- NoDrama, on 03/26/2008, -6/+237She did NOT have sniper relations with that Bosnian.
- PeaceAndJustice, on 03/26/2008, -7/+172Will someone please make her go away? Please, please, please?
- mreal197, on 03/26/2008, -4/+85I wonder if she always says "you know" about 10 times per paragraph when she is lying. I can't tell because I always hear her saying "you know" when she speaks but then again she is always lying, so I don't know if there is correlation there.
- bradbury, on 03/26/2008, -3/+80ahhh, she "misspoke". where "misspoke" = "made up wildly embellished lies that i told over and over again".
- zebraz, on 03/26/2008, -3/+64Give her a break will you.
I have made this same mistake several times.
I was asked how my flight into Heathrow was and I accidently misspoke and said the plane was shot down by alien terrorists.
Easy enough mistake to make. - jbdobd, on 03/26/2008, -2/+56Next its gonna be our fault for misunderstanding her - what she meant was that Miss Spoke was the girl with the flowers who greeted her on the tarmac.
- sobebelushi, on 03/26/2008, -0/+52and Bill mis-poked Monica instead of Hilary
- wonderworm, on 03/26/2008, -2/+43Who hugs and kisses little girls on the tarmack and then repeatedly tells others about the event that you were running and dodging sniper fire!? I mean really, who does that?
It's obviously a personality trait of hers to lie or she is just suffering from Alzheimers ahead of schedule. Either way, I am tired of liars in the Whitehouse and Alzheimers patients should be self explanatory. - BabushkaBlue, on 03/26/2008, -3/+42Here's what troubles me the most. She was BUSTED. She got caught in a gigantic lie. She didn't just lie once. She lied several times and almost everyone on the face of the earth except her rabid followers knows she lied. I wish she'd just tell the truth now that she's become the latest youtube viral video. I can't stand the idea of having another egotistical liar who finds it impossible to admit failure in the White House. She'll be the end of us.
- BrainCore, on 03/26/2008, -4/+43Quote from the article:
"Occasionally, I am a human being like everybody else." - DubYaSee, on 03/26/2008, -3/+41"Mr. (David) Geffen said the Clintons lie “with such ease, it’s troubling” and that the Clinton political operation “is going to be very unpleasant and unattractive and effective.” Mr. Geffen called Mr. Clinton a “reckless guy” who had not changed in the last six years, and suggested that Mrs. Clinton was too scripted."
David Geffen (cofounder of Dreamworks with Spielberg), early last year...the guy is something of a fortune teller - carpespasm, on 03/26/2008, -2/+28Can we preemptively impeach her? I know she wasn't under oath, but still....
- LoveYouSomeEric, on 03/26/2008, -4/+29I don't understand why the media continues to treat someone who is almost universally loathed like she is a serious candidate. Oh wait, it's the same media who continues to treat someone who is almost universally loathed like he is a serious president.
- NoDrama, on 03/26/2008, -1/+25Millions of words a day. Not much of a listener, is she?
Let's say it's 2 million, and that she's awake 20 hours to make the math easy. Unless I flubbed up the decimal point that's 100,000 words/hour, or 1667 words/minute, or 27 words per second, all day every day.
That's totally amazing. Maybe she mis-spoke. - actorboy, on 03/26/2008, -1/+25That little girl wasn't greeting her. That was a war-torn, sniper-savvy orphan girl pulling the first lady to safety by the neck.
- 0Zeitgeist0, on 03/26/2008, -2/+23She "misspoke". WTF. Do Hillary really thinks that Americans are that stupid?
Wait are we?? - fredmv, on 03/26/2008, -0/+20Billary,
Please just quit. You're the wrong person for the job and have lost any of the little credibility you had previously.
Thanks,
The American People - Independentsam, on 03/26/2008, -0/+20In all sincerity, this reminds me of some of the things Ronald Reagan said near the end of his term when his alzheimers was becoming evident. The fact that she could make such a claim after writing the accurate account in her book scares me more.
Her account of the sniper fire sure seemed to me like she believed it happened. The little girl part makes the story even crazier. Any sane person would definitely remember fearing sniper bullets.
So, if it didn't happen, there are two choices. Either she was embellishing for political gain or she needs a psychological evaluation, - adamal, on 03/26/2008, -3/+22Definition of the word Clinton: To lie, but pretend to misspeak...
- uptown, on 03/26/2008, -1/+19CBS found their footage contradicting her account of the incident.

- shamsia, on 03/26/2008, -0/+17Hill/Bill's Strategy:
1) Destroy Obama
2) McCain 2008
3) Hillary 2012
http://digg.com/political_opinion/Hill_Bill_s_Stra ... - worldinmyeyes, on 03/26/2008, -0/+16I find her repulsive (to put it kindly), and cannot understand how she has any supporters left.
- RobotCitizen, on 03/26/2008, -3/+17She has the exaggerated memories that are typical of an egotist.
Oops! Did I say "typical egotist"? I didn't mean to sound prejudiced against egotists. - Fordi, on 03/26/2008, -1/+15Repetition does not truth make.
- savagesteve13, on 03/26/2008, -0/+11Conservativism is dead. It only took 7 years for the USA to be destroyed by the republican party. How can you with a straight face suggest people vote for a conservative.
- aussiejan, on 03/26/2008, -0/+10What is she the rest of the time?
- Insightful, on 03/26/2008, -1/+11As much as I dislike Clinton, McCain's repeated gaffe is worse. Whereas Clinton was just padding her resume to look good, McCain repeated the idiotic assertion that Iran is training Al Quaeda - which makes as much sense as claiming that Israel is training Hamas terrorists. Where is the media on that?

CBS News: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6GBdyws5YU - afx1, on 03/26/2008, -1/+10will someone please edit that video of her with the kid to have it show fake bullets whizzing past her and maybe things exploding in the immediate background.
- ClarkNoHeart, on 03/26/2008, -0/+8Saying "you know" a lot is usually an indicator that you don't.
- rottencod, on 03/26/2008, -1/+9Do you people even understand what Obama said in his speech? Yes, he heard controversial remarks from his pastor. The man grew up in an intensely racist culture, and the mark of those years stuck with the guy. Obama doesn't agree with that viewpoint but he understands why some people have those views. Those views, flawed as they are, are part of why Obama has such passion for America. There are strong emotions on both sides of the racial divide, and the problem only gets worse as people sweep it under the rug and pretend it's been solved already.
Is it your opinion that you can't be a friend to a person without absolutely worshiping every word that falls out of his mouth? Adults are capable of recognizing that everyone has both good and bad qualities; believe both good and bad things, and make both true and untrue statements. Obama is an adult, and so are millions of Americans who know that race relations are something we must work through head-on rather than burying our heads in the sand and pretending there's nothing to worry about. This is an issue we as a nation cannot afford to ignore.
Sadly, right-wing blowhards are incapable of putting outrageous beliefs into a larger context. They are incapable of recognizing when someone they normally disagree with might have a point. They are so intellectually infantile and dishonest that rather than taking advantage of an opportunity to discuss race relations with the intention of moving past old barriers, they waste that opportunity in order to drive a wedge between the people of our county for no reason beyond short-term political gain. - whatthefu, on 03/26/2008, -3/+11Wait if she said this throughout the past few months why did it take until now for someone to realize what the deal was?
- scotsman, on 03/26/2008, -0/+8I was just about to write the same thing. She says "you know" so many ***** times in her talks it drives me crazy. I think you're onto something though ... she seems to crank up the "you know" when lying. Bitch.
- actorboy, on 03/26/2008, -1/+9Just check CNN.
- cadmiumpaint, on 03/26/2008, -0/+8What kind of idiot would embellish to the point of fabricating history of a PUBLIC and well documented event in this day and age? Every time she took a step in and outside the White House as first lady there was someone there taking her picture.
- pushmouse, on 03/26/2008, -2/+9 3) Jesus told W to bomb brown people.
- NuclearWookie, on 03/26/2008, -0/+7I seem to recall that Limbaugh or Safire called Hillary Clinton a "congenital liar" in the 90s. Like them or not, it would seem to be an accurate description.
- wacomwacoff, on 03/26/2008, -1/+8Because the last 8 years of ultra-conservative government showed how much we need change. I'm a leftist and eager to fix what's been broken.
- Bishman, on 03/26/2008, -0/+7Hillary = Liar
- NSResponder, on 03/26/2008, -0/+7"why is there no negative stories about obama?"
There are plenty of them, aren't you paying attention? Hillary's machine ***** out a new one every day or so.
-jcr - Futile, on 03/26/2008, -0/+7The rest of the time she is a cybernetic organism, living tissue over metal endoskeleton.
- GDOG5, on 03/26/2008, -2/+9Deep down inside I wish she wasn't lying. And then I would also wish that the snipers hadn't missed
- zebraz, on 03/26/2008, -1/+8If I were Hillobeans I would be feeling very depressed about now.
She has made herself into a complete laughingstock.
And how many millions has it cost her ?
That's gotta really hurt.
She spent millions to advertise herself as a complete lying conniving witch.
She will probably blame it all on Bill.
"He made me say all those lies. I didn't want to but he kept slapping me."
Hey I might believe that one.
Naw - ozydingo, on 03/26/2008, -0/+7Bush is leftist?
- commenter01, on 03/26/2008, -1/+7i'd like to un-peach her. i mean. de-pit her. gah. just kick her in the nads...
- MrsJay, on 03/26/2008, -0/+6And my husband thinks I nag him!
- sulthernao, on 03/26/2008, -0/+6Exactly, Republicans are not conservative at all. I can understand that think Obama is to far left, but in reality that argument only truly applies to spending and taxes. And compared to the Republicans, Obama can and will actually be fiscally responsible.
- Acewrap, on 03/26/2008, -0/+5So, people should be immune to criticism if they don't have a penis? That's awful sexist of you.
- inactive, on 03/26/2008, -3/+8Oh it's you again. Go troll somewhere else. Autoburied.
- Burrito, on 03/26/2008, -0/+5Because my Mother doesn't read the news as much as we do. She still thinks the Clintons are the hip couple that interrupted Reagan's Republican legacy, George H Bush. Her generation in the early 90s felt the way we 30 year olds feel about Obama now. They love them even if Bill can't keep his dick in his pants and Hillary has to bitch out some competition now and then. Unfaithful men and strong women are what shaped my parents baby boomer generation.
