TPM: Well Known Liberal Blogger Shot In Washington, D.C.

tpmelectioncentral.talkingpoin… — Brian Beutler, a well-known progressive blogger, was shot and seriously injured during a mugging last night in Washington, D.C. One bullet damaged Beutler's spleen, and he had it removed during surgery this morning at the Washington Hospital Center. He's expected to make a "pre-trauma" recovery, which is to say, a completely full recovery.

    Okay, that was in poor taste. But true, nonetheless.

    ...seriously though, this sucks. D.C. is such a problem. It's such a beautiful city, but a sad testament to what happens when Government, even local Government, handles to much of people's lives. Very, very sad.
