There has been ALOT of coverage in the media, plus many people have joined in, and finally there's lots of long-time supporters that plan on maxing out on Sunday. I really hope the website can handle it.
Many forums have discussed sort of organizing our donations according to region. The guys on the west coast could wait a couple of hours so that the eastcoasters can access the site with less danger of crashing it. Also, if you've just donated, please get out of the site quickly to ease the burden. Check out the graphs at ronpaulgraphs.com, dailypaul.com, etc. If you're not from the US, and want to help out, buy some merchandise: get a T-Shirt, a button, his book, etc. These are just general tips the supporters are spreading around in order to better organize the event, they are not my ideas. I thought it was too ambitious, and we would be setting ourselves up for failure, but I made a small donation anyway. Now look where we are! It makes me wonder how far we'll go beyond this goal, and what we'll accomplish in the end. I'm slowly growing more optimistic.
