- karmavsdogma, on 10/11/2007, -11/+256Thank you, kids.
- williamdyer, on 10/11/2007, -12/+140Our government has descended into illegitimacy. Bush is a criminal, deserving no respect, no dignity, no honor.
- greenback1, on 10/11/2007, -7/+87these bright young minds put into perspective just how abnormal bush is.
- pintomp3, on 10/11/2007, -6/+78my hope for the future is restored.
- obliviousfool, on 10/11/2007, -4/+68Presidential Scholars = terrorists! On noes! Lock them up!
- AnaHadWolves, on 10/11/2007, -4/+35Yeah, davenp35...I suppose your heroes are fascist, Religious Right mouth-breathing knuckle-dragging breeders like yourself. No thanks...I prefer my liberties unfiltered by your NeoCon *****.

That's from freedictionary.com
The fact that you called teachers psycho lib radical activists contradicts your statement that you a libertarian. Read the definitions above - barbieleigh42, on 10/11/2007, -1/+25Congrats to these kids for having the guts to say what even our elected officials seem to have difficulty saying!
- spinchange, on 10/11/2007, -5/+23The new mantra should be that the united states doesn't do "Cruelty"
("Torture" has become a legal term with a very limited definition to this administration)
see this legal opinion from Cheney & Gonzales staff lawyers, "The Torture Memo"
http://digg.com/politics/The_Torture_Memo_by_Alberto_Gonzales_Dick_Cheney
spells out how far Cheney and Co. feel they can go before it's technically "torture" (its pretty much to death) - AnaHadWolves, on 10/11/2007, -7/+25These future voters now have met hubris, *****, dissembling and disingenuousness face-to-face in the form of George W. Bush; what they do with this experience will shape the country for decades to come.
I only hope that they realize that not all politicians are as full of fecal-matter as Dubya... - viviwanu, on 10/11/2007, -2/+19These kids are more articulate and have more guts than all of the corporate news media combined!
- subxero37, on 10/11/2007, -0/+14I was reading the title, when I got an instant message from a friend. So, I only read the best part: "Students invited to White House hit Bush."
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+15That letter should have been addressed to Cheney.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+15It's pathetic that even our children know right from wrong and have to explain it to President Traitor.
- thedragon4453, on 10/11/2007, -2/+15I'd imagine Bush was thinking "Ok, who gave these kids a copy of the constitution? Haven't I destroyed that thing enough yet?"
- sigintop, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14Just when I think Democracy will die a slow death in the next generation, these kids show me there's still something to look forward to. Just wish more kids were like them.
- spinchange, on 10/11/2007, -3/+16Go Mari Oye, actually calling him on a Presidential signing statement in legislation!! That's awesome!
- musntSurfatWork, on 10/11/2007, -6/+18Breaking: Bush deems highschools as terrorist breeding cells, and veto's the basic right for childhood education in america. His presidency popluarity will have more room to decrease, and people will still have no say in the matter as usual.
Stay tuned, Paris Hilton is on Larry King tonight YEAH BABY! now THAT'S Newsworthy!! - shaun1018, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13Why does it always have to be psychotic liberals or psychotic rightwingers... can't we just be psychotic together?
Now, if you'll excuse me I have penguins trying to sneak in my freezer again. - spearce, on 10/11/2007, -3/+14yeah when i think about psycho leftist radicals Coach McDuggle and Mrs. Snell, my Algebra teacher, definitely come to mind.
- DrMonkeyLove, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11From the video: "We agree. Americans do not use torture." - Bush
Bull ***** *****! - usrlocalbin, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12ha ha ha!
Davenp35: That's a ***** come back for being pwn3d so hard. - hellotyler, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9So if you're against torture your 'head has been filled with mush and lies' ? Plenty of Republicans (generals, retired army, citizens) don't agree with torturing people to get information. It has been proven to be ineffective and puts our country in a terrible light, not to mention the basic moral dilemma that comes along with it.
Torture is wrong. Period. No matter what side you are on. - Mark6569, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often with this administration. How about when the White House hosts the World Champs of any sport? You think any of those overpaid athletes would have the balls to do something like this? Not!
- TheKarmaPolice, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6at 3:14 it looks like john roberts is going to hop over the divider and pounce on the girl! anybody else see this?
creeeepy.... - laserblazer, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8Bush was once chased out of a high school speech by rock-throwing kids - this was tame by comparison, though noble.
The main-stream media hasn't covered, or has covered up, most of the negative reactions that the traitor Bush has gotten from heroic Americans. They have to struggle to present that buffoon as an official. - pintomp3, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6satx: no, because i see so many adults giving into the scare tactics and rolling over, i had assumed the younger kids were all but lost. even o'rly got schooled by a teenager.
- Tourney3p0, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6This is exactly what the extremists are thinking when they behead our soldiers. It's for the overall good!
You disgust me. - ObiDan, on 10/11/2007, -4/+10@davenp35 People like you make baby Jesus cry.
- VitriolAndAngst, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7Here is a proposal;
Any policy of interrogation that our government proposes must first be endured by anyone endorsing it before it can be accepted. - seventoes, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6You might wanna take a look around.
- fuzzmeister, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Well, either around 1918 or the Red Scare.
- sundancekid503, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Tim Duncan hates our freedom.
- LopsidedZebra, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4you also might wanna stop saying the exact same thing every time you post...
- dirtman777, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Your right. Those marines should not be court marshaled for doing their job. It should be followed up the chain of command to the executive branch and some real justice should be served.
- deto, on 10/11/2007, -5/+9American heros
- mker, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Our generation must destroy the horrors this generation has created.
- thedragon4453, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Hehe, they had a great sketch on the Daily Show the other day with Samantha Bee. She was asking a general what we could do about the american terrorists - which she said was the 70% that didn't agree with the war in Iraq. I'd imagine that Bush was asking himself a similar question.
- KarthVader, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6I'm proud to grouped together in those kid's generation. I am getting ready to graduate in one year and I started thinking about how I've impacted the world, or how would I impact the world. My problem is this: The baby boomers (like my parents) said they would change the world after Vietnam and never let anything like that happen to them. Yet the politicians that are in power now let the same thing happen. When I see things like this the future always seems brighter to me, but then I realize that there are always going to be imbeciles in politics that are going to look out for themselves and their friends.
In all honesty, I do hope that myself, or anyone in my generation changes the system so that nothing like what has happened these last 7 years ever happens again. But then again, nothing is certain in the future.
Congrats to those 50 kids that took initiative.
Shame on everyone that led us to where we are. - thedragon4453, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4You know, as a president, when you can't even get through a meet and greet with some school kids, I would really start to question every decision I make. Normally these are all about autographs, not grilling the pres. about his torture tactics.
- OatmealBatman2, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Hello? The Supreme Court ruled that the US cannot put Gitmo detainees through military commissions, which were set up by the Bush administration. The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that even detainees that aren't US citizens are entitled to habeas corpus protection, which Bush has taken away through a signing statement. It's clear that the Bush administration is holding these people in Guantanamo Bay in violation of US and international law. Does this mean that Bush is breaking the law? Yes.
- rcook18, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3I'm fully in favor of our soldiers getting top notch care and service. Why does this administration shortchange our soldiers in this way?
- WallyAnti, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3You know it sounds kinda nutty but that just might be reasonable. Cops have to take a shot of pepper spray to the face(and i think they even taze each other) before they are allowed to use these weapons.
- kinkysexradio, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Or during the Adams administration. The Alien & Sedition act would have got 'em!
- Hambone72, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3OK...so where's the link to the duplicate, then?
- CogitatorX, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3That's why it should've never happened even once. Now you're labeled. Wear it.
- je12u, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4I really hope these are the kids of the future and that something could change...I'd love to see my 1yo have a happy '"less stressful" life.
- kinkysexradio, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Didn't you see the Lindy point? From Gitmo? That pretty much confirmed it for me. :)
- nshah, on 10/11/2007, -3/+6With the No Child Left Behind Act, maybe Bush will actually listen to these kids?
