- ganymede2010, on 01/28/2008, -1/+48Being a native Californian, I can tell you that this is HUGE! No Democrat in CA has ever won the nomination without the CTU's support.
- ZenMojo, on 01/28/2008, -1/+41So Clinton organized a mutiny in Nevada...and now there's a mutiny in California AGAINST her? BWAHAHAHAHA!
- prthealien, on 01/28/2008, -7/+38// Does the comment in the middle of the title bother anyone else?
- Moskie, on 01/28/2008, -0/+28No, it still compiles.
- rumplestiltz, on 01/28/2008, -1/+28This is HUGE
- R3miel7, on 01/28/2008, -1/+27More power to Obama! The CTA's underhanded attempt to endorse Hilldog before anyone would notice is exactly what Ive come to expect from everything even related to the Clinton run at presidency. Makes me sick.
- br0ck, on 01/28/2008, -4/+26According to your logic, Ron Paul has Nevada brothels advising his campaign! They endorsed him, so they must be advising him right? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21973236/
In other words, Zbigniew Brzezinski, is NOT Obama's campaign adviser! He endorsed him, but and endorsement doesn't mean Obama has to listen to him, or even acknowledge him. - shanehonda, on 05/19/2009, -0/+20It's really happening now and picking up serious steam... this is amazing!
- ZenMojo, on 01/28/2008, -4/+22Obama's 8 points behind in Cali, that's less than half the difference from last week and BEFORE the Kennedy endorsement. If previous history is any hint, he's going to overtake her.
- Ranvier, on 01/28/2008, -0/+17Or a few other languages?
- runxctry, on 01/29/2008, -1/+16Score a big behind the scenes victory for Obama’s California campaign today. Word is leaking out that CTA’s membership staged an outright mutiny at Los Angeles’ Bonaventure Hotel and bucked its own Board’s attempt to railroad through an early endorsement for Hillary. CTA’s elites apparently got a big wake up call when their effort to crown Hillary as the official choice of California’s teachers was upended by overwhelming resistance from rank and file Obama supporters. The vaunted pre Feb 5th CTA endorsement – which was widely expected to go Clinton’s way – appears to now be postponed to April (when we will all be on the edge of our seats, I am sure).
The Hillary repudiation at CTA is more than just inside baseball. This could portend an erosion of support among powerful constituencies that are supposed to be the bedrock of Clinton’s California operation. Add this development with Obama’s superior California ground game, and a big bounce coming out of South Carolina, and he may have enough steam to pull off a victory in the Golden state. - diggstar1, on 01/28/2008, -9/+23CRY again....Bitch!
- inactive, on 01/28/2008, -0/+12From your own link:
"In 1990 Brzezinski warned against post–Cold War euphoria. He publicly opposed the Gulf War, arguing that the U.S. would squander the international goodwill it had accumulated by defeating the Soviet Union and that it could trigger wide resentment throughout the Arab world. He expanded upon these views in his 1992 work Out of Control." - inactive, on 01/28/2008, -2/+14OMG what a scandal! Amnesty International! Those sick fascists who try to protect the human rights of victims of fascism and totalitarian states? How dare he. Trying to protect the human rights of humans regardless of their ethnicity, race, or country of origin!
Well at least he didn't devote his life to world peace... That would be just too much to take in one day. - inactive, on 01/28/2008, -1/+12Lol, as I said, he predicted everything with great accuracy. Every single one of the things he said happened.
This was about America vs Russia. An entirely different context. He wanted America to fight the invasion of the middle-east by Russia. Not America to invade the middle-east simply to occupy it. You have to put a text like that in its historical context.
He wasn't calling for a military invasion of the middle-east and that text has nothing to do with the gulf war. He was talking about forming an alliance in the Middle-East.
Sorry, but look it up, you just won't find anyone that would ever call Brzezinski a war mongerer. He opposed to all wars that weren't the result of a direct threat.
And if the country had actually listened to him, 911 wouldn't have happened and America wouldn't be in Iraq right now. You're talking about a man who advised Carter during his efforts to bring peace between palestine and Israel FFS. - Tiak, on 01/28/2008, -0/+10Being linked to Amnesty International and Freedom House are now ad hominem attacks?... What the *****?
- kopf1988, on 01/28/2008, -4/+14Use Java too much?
- vann, on 01/29/2008, -0/+9Obama's education plan is probably the most ambitious among the candidates. In addition to the boilerplate "more money, better schools" type stuff he supports a fairer, more equitable system, including some kind of performance-based pay system for teachers.
- inactive, on 01/28/2008, -1/+10For those of you who are wondering what he is talking about, I demonstrated that chouch's justification of Israel was racism and demonstrated that Israel was guilty of crimes a war and crimes against humanity since 1967 by showing him all the documents related to this affirmation, about a week ago.
He's been following me around ever since. - inactive, on 01/28/2008, -1/+10Keep trying chouch, one day you'll come up with an actual argument. I believe in you, little racist oppressor.
- inactive, on 01/28/2008, -1/+10My profile history contains not a single racist or ethnic attack about anyone.
"lol try buying a house from an arab, they'll say the deal is fake and want the property back. thats why they video tape it now."
- you. - inactive, on 01/28/2008, -1/+10You're doing a pretty good job at embarrassing yourself as it is, I don't need to help. You're crying about an argument you lost a week ago in a completely unrelated post. Just doing so demonstrates that you're a common imbecile.
I got a quote for you: "I'm sorry [...] I retract my comment"
- You. - vann, on 01/29/2008, -1/+9The Obama campaign made over 190k calls on Saturday alone here in CA. We're working hard to win this state, and anything less than a decisive win by Clinton cannot be spun given that only a few months ago she was something like 20 points ahead.
- sesshin, on 01/29/2008, -0/+8Thats because the Republican race is about as interesting as paint drying. The media covers where the ratings are. Its not a liberal or conservative bias, its a "whats will people watch" bias.
- mythicflux, on 01/28/2008, -0/+8To answer your question: Digg fixed its algorithm. (Note I'm not being sarcastic)
- inactive, on 01/28/2008, -1/+9Provide away, little monkey. Show me when I called you a "filthy jew".
To those of you enjoying this humiliation, chouch knows I'm jewish and has called me an anti-semite jew. - relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -0/+8This is really great news. It has been such a great past three days.
- 0xception, on 01/29/2008, -0/+7where'd you get your sneakers? cuz as of late i've been wearing flip flops and i can't get those ***** bears to leave me alone!
- ncairns, on 01/28/2008, -1/+8These people are ***** delusional - they think any organization with more than about ten members must be involved in some sort of massive conspiracy.
- Phisolo, on 01/28/2008, -0/+7Both of these points take into consideration poll numbers. This presidential election cycle has had the worst accuracy for polls determining primary/caucus results. The average accuracy of the polls so far are showing a whopping 17% margin of error.
We American are being particularly hard to pin down this cycle. - HalfGiraffe, on 01/29/2008, -0/+7Perhaps it's because the Democratic race this time is far more interesting. The Republicans have only been able to field a few of the usual drones: Rudy? Romney? Huckabee? Mcain? What a snorefest.
- pfeester, on 01/29/2008, -1/+7...poor little Rethug.
- Ubermensch423, on 01/29/2008, -1/+7Enough with spreading these slanderous, racist rumors. Here is the truth with many sources cited:

I suggest being more careful who you get your news from. - strikertp, on 01/29/2008, -0/+5Hell if we're going to stereotype let's make it go all the way. Every privately educated child I have ever met has been spoiled, arrogant, and have never worked an honest day in their life because they coasted on their father's coattails.
Gee isn't this fun? Get off your high horse you elitist prick. - inactive, on 01/28/2008, -8/+13He didn't write a blueprint of anything. He predicted Iraq just like he predicted the international competition to imperialism between Russia and the US in 1964 (Political Power: USA USSR, fantastic insight).
Brzezinski is a genius. Articles he wrote:

I really don't like Obama because I think he's just another PR whore that has no backbone and stands for absolutely nothing. He's man of non-principle. Just another soulless bureaucrat that says nice things on TV while smiling in order to appeal to the lowest common denominator and has no intention of actually doing anything other than pretend like Bush never happened.
However, Brzezinski is a genius and never called for war, just predicted them with amazing accuracy and astonishing intelligence. If there's anything Obama did right, it's getting this guy on his team. - fasda, on 01/28/2008, -0/+5if you thought that wall of text was a good idea your insane but in one or two quotes next time.
- pfeester, on 01/29/2008, -0/+5...are you even anywhere close to aware of what is going on? Doctor, more lithium!
- inactive, on 01/28/2008, -1/+6Failed again. Seriously, it must really suck to keep failing everytime you open your mouth. I admire your tenacity.
Tells us more about Arabs, chouch. - inactive, on 01/28/2008, -2/+7Probably the same as the rest, lies, you digging yourself up, your psychotic attitude or maybe just a general lack of intelligence. In all reality, I don't even care. I suppose one of your other personnalities will show up now, as they always do when you get dugg down into oblivion.
- qwerter, on 01/29/2008, -0/+4Do you get dugg down every time you say that?
- ncairns, on 01/29/2008, -1/+5When are you people going to cut the propaganda?

http://xymphora.blogspot.com/2006/05/scaife-judici ... - neocognitism, on 01/29/2008, -1/+5I dunno, I really really hope so, but there are just so many powerful forces that do not want Obama.
Like just in this thread, I notice quite a few pro-Israel diggers here purely to bash Obama and cast a pallor over this victory.
It's just gonna get nastier, because the real election is the primary since there's gonna be a dem in the White House. This means big $ and power to these people and they won't take this acting like a regular citizen -- they're gonna do everything money can buy to stop Obama.
That said, GO OBAMA GO! - Gerz1219, on 01/29/2008, -0/+4And you don't think political organizations should have an opinion because... ?
- neocognitism, on 01/29/2008, -1/+5Hey Chouch! I want to be your friend too!
Check out this story I submitted to GIYUS.ORG, did you see it listed in Megaphone?

One last thing -- be careful with the antigentilism, it exudes from your pores.
ElAssoWipo - check out my submissions. - birdly, on 01/29/2008, -1/+5He funded Bin Laden? If you pay taxes, so did you, you smooth typing puppet.
- DimensionalPunk, on 01/29/2008, -0/+4Congratulations!! You're a bigot!!
/We're not, so ***** off - scottc, on 01/29/2008, -0/+3It looks like in your rush to get your "facts straight" you cut out a very important qualifier to your quote:
"Those numbers are virtually unchanged from the last CNN survey conducted two weeks ago.
But it should be pointed out that more than 80 percent of the respondents were questioned before Obama's rout of Clinton and Edwards in Saturday's South Carolina primary. Those results could shift numbers in California and elsewhere."
