- inactive, on 05/10/2008, -5/+103Hillary GTFO!!!
- wizzroom, on 05/10/2008, -4/+44I just wanna see how far Hillary's state of denial will go on before she very publicly goes clinically insane.
- aguy90, on 05/10/2008, -0/+37huh?
- AndrewDB, on 05/10/2008, -3/+31If you want four more years of Bush policies and bull *****, vote McCain.
Who gives a rats ass if the guy is black (does color of a persons skin really, really make them that much of a worse candidate?) or what a past pastor said?. - UberNick, on 05/10/2008, -3/+22Obama was a constitutional scholar-- and even taught it in law school. And he's at least spoken out for civil liberties and is a vocal critic of the more egregious infractions by Bush & friends. That's more than most candidates nowadays.
/still voting Libertarian - kelalo, on 05/10/2008, -1/+21I kind of want to see her go psychotic, see her drop all pretenses and just go ape-*****. I think it would be hilarious. Also, it would be terrifying.
- venuspcs, on 05/10/2008, -0/+17don't you mean "Hillaryous"?
- UberNick, on 05/10/2008, -0/+13Nope, it's "Get The ***** Out"
- Anpheus, on 05/10/2008, -1/+13But it's perfectly OK in porn, right xen0blue? Especially when she's hot?
- inactive, on 05/10/2008, -2/+13If only he would choose Ron Paul as his running mate.
- thcobbs, on 05/10/2008, -3/+11Funny that the people who really decide the Democratic nominee didn't have the balls to Obama before the writing was on the wall. Good herd mentality.
- chaosium, on 05/10/2008, -1/+11"yeah, which is why they consider a man ***** another man where he ***** to be something a normal person does"
Someone's parents never took him to the zoo when he was a kid. - inactive, on 05/10/2008, -6/+13In light of the collapse of the extreme right wing's ideology your criticism of the Democrats seems forced.
- WilliamDavis, on 05/10/2008, -0/+8Yes, Obama's neat. He's also coolio and rad.
- venuspcs, on 05/10/2008, -2/+11Oh and also according to RealClearPolitics (http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/presi ... the current breakdown is as follows:
Obama Clinton
Super Delegates 270 272
Pledged Delegates 1591 1426
Total 1861 1698
So that would live Hillary with a 2 Super Delegate Lead but Obama with a 163 overall Delegate Lead. Oh yea and by my math Hillary would have to win like 80% of the remaining delegates to regain the lead and ensure Obama doesn't clinch the Nomination. - chaosium, on 05/10/2008, -2/+8"1. and hillary supporters flocking to Mccain. They will try to elect him just to piss off the Obama supporters."
More Repubs will join Obama than fairweather Dems will flee for lack of Hillary.
Do realize that these are the same "liberals" who voted Bush in twice. - snareguy17, on 05/11/2008, -0/+6Hilary's just caucus blocking now.
- trickyt, on 05/10/2008, -0/+6I hate how "today" is always "yesterday" on digg.
- ziptnf, on 05/10/2008, -1/+8Where is my tin foil hat? I know I put it around here somewhere.
- chaosium, on 05/10/2008, -6/+18"Trust me, I'm no fan of the "right wing" ideology either! Both parties have been screwing this country for far too long.
It's time for a R3volution!"
Ron Paul is Right-wing to the core, you moron. He's no revolutionary. - YourDoom123, on 05/10/2008, -1/+6read it again... he said that she needs EIGHTY percent of the remaining votes to regain the lead. that's not close by any use of the word.
- monoa, on 05/11/2008, -0/+6I'm sure it's not intentional, but that sentence structure is not good. It clearly reads 'black' is worse, but questions how much worse.
Fortunately not an issue, 'cos whitey ain't gettin' in the Whitehouse this time (this coming from a 'white' man, sickened by the racism still endemic in most parts of the planet). - inactive, on 05/10/2008, -6/+11Ron Paul is just another right winger.
- Signa91, on 05/10/2008, -1/+6god, we got a ways to go still....
- robodok, on 05/10/2008, -1/+6Or at the chimp exhibit they covered his eyes so that he would see no evil.
- sephiroth965, on 05/11/2008, -1/+6No it stands for "Get the Flak suit Out." You know, in case of sniper fire in Bosnia?
- fluffyturtle, on 05/10/2008, -2/+7"More of the same McCain" looks to be winning. I can't wait for four more years of Bush!
- dinot, on 05/10/2008, -0/+5huh?
- aaaleman, on 05/10/2008, -0/+5Clever ship-sinking rats!
- chaosium, on 05/10/2008, -0/+5"I really wouldnt be surprised if, when Hillary does not win the Democratic Nomination, she would back John McCain for President."
Of all the stupid things she's done, this isn't going to happen. - mal1964, on 05/10/2008, -5/+10Diggers are far more politically savvy when compared to your typical average voter.
- romistrub, on 05/11/2008, -1/+5What the huh?
- 1oneWON, on 05/10/2008, -2/+6I love how everyone likes to play the race card on Obama. There's this funny principle in advertising called association. It's where you take something that is for the most part unrelated and allow it to be tied to something so that people see the two as one. See Christmas + Coke (Santa/polar bears drinking Coke).
If Obama was really supportive of Reverend Wrights views, then Rev. Wright wouldn't have put on that spectacle that he knows hurt Obama.
I'm voting Obama, and it's been over for Hillary who has her own issues no one wants to talk about as much as Wright. Plus, statistically, it's pretty much impossible for her to win. - mal1964, on 05/11/2008, -2/+5I don't agree with a lot of Ron Paul's policies, But what i liked about him was his consistency. If i agreed with more of his policy's and voted for him I know one thing for sure. All the agreed policies we shared will not change, I looked hard to bust him and had no luck finding a flip-flop, Ron Paul spam was hard to crack. You could disagree and argue your side, But you couldn't find him voting against what he said on record. Now Obama and most Liberals where i lean towards, Its much easier to find voting inconsistently. Meaning you can catch ( notice the word i used instead) his spam and win an argument a lot easier. But you wont get any credit on digg for it.
- AZSanMan, on 05/11/2008, -0/+3Hey Tool,
Read this: http://www.newshounds.us/2004/10/29/fox_news_float ...
Kerry did not get an endorsement from Bin Laden. The scum at Fox were at work once again with their "unbiased" reporting. - AZSanMan, on 05/11/2008, -0/+3Interesting comment by my mother in-law the other day. She said it is kind of exciting watching Obama's momentum build. It feels like the time when Robert Kennedy was running for president.
- beankitty, on 05/10/2008, -5/+9Hillary is done. If we want a Democrat in office, we need to step up and stop messing around. I guess people are just starting to realize this more now.
- alittleroy101, on 05/10/2008, -1/+5Of course it's a popularity contest. That's the whole concept of elections.
- robodok, on 05/10/2008, -1/+5Points 4 and 5 are inevitable, but I sincerely doubt the first three.
- Ruathal, on 05/11/2008, -0/+4If it was every state at once, only the incredibly rich, established candidates would ever win. Yes, that's what pretty much happens now, but the fact that Obama won Iowa (and Huckabee, sigh) causes people to sit up and say, "Hey, who is this guy, maybe I should check him out." Suddenly Obama and Huckabee start doing better than expected because they were able to afford one state campaign at a time as opposed to running a national campaign right off the bat. I mean, if the primary had been a one-day national campaign, Hillary would have stomped the other candidates.
It IS a popularity contest on one level, but it at least gives lesser known candidates a small chance to make a splash. - PocketWatch, on 05/10/2008, -0/+3If Obama gets the nomination, I can almost guarantee Hillary will vote for him. They're practically identical when it comes to most issues.
- romistrub, on 05/11/2008, -1/+3I dunno V3n0M, I think that one of the prime problems with democracy is that people are, on average, average. I think the *theory* is that Supers are "more intelligent" or "more experienced in politics", so they can help the Dems to the presidency.
That's just my take. - romistrub, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2You *must* know that what you say makes no sense.
- Deodrus, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2"Superdelegates my ass. They're no more super than I am, mother *****."
Dugg for that. - dinot, on 05/10/2008, -2/+4Hillary's already doing that for you.
- Diderotten, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2Right.
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 05/11/2008, -0/+2"KFC it's just good chicken"
- robodok, on 05/10/2008, -0/+2I don't think we'lll have to wait much longer now...
