How dare we not bow to his message of political hatred....isn't it hypocritical that he is offended we've dared to criticize his speech, and at the same time he dared to criticize us all by making money off the suffering and manipulation of children? Pathetic and beneath contempt, I have to hope the idiot and racist that made those tshirts has to eat every last shirt, and I applaud urban outfitters for, while belatedly, doing the right thing.

- vecia, on 06/11/2008, -0/+1I dont see much death on the tshirt... and I dont think you can compare the palestinians fight to what the Nazis did lol...
Arent you being a *tad* bit extreme? - vecia, on 05/25/2008, -4/+1Can someone please explain to me WHAT is so offensive about that t-shirt???! Its a cause and theres a message. Whether we think its appropriate or not is something totally individual and left to the buyer of said t-shirt. There is WAY too many political problems to make this something of an issue. As we all know, peace in the Middle East just is *not* going to happen the Palestinian (or Arab) way. Being a Westerner in Egypt, its not too hard to understand why.
The West (or back home in the UK at least) is proud of its democratic society. A persons opinion, if it is voiced within reason, is perfectly fine. Just as the t-shirt may strike some of you as 'political hatred' to others it is 'reasonably appropriate' (read: politics IS hatred). I hope people who hitch a ride understand that a t-shirt maker eating his own t-shirts isn't exactly a tactful punishment for someone who was only voicing his freedom of speech!
Just as I am disappointed the man has been 'victimized' for his business, I am also disappointed that we feel a t-shirt with a Palestinian kid and an AK-47 is a 'call to action' yet the real fight is left for the politicians. Wheres your balls?
