States Want To Increase Sales Tax, Rather Than Cut Spending

usatoday.com — A growing number of state and local governments are considering big sales tax increases to pump up sluggish revenue, cut property taxes or pay for new programs. Again we have politicians, who can't stop their tax and spend policies, while in the same breath expect us to sacrifice from which Americans are having little left to give.
