- castanova, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I think the thought of a SNP-run Scotland just doesn't quite compute in the minds of the BBC editors (along with most everyone else in England, to be honest), so they just ignore the problem and hope it goes away.
- Aseinai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Independence is a risk but not a foolish one.
Scotland and her people are Scottish , the act of union was another sly & smart move by the monarchy by buying and breeding in figures of power in Scotland. Three hundred years later it is starting to show that the spirit of Scotland has never died, we dont want to be Englands enemy and actually never did . Englands lies are well renowned over hundreds of years of foreign invasion up to this present day, * I just deleted 3 lines of text as I was beginning to digress*
Anyhow , democracy will have her say over the next 12 years.
PS. I am not a hater ,two of my best people... my wife to be and best man are both English. - Aseinai, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1.
EDIT - alan13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I agree with castanova. As a Scot, I wouldnt want to see the SNP getting into power. Even if they did, I dont think a referendum would show a desire to split the UK up as we know it.
