Our currency is devalued by the fed and that led to the inflation crisis which resulted in homeowners on the edge to sink. Had the dollar remained stable it is likely most of those homeowners would have been able to meet their obligations.
    If Spitzer really wanted to stop predatory lending his op-ed piece was about seven years too late.
  • BoDeeDoe, on 03/21/2008, -0/+2I agree and I am really no fan of Spitzer. I just feel this illustrates how the elite keep their minions in line. All politicians have dirt on them. One doesn't ascend to power without the means of removal. Spitzer, for whatever reason bit off the hand that fed him.
