The result will be a Democrat lawyer who has trouble keeping track of records or another Democrat lawyer who has trouble keeping records.Without a doubt they will have the Democrat Party split and fractured possibly beyond repair.
On the Republican side we have two George Bush clones and the champion of the Constitution.
Some say the election is over.
I say they have yet to see where it is going.
All of the stuff Ron Paul predicted would happen is happening.
People around the world are dumping dollars and our buying power decreases by the day. The fed and the prez decided that giving away borrowed dollars from the government will fix it. Everyone who gets it will have their own use for it and most will go to paying off existing debt.
This will not create any real movement in the economy and our dollars will buy less the day after.
One man has the economic credibility and expertise to guide us away from the impending collapse.
Will we be wise enough to elect him?
I hope so. - inactive, on 02/18/2008, -2/+11The Big Media and the elite know the power of the Self-Fulfilling Prophecy. That's why they TELL us what to believe so that we will accept it as fact and carry out our thoughts and actions accordingly. What we have to do to counter this subconscious mind control is to STAY POSITIVE!
Ron Paul can't win because the Media said so? SHUT UP YOU IGNORANT SHEEP! You're bringing people down! - Kent4jmj, on 02/18/2008, -4/+13"1. The Republican nominee is chosen at the national convention and the national convention only.
That is why they have a convention.
Despite everything the media will pound you with saying John McCain is the Republican candidate, you have to remember that such a statement is BS until the Republican convention is over. Eight months of John McCain talk... people are going to get sick of it. That's the blowback for every state moving up its primary/caucus date." - badmedia, on 02/18/2008, -0/+8The congressional thing is over in like 2 weeks tho. I think they vote on March 4th.
- thecoolestguy, on 02/19/2008, -0/+6The energy behind the Ron Paul movement has the potential to make it the most powerful force in American politics, and it will only increase as the internet becomes more important.
- inactive, on 02/19/2008, -0/+3When you boil it down to its essence this election will be about war. Those who think we have spent enough money and lives in foreign lands not worth a drop of American blood will vote for the only candidate who will end the warmongering, Ron Paul.
If Americans could care less about a hundred soldiers a month being killed in Iraq alone we will get a lawyer or a neocon.
If we as a people are sick of the cost of running an empire and perpetual war, we will elect Ron Paul.
There were eleven. Now there are three.
One will be the nominee at the convention. - RansomHoldiay, on 02/18/2008, -3/+6he is putting a lot more effort into ensuring his reelection to congress, and putting the presidential race on the back burners.

No Digg - idiggmacs, on 02/19/2008, -0/+2I read a post about a study that concluded when 1 person repeats his/her opinion often and loudly, everyone else in the group believes that everyone else MUST feel the same way, even though they actually don't. This human characteristic is what the corporate media relies on to manipulate public opinion. Don't fall into this trap. Don't believe that EVEYONE must feel the same way just because the corporate media says so. We don't.
- Hortnon, on 02/19/2008, -1/+3If a person in political power told you they were doing what's best for you, would you believe it?
- thecoolestguy, on 02/20/2008, -0/+2What's racist is claiming to have a god given right to have military stationed in the middle east and propping up tyrants like the Saudi royal family and oppressive nations like Israel.
This newsletter thing is the mouse the media focuses on to distract from giant murderous elephant of racism that is US foreign policy. - inactive, on 02/19/2008, -2/+4Once again for the slow learners. Ron Paul has come out strongly against racism. Those who bring up that charge know it has been disproven, discredited and is laughable.
Clearly Ron Paul has the most integrity of any candidate, has more expertise in foreign policy and macroeconomics than any candidate and will win the election if nominated because Americans have learned that lawyers suck as president. - foontala, on 02/20/2008, -0/+1Are you afraid of the big bad terrorist? I'm not, so the answer to your question is no.
- foontala, on 02/19/2008, -2/+3I think you are libeling him. Send a source.
- foontala, on 02/19/2008, -2/+3Why not? Define "we" in "we know"
If the TV told you to jump off a bridge and vote for McCain, would you do it? - inactive, on 02/19/2008, -2/+2Here's a cite. It was published in the 1992 Ron Paul Report.

http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2007/5/15/124912 ... - inactive, on 02/19/2008, -2/+2It took Ron Paul **YEARS** to even react to those statements that were PUBLISHED IN HIS NAME. Now that's leadership!! Is there a crisis!?? I'll get back to you in 10 or 15 years.
- Hortnon, on 02/19/2008, -4/+3Both of you fail at reading. They were published in his name; This is common knowledge.
- wampeter, on 02/18/2008, -8/+7Seriously guys? Saying that Ron Paul can still win is like saying that if you drop 100 pennies, they can all land heads up... It is "possible", but we know it ain't gonna happen...
- inactive, on 02/18/2008, -6/+2If you want to see an example of TRULY WEAK LEADERSHIP, look at how Ron Paul responded to the RACIST articles published in his name. For example, "Given the inefficiencies of what DC laughingly calls the criminal justice system, I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal."
