- Naturegal, on 10/11/2007, -3/+28Well, according to GOP logic, this means the GOP are cowards. Because if they can't find the courage to face the NAACP, then they'll never be able to face and defeat Al Qaeda.
- RobertP, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12It just puts to rest the whole idea that Republicans care about minority issues. This is THE forum to talk about minority issues.
- ajb2015, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11where is ron paul
- andyj2287, on 10/11/2007, -4/+12Imagine if a Democrat had done this... even one candidate, never mind all 8 of them.
- cweathers, on 10/11/2007, -7/+14If I stood with the Supreme Court justices that virtually overturned Brown vs. Board of Education, I would not want to show my face to the NAACP.
- Ozymandias42, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8No, the NAACP isn't racist because it doesn't believe that any one race is genetically superior to any other race.
- FGFM, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8What's racist about the NAACP, genius?
- HughManBeing, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Bush is a wanker. IMPEACH HIM & Cheney!!!
- topaz7, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Got you covered.
- TexMurphy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6"Republicans can't find the courage to face the NAACP, then they'll never be able to face and defeat Al Qaeda."
Republican party has been taken over by far right wing cowards. - FGFM, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7If the GOP has anything to offer the black electorate, you'd think that a few of their candidates would like to make their case directly!
- ronaldinho, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6OF COURSE the Republicans want our attention onto David Beckham's arrival......he's white! WOOO!
- helouise, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Showing their true "colors" - GOP should change their party colors from red to white! as a poster earlier said, despite their spin, the GOP doesn't even try to pretend to give a s-t about non whites.
- rberger909, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Hahaha suuuccchhhh a good response. I'd digg it twice if a could. Great job turning the Republican spin line against them!
- nevesis, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4haha. you should bite the bullet and get a rush-esque conservative radio show. you obviously have the thought process down. you'd make millions.
- FGFM, on 10/11/2007, -5/+8And exactly how was this a racist event?
- vanadium77, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4From DailyKOS: "Update [2007-7-13 12:32:59 by Jeffrey Feldman]: - Be sure to Digg the post--Digg.com broadcasts topics like this to a very wide audience... "
Wait, now... Where are all the people that were bitching about sites encouraging people to digg posts up? - 0ceanic, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3and in order to make it identify with more republicans. youd have to reword it to something like,
if them pussies cant even fight a ***** they wont be able to hang a sand *****.
(im not a black. im not racist, but republicans are.) - barrimon, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4If you didn't already get it, here's' the lesson: If the GOP don't give a s**t about you, they don't show up.
NAACP Debate... Katrina... TBD - M3RCINIAN, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3If you didn't remember, he's a republican.
- Kelgann, on 10/11/2007, -6/+8Guys, the NAACP isn't racist because they aren't white! Get with the times!
(Please, Digg, I beg of you, don't make me put /sarcasm after every sarcastic post I make. This is the last time. You have been notified.) - backInUrHugBox, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3AW YEAH BABY! TANCREEEEEDO 2008! WOOEEE!
- piker62, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3This beats the "Bush can't open the exit door" and "press conference in front of a cemetary" photo ops by miles.
- barrimon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Great philosophy. Your kind aren't likely to vote for me so F U.
- mynamis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I thought republicans and Ron Paul especially had more integrity to work together for common goals and get their message out to viable voters. I guessed wrong.
- ajb2015, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1um.....obviously. most of digg seems to treat ron paul as a hero, yet he can't show up to speak in front of the NAACP. I would have expected him to be the exception.
- arTech, on 10/11/2007, -4/+5I accidentally gave a KKK member here thumbs up. I wish I can pay to take it back.
- Big1984Brother, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The article says "All 9 Republican candidates were invited". All N I N E candidates? I've watched all 3 GOP debates which have thus far been held, and if my memory serves me correctly there were TEN candidates up on the stage at each of these events. Which candidate did the NAACP forget to invite?
- diablo75, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1"He" is Ron Paul. I meant for this reply to be for a different post... multitasking at it's finest, right?
- diablo75, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1He was taking a tour of the Google complex, as he was invited around July 6th by Google to visit and give a speech. He has a rally going on Today (Saturday, July 14) in the same city. The article linked here also states that, "The excuses given by the Republican campaigns mostly had to do with scheduling conflicts--just too busy to make it."
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1One area is their desire for hiring quotas through so-called "affirmative action".
The NAACP has NO place wanting to keep a white man out of a job because a black man wants it, even when the black man doesn't have better credentials.
The NAACP is about reverse discrimination, not equal Rights.
And let's not even talk about their efforts to disarm blacks with their support for gun control. Blacks need to remember that only their enemies want to disarm them. And the NAACP is most definitely not their friends in this regards. - seamusfurr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0*duh*, candidates don't go to the NAACP forum to attract votes. They go to get on TV showing that they're comfortable with people who live outside their golf club community. They go to prove that they can speak with a diverse audience. The GOP chumps failed.
- garrett51, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I have to admit I was surprised when Ron Paul didn't show up. I'm sure every one had advance notice and busy schedules. They made their choices of what was most important. Only Tancredo. That is sad, sad, sad.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2But they are racist in other areas, like "affirmative action" and gun control.
- mchammer, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1they're not cowards the NAACP is useless in todays world.... i wouldn't show up either and i am black.....
- stroebele, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0I guess I didn't realize the justices were running for office
- wtbuser, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1NAACP is racist. It identifies people as groups and not individuals. It exists solely because of race, enacts racist laws and reverse-racist policies. We are not a collective, we are individuals and we should be treated as such. We should be treated entirely equal under the law, any thing different is unconstitutional.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Thank you for covering my back...that is exactly what I was meaning.
- TheNapalm, on 10/11/2007, -5/+3umm everything
- 15charmaxwtf, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2Because they are looking at people as groups, not as individuals.
- turnthepage, on 10/11/2007, -11/+7*duh* 90% of African Americans vote democrat, and 98% of the NAACP members vote democrat. Race is irrelevant. It's about cost/vote ratio.
- insomniac8400, on 10/11/2007, -17/+8I actually give credit to those that didn't show up. Why would we want a candidate tied to a racist organization?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -22/+6Yea right....People who don't want to, or don't have time to, show up at a racist event are themselves racist.
I get it.

What is Digg?
