- inactive, on 01/23/2008, -3/+74►THANK GOD FOR JON STEWART!!!!!!!!
How pathetic that Americans have to watch a Comedy channel to get the news.
"a recent study by the University of Pennsylvania's National Annenberg Election Survey, which said young viewers of "The Daily Show" were more likely to answer questions about politics correctly than those who don't."
http://www.freepress.net/news/4765
”Viewers of Jon Stewart's show are more likely to have completed four years of college than people who watch "The O'Reilly Factor," according to Nielsen Media Research.”

Also, funny that after Stewart appeared on Crossfire and outed them for not really being a debate show but just another right-wing extremist circus that is destroying American, CNN cancelled the show.

Thanks for that Jon. - inactive, on 01/23/2008, -5/+61Skip the blog spam:
http://www.comedycentral.com/motherload/player.jht ... - inactive, on 01/23/2008, -2/+40Bill Clinton lying? When did that start happening?
- rbdiggit, on 01/23/2008, -2/+22God bless Jon Stewart. In these troubled times, when watching the "news" makes us want to take to our TV sets and computer monitors in a fit of rage, he reminds us to laugh. And I, for one, prefer laughing to the rage I feel when I hear the clintons speak. (By speak I mean "lie").
- uselessexpert, on 01/23/2008, -1/+21Gotta love Jon Stewart! He'll put his foot up anyone's ass when the ***** starts to roll out of people's lips.
- oxdeltaxo, on 01/23/2008, -3/+22How about a mirror for out of area ppl, the vid won't load. I get the feeling its cuz I'm Canadian.
- MacEnvy, on 01/23/2008, -0/+17I like Bill Maher, but Jon Stewart has always been better than him. He's a MUCH better interviewer, and he's funnier too.
- ufee, on 01/23/2008, -2/+17Even Jon Stewart pronounces my state wrong.
- neckfire, on 01/23/2008, -3/+18Hi-larious!
- ziptnf, on 01/23/2008, -0/+12Be a little more general: The Clintons have been lying. It's not just Bill.
- mwalker05, on 01/23/2008, -0/+12dont you mean, Hillary-ous?
- lcarsdeveloper, on 01/23/2008, -1/+13That last link was deleted, but here's another version - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFQFB5YpDZE
(I hadn't seen it before, thanks!) - OriginalLucid1, on 01/23/2008, -1/+12Bill Clinton is a liar? Who knew?
- smacksaw, on 01/23/2008, -1/+11Somewhere out there, right now, Wesley Snipes is plotting his revenge.
- badenglishihave, on 01/23/2008, -0/+9Slick WIlly? Conception.
- lcarsdeveloper, on 01/23/2008, -0/+9The problem, I think, is that the show which was only supposed to be comedy has been forced to discuss real news seriously because the major news sources don't do that. Some of the interviews Stewart does, while including humor, actually have more serious and important questions than the major networks would ask. A perfect example was the Angelina Jolie interview from late last year, the interview she gave on another network was nothing more than just "I think you're great, what makes you so wonderful?". Stewart actually asked about some of the rumors going around, asked about her charity work and plenty of serious intelligent questions. Even if you took out all the humor from the show it would still be more credible than most mainstream news.
Let's face it, Americans (and most other western countries too) want to be entertained. What's better though, asking serious and important questions laced with a handful of jokes? Or turning a 30 minute news segment into celebrity gossip, fearmongering and fluff pieces about kittens and politician's hairstyles? - mochaman, on 01/23/2008, -0/+9Come on America I'm tired of the Clinton lying machine. I know we can do better!
- manicleek, on 01/23/2008, -1/+9it got old just after the first person did it, now it just makes the poster look like a *****
- agent42, on 01/23/2008, -1/+9youtube link anyone?
- snotrokit, on 01/23/2008, -0/+8These asshats (the Clintons) don't even try to hide it anymore, it's just blatant *****. What, if they throw enough of it out there, maybe something will stick.
- Jektal, on 01/23/2008, -0/+8They still make the noise
- m3mn0n, on 01/23/2008, -0/+7Not working here either... damn it
This is the same ***** NBC pulls for their free online episode streaming. =[ - cranium, on 01/23/2008, -0/+7WTF? You don't know Jon Stewart very well.
- 1337Einstein, on 01/23/2008, -0/+7You forgot to trail off with a sinister laugh.
- nick111, on 01/23/2008, -0/+7Yea, it works, it's just *****.
If there's anyone out there that makes streaming video players... here's an absolutely essentialy bit of functionality....
It's got to keep downloading when you hit pause.
Any media player that doesn't do this is an utter crock of *****. I don't get why people don't understand this. Youtube works. Your clever variation does not ***** work. - lcarsdeveloper, on 01/23/2008, -1/+8Your opinion of Stewart makes no sense unless you actually tell us what your opinion of Maher is. In my opinion the Simpsons is as funny as Family Guy. Do I like the Simpsons or not? You have no way of knowing, do you.
- lcarsdeveloper, on 01/23/2008, -0/+6You do realise that by now everyone can recognise "uuiU". Seriously, get a life.
- stonedslacker, on 01/23/2008, -0/+5Wow. I had no idea that was Bill all along. Great disguise.
- lathicentropy, on 01/23/2008, -0/+5yeah, they hate canadians...won't load for me either.
- VVHEELS, on 01/23/2008, -0/+5Mirror: http://www.spike.com/episode/25768/startsWith/2935 ...
- dracflamloc, on 01/23/2008, -0/+4You must be kidding... the show is made in... America. If you guys wanted one of your own (whereever you are) you should make one, intriguing idea, no?
- inactive, on 01/23/2008, -2/+6I'm not even American (I'm aussie) but thank ***** for comedy central so i can get mah stewart fix.
I really wish they would screen it here. We have letterman instead *groans*. - chilipeppers4u, on 01/23/2008, -0/+4The comedy central videos never work for me and I'm in Canada. For any fellow Canadians out there this link should work. The Clinton campaign stuff starts at about 2:30
http://broadband.thecomedynetwork.ca/?vid=27445 - bob12321, on 01/23/2008, -0/+4You fail the first time so you try again?
- chillypacman, on 01/23/2008, -3/+7check out who gives a *****:
- CabesMojo, on 01/23/2008, -2/+6And like everything else in this land we conquered it pee'ed all over it, changed it and made it ours. You hear that Spanish language, we can do anything we want even change you.
You will get nothing but disdain if you pronounce it Nev-ah-dah here. - cderry, on 01/23/2008, -1/+4It sure does.
- madmage, on 01/23/2008, -0/+3Yes, I know if I see the former president walking by, I'm going to turn to a lower paid worker and say "Hey, if you vote for that guy's wife I'm going to disenfranchise you!"
I do that all the time.... - keggdirdle, on 01/23/2008, -0/+3I wish I could watch Chasers War on Everything in the states too, not just on vodcast.
- Bakrain, on 01/23/2008, -0/+3Don't bother, its a roll.
- Tenetri, on 01/23/2008, -0/+3Were not strangers to love, you know the rules, and So do I.

?? - babar77, on 01/23/2008, -1/+4Then you deserved the last 7 years.
- whiledo, on 03/25/2009, -1/+3"Quotes" and *emphasis* should be *used* "sparingly" to *avoid* "looking" like a "dumbass."
- zeitgueist, on 01/23/2008, -0/+2You don't actually watch the Daily show, do you? I know you think what you said is true, but anyone who watches the show at all knows you're wrong. Fortunately, comedy show hosts aren't as capricious with their approval as political pundits.
- Megatron12, on 01/23/2008, -0/+2Unfortunately you also need to be running Windows or Mac OS. What a pain in the ass!
- babar77, on 01/23/2008, -0/+2I have family in Perth, when I saw the crap TV that America exports there when I visited a couple of years ago, it became obvious why the rest of the world hates us. Jerry Springer and like shows are being broadcast to the other end of the world, while intelligent programming like John Stewart have to be downloaded off the internet.
- m3mn0n, on 01/23/2008, -0/+2It's another way to let me know what douche bags to block to filter out the garbage comments. Thanks for making my digg a better place.
- inactive, on 01/24/2008, -0/+2dugg dugg dugg. Great information to keep in the old memory bank. Seriously, that's a nice contribution.
