August 6th,2001 PDB - Presidential Daily Briefings,Straight from Condoleezza Rice mouth on video under oath in front of the 911 Commission "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S." Forewarning of 911. Treason-Cheney "no specific threat", Treason-George Tenet "no warning signs I'm aware of",Bush asked for this memo"And the reason I asked for this Memo... straight from Bush's treasonous mouth... - iching, on 11/21/2007, -6/+42GEORGE H.W. BUSH: “I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious of traitors.” [Speech at CIA, 4/26/99]
- tonto69, on 11/21/2007, -6/+39and let's not forget why they (the neo-cons) blew Plame's cover in the first place. They were retaliating because her husband wouldn't lie about Iraq not having weapons of mass destruction.
No one in this administration has yet been charged with TREASON! Our nation's foreign policy has been hijacked by Zionists loyal to Israel, not the U.S.! - looking4aparty, on 11/21/2007, -6/+28More evidence that Bush lied
- andshewas, on 11/21/2007, -2/+22We didn't. But that's an entirely different problem.
- newtonusr, on 11/21/2007, -6/+25The ChimpCo lies, as told by Scotty...
Who woulda thunk? - sovereign3, on 11/21/2007, -1/+18Wrong Bush.
- Actionjax1, on 11/21/2007, -3/+20I could not take a job that would require me to put all my ethics on the shelf. To knowingly lie to everyone on a day to day basis, no wonder the Press Secretary has a short lifespan.
- laeteralis462, on 11/21/2007, -3/+18Not a surprise. Not a surprise at ALL. Just one of hundreds of pawns who get a paycheck from Bush to pull this ***** out their asses and spray it all over the media.
OH, and to "TheFounder" we did NOT vote him in once nor twice. Newsflash, there's no democratic voting process in the United States. It's a lie. There hasn't been true elections for decades. - inactive, on 11/21/2007, -1/+16speak for yourself. i never cast a vote for this idiot and tried to talk
as many people as i could out of voting for him back in '00 elections
/should have tried harder - jd33, on 11/21/2007, -1/+15Wipe your mouth Mr. Bush. There is still some ***** around your lips.
- andshewas, on 11/21/2007, -2/+15Wait, what? The site was quoting the book. What difference does it make which site it comes from? It's still in the book. Stop making everything such a flame war.
- Zippo, on 11/21/2007, -1/+14As if we really needed more.
- objectcode, on 11/21/2007, -8/+18this guy must be lying. those "moonbat" liberals are all making this kind of stuff up. bush would never lie
- gfunk76, on 11/21/2007, -0/+9I certainly did NOT vote for this dickwad.
- LogicBomB, on 11/21/2007, -2/+11When clinton lied, nobody died.
- str3ama, on 11/21/2007, -5/+14And now some words from Bush:
"It's in our country's interests to find those who would do harm to us and get them out of harm's way."
"I understand small business growth. I was one."
"You can fool some of the people all the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on."
Orly?
Source: http://quotes.us.to/quotes.php?id=54 - SuperMoses, on 11/21/2007, -3/+11The media owned this issue. People are dumb enough to think that a) Joe outed his own wife. b) Plame wasn't covert c) No crime was committed. That is how much the media controls information...the fact that some people still think those things is ridiculous. Nothing will come out of this book because the media will ignore it.
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -1/+9And that makes the fact that the administration outed a CIA agent to "get" her husband OK?
- jbird71, on 11/22/2007, -0/+7Too bad they don't have terribly harsh penalties for acts of treason. Especially during times of "war".
Oh wait, they do. Goodie. - ccheath, on 11/21/2007, -1/+8revised:
1) Join corrupt administration
2) Keep your mouth shut until you leave
3) write a book
4) Profit! - Seviil, on 11/21/2007, -2/+9The author of that commentary is a real hoser. I saw McClellan on the Daily Show right after he resigned and he made it clear that he went to the five people mentioned and asked them what the deal was, and they 100% assured him none of them were involved. He further went on to explain that when he found out that Libby *had* been involved and that the other four knew about it he felt incredibly betrayed but really couldn't take any action because he was the spokesperson for the White House. After he stepped down he wrote this book and *that* is what he did to correct misperceptions.
In what universe should McClellan take responsibility for lying when he thought he was telling the truth? In what universe is he expected to, while still holding the position of White House spokesperson, go in front of the podium and betray his boss? -- After he resigned he certainly wasted no time clearing things up -- and in what universe does McClellan's explanation of Plamegate "make it out as nothing more than a silly mistake that the press blew all out of proportion" ? - falseleftright, on 11/21/2007, -1/+8Not all of us cause the death and displacement of hundreds of thousands of people with those lies though.
- BlacklabelSAR, on 11/21/2007, -2/+8"No one in this administration has yet been charged with TREASON!" Their trials are coming. Watch them run like the Nazis did. Paraguay? Dubai?
- SuperMoses, on 11/21/2007, -1/+7"So there is still no direct evidence that Bush and friends outed her that is actionable." Thanks to Libby's obstruction of justice.. how many years in jail did he serve because of that btw?
- cambob76, on 11/21/2007, -2/+8Noooooooooo kidding Scott. You're still a douchebag.
- SuperMoses, on 11/21/2007, -1/+7Those who voted for him twice obviously did not take his great advice. "Fool me once ... shame on you... fool me.. you won't fool me again!"
- BlacklabelSAR, on 11/21/2007, -0/+6It is a related problem.
- morgino, on 11/21/2007, -3/+8One more reason for impeachment (at least Cheney) and one more reason the pussy democrats won't. Funny though, I was watching OReilly and Olberman back to back last night and this was the main thing on MSNBC and I dont even think they mentioned it on Fox.
- BlacklabelSAR, on 11/21/2007, -2/+6so the video is to be ignored?
- indyGuy, on 11/21/2007, -6/+10surprise, surprise
- withears, on 11/21/2007, -0/+4I don't think that Tony Snow knew that he was lying. I doubt that he understood half of what he was saying. He just doesn't seem very bright.
But Dana Perino seems to truly love the attention that she receives. She's like the fat girl who got skinny and now the boys like her. - andshewas, on 11/21/2007, -0/+4Agreed. Here's hoping it doesn't happen in 2008.
- BlacklabelSAR, on 11/21/2007, -4/+8The American Bastille Day is coming. Make no mistake about that.
READ THIS: Yesterday, on a FOX radio station (this is why I was amazed) 570 KLIF in Dallas, JD Wells said that if the Supreme Court rules that we no longer have the right to bear arms, that the 2nd American Revolution will be at hand, and that we will be fighting against the government. I was floored to hear this on a FOX radio station. The classic conservatives are parting ways with the Neocons. Cue the war-crime trials! - lolwaffle, on 11/03/2008, -0/+4Hoping isn't enough.
- SuperMoses, on 11/21/2007, -1/+5If the next president is Clinton or Giuliani, don't bet on it.
- spawnfree, on 11/21/2007, -0/+4Probably terrified.
Do as you are told or get sacked, make a scene that attracts attention and get whacked.
Power attracts criminals, they took over ages ago. - estacado, on 11/21/2007, -2/+5Why is it that only after they've left the clan that they develop the balls to come clean. The clan must be using some sort ball suppressant.
- Logisti, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3I wanted to add this: My ultimate problem with this article is that the author clearly has a hatred so strong that he feels the need to lash out blindly at anyone who has a passing association with his gripes. McClellan was in a tough situation and when he realized he was being used to sell lies to the American public he got his affairs in order, quit his job and went public with the info. He's pretty much the only upstanding guy in this entire mess and attacking him is a good way for someone to prove they don't know what the heck they're talking about.
- Delphium226, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3oh no! you've made me so ashamed!
/yawn - TopherT, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3People are dumb enough to think that Saddam was behind 9-11.
/contempt - annonimality, on 11/21/2007, -2/+5Here is the Fox News article: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,312349,00.html
- flipside3, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3Poor McClellan had a conscience. You could always tell it ate at him when he was lying. Now those that came after him... they seemed to enjoy making stuff up.
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -1/+4Why the ***** would you be "floored" to hear foaming-at-the-mouth wingnut conservative ***** on a FOX radio station?
- biotch, on 11/21/2007, -0/+3The Bush admin already paid him off to squash it
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21917188/ - LogicBomB, on 11/21/2007, -1/+4I actually saw that in a public bathroom someplace :)
- falseleftright, on 11/21/2007, -1/+3I pity the person that signs on as the White House Press Secretary for the Bush administration. Can you imagine being in that position..having to lie with every breath; unable to answer even the softest of softball questions because your bosses are murderous in their intent. Look what the job did to Tony Snow (who I think was the most talented obfuscator ever to grace that podium). I't literally ate him alive. Ms. Perino, I hope you are right with God.
- annonimality, on 11/21/2007, -1/+3Let's see, when the accusations are against a Democrat it's admirable. When it's against a Republican - LIES!
- freezeout, on 11/21/2007, -2/+4there was no oral sex involved therefor this is a non-issue
- humanerror, on 04/03/2008, -2/+4What about all those millions of unborn babies he murdered all over the dresses and faces of countless interns and groupies?
Every sperm is sacred! -
