- ncairns, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3That's the way to win support; insinuate that anyone who disagrees with your political views is hostile to freedom.
Yawn. - jotate, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1She said he's the best if you want freedom. That leaves the door wide open for other candidates that also might be good for those wanting freedom, just not as good as RP. And considering that every other candidate (Republican anyway) is pro-war, I'd say the peace aspect of the comment speaks for itself.
Sneeze. - IanKC, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0Well said johnnyb.
- LuluBean, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1Ron Paul is clearly the best candidate for anyone who wants freedom and peace
And for those who delve deeply into the news, the way to save our Constitution
All my prayers he is in our Oval Office come January 2009
Love, Lulu - hahajohnnyb, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0Its no base allegation that people who are against Ron Paul are against freedom, or they simply do not truly understand the isssues of this election, Ron Paul is the only candidate that sees the constitution as the law, not a mere suggestion to consider until you have different ideas. He is the only candidate that supports traditional republican values. The Republican Party has changed from the Party of small government into the party of Big Government Nationalism, where there is no major difference between them and the democrats.
Freedom cannot exist unless the government is bond by the constitution, neither political party talks much about the constitution, because they do not believe in it and many have said as much, saying they support a "living constitution" which is just another way of saying that they think that the constitution means whatever is politically expedient right now. Ron Paul is the sole exception.
