop seriously anymore? Whoops the feed went dead! Hey it can happen. Anything is possible in this propagandized "coincidence" of a world we live in. Soon "they" will assimilate and control the Internet too. Only a matter of time. The controlled news would never do TV fakery on 9/11 either that's just out of the question! They are a beacon of ethical journalism and trust giving citizens the full honest story 100% so we can be empowered and informed to the truth and hear both sides. LOL! What a fantasy huh. They would never think of doctoring video footage either. Only Iran does such things for political gain, photo shops fake missiles in place of real ones, utilizes TV fakery and manipulates TV footage to market their political agenda right...
- Kenzan, on 08/15/2008, -5/+48I think Americans should stay the hell out of it.
- Brenden105, on 08/15/2008, -3/+46Thats a Canadian TV station CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) Newsworld so I don't know why they are taging this as CNN, MSNBC, FOX,

- scy1192, on 08/15/2008, -8/+45This broadcast was from CBC, and CBC is Canadian *facepalm*
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CBC_Newsworld - LeeSoong, on 08/15/2008, -7/+43No matter how the USA media spins it, the facts are out there on 100 other countries networks.
The USA can not complain about Russia responding to the Georgian Aggression while still deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
But coincidentally, this event will increase Russian oil profits and increase the price of oil slightly too.
A cynic would see this as a quite profitable capitalist conflict. Maybe even a cooperative play by the oil barons on both sides of the ocean ?
Don't kid yourself Georgia, you've been played the fool just like Iraq and Saddam Hussein - the USA favorite against Iran - until he got hanged.
The USA puffed up Georgia with so called 'support' - until their leaders believed their own B.S. and could take on the Russian Army. The Russian's put the slap down on Georgia, and could have crushed the capital city, too.
Georgia president Mikheil Saakashvili should not expect any better treatment from the USA than the treatment Saddam Hussein got. Dinners and handshakes one year, and a man hunt and death sentence another year...
Russia and USA have Billions of dollars invested in each others industries and developments. The Georgia conflict will be profitable for many American companies and Russian companies too. But BP takes a bit of a loss with the oil pipeline shutdown.
Georgia should realize the big boys don't show any favors for the small time players.
Ron Paul predicted this even in 2002:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ya6JfFK_lYQ - algaeturd, on 08/15/2008, -14/+50The day and age we live in is embarrassing. You can't even get the truth from the media at all and nobody gives a *****. Everyone walks around paranoid because they can't trust anyone anymore and it falls on the individual to find the real truth.
Except the FOXheads who don't seem to mind walking around in an idiot haze not caring about what's really going on.
WE HAVE CROSSED THE THRESHOLD in history
where there are NO mainstream media outlets left that even try to be sly about lying. They just report what the corporations/adminsitration tells them to report and that, my friends, is the ultimate in propaganda that will create an atmosphere where nobody trusts nobody. People already don't trust the government. Allow them to distrust the media and we're one step further towards the whole facade crumbling. - sphira, on 08/15/2008, -14/+48I bet they did loose their line -
Puppet masters ! - BESTenemy, on 08/15/2008, -1/+35The strategy did work with Iraq ties to 9/11, didn't it?
- whofarted, on 08/15/2008, -4/+34In 2004, Tim Russert was interviewing Colin Powell via satellite and Russert was cut off because of a question he asked about Powell's lying to the UN about the Iraq threat back in 2003.
I remember it. It was bizarre. Someone off camera said something like "you're off" or "shut it off" when the question came through and the interview was cut off. To his credit, Powell got the cameras back on and continued the interview.
The problem is that there are no consequences for these actions, so they keep on happening. - inactive, on 08/15/2008, -5/+34You spend too much time on the internet. If they'd do a survey of clear channel listeners, you'd be appalled.
- swrostmore, on 08/15/2008, -4/+31Some photographs on the ground in South Ossetia:
http://digg.com/world_news/Photo_Essay_Russian_Arm ...
No political slant, just objective reporting from the scene. - inactive, on 08/15/2008, -5/+31But it's a fact based issue. And the fact is, Georgia started the conflict.
- zbor, on 08/16/2008, -2/+28For a balanced look that doesn't buy into either Russian or Georgian propaganda, take a look at (and digg up!) this article from Reason:
http://digg.com/world_news/The_Triumph_of_Putinism ...
The Georgians shouldn't have invaded South Ossetia, and the Russians shouldn't have set a trap in the first place. Both sides are wrong. Diggers, get over your binary obsession and look a little deeper into the issue, please! - Makaveli, on 08/15/2008, -20/+43***** Faux news should be taken off the air for all the ***** they've done in the past
- MacEnvy, on 08/15/2008, -2/+25Why hasn't that been front paged? It's only been a day since submission and it's got over 600 diggs ... who would be burying it that much? The link itself is relatively innocuous, so what's going on here?
I hate it when things seem fishy. Is there a bury brigade thing going on, or is digg holding it back? 1 day submission with over 600 diggs, l regardless of how "varied" the users are, should be on the front page. - inactive, on 08/15/2008, -11/+34I find amazing how Rice can say Russia over reacted after the planes got shot down, by starting a war. How is it any different from us going to iraq?? How dare they treat russia like the bad guy here. We are going to keep "slapping russia" in the face with our actions until russia kicks our ass. I wish we would stop really, we shouldn't of flown the georgia troops , and we shouldn't put missiles in poland
- richmomz, on 08/15/2008, -4/+26My bad, looks like someone just beat me to the above reference comment. Digg me down if you will.
- letierri, on 08/15/2008, -0/+22Translation: Idiots, for ***** sake! :-)
- WaFFeL54, on 08/15/2008, -13/+35The sad thing is is that most americans blindly believe their "leaders"...
- scy1192, on 08/15/2008, -1/+22this isn't from Fox News, it's from CBC Newsworld, owned by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
- monkeyrun, on 08/15/2008, -4/+22Saakashvili's plan would've been a lot more successful if his Georgian soldiers could just stop shooting at US reporters.
It's hard to gain support when they pissed off the main propaganda network (FOX News). - inactive, on 08/15/2008, -11/+29I THINK AMERICA SHOULD JUST SHUT THE F*CK UP FOR ONCE
jeez go fu*k your self and leave other nations alone. you arrogant pricks. - Billistic, on 08/15/2008, -4/+22Hey,
You guys all know that Bush and and friends caged the vote right? You guys know there's a media blackout on this ***** right?
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3954858769 ...
So when are you all going to get off your asses and do something about it? - SirBloody, on 08/15/2008, -0/+17first one means "idiots, *****! (roughly)" second one is "oh yes *****" and 3rd one is "happy birthday"
- inactive, on 08/16/2008, -2/+18The double standard in the US media is unbelievable. I'm not saying that Russia is fighting the good war, I'm saying that if the US media is going to condemn Russia they must condemn the US government actions too.
I personally I'm little bit scared, this could set precedent for another war with Russia in the long term... - BESTenemy, on 08/15/2008, -3/+19 Repeat a lie a 100 times and you'll fall asleep faster than if you were counting sheep.
- funkyloki, on 08/15/2008, -0/+16The reporting of the news is no longer about truth; it is about selling ad space. It's all infotainment now. And whatever they have to "report" to keep you glued to the set, they will, regardless of its authenticity.
- Makaveli, on 08/15/2008, -3/+18props regardless
it can't ever be said enough
everybody needs to hear it over and over again for it to sink into their god damned heads - rabidjester, on 08/15/2008, -1/+16Someone get this man a free internet!
- inactive, on 08/15/2008, -1/+14in English please :)
- ZZeke, on 08/15/2008, -4/+17If the US wasn't involved already, this would have never happened in the first place.
- bduddy, on 08/16/2008, -0/+13Because they've already decided they don't like those three networks, and they don't want the actual facts getting in the way. How ironic...
- SocialPoison, on 08/15/2008, -0/+12Translations?
