Sheehan Wants Impeachment, Pelosi's Job

nytimes.com — Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan on Monday moved another step -- actually several thousand of them -- toward carrying out her promise to run against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi because the California Democrat won't consider impeachment proceedings against President Bush.

    1) In 8 months, how close are our troops to coming home? No closer at all. Good job so far.
    2) How much actual time has been alotted? Well considering Conyers said himself they never even read the bills they vote on. And that there's been perhaps 3-5 bills total passed, with a vote on them taking what, a few hours? We could probably average it down to 8 hours in 8 months! Fantastic Work!!!
    3) Congress has the power of the purse, if they wanted to, they could have defunded the war months ago, and had our troops home. Then compensate them for any back pay. Everyone wins. I mean, aside from new gear and weapons, what else are troops in a foriegn country spending their money on? Probably not too much.
    4) I doubt the troops would mind missing a month or two's pay, if they knew that a) When its all over they would be paid out whats owed. They could probably live with not being paid, from my view living without pay sure beats dying with pay.
    5) We have video proof the administration lied about the war, had previous knowledge of 911, and that Bush is trying to create a military state with his stupid ass ***** laws.

    Their not busy ending the war, their not busy impeaching bush, their not busy "Holding this administration accountable" -- WHAT THE ***** ARE YOU DOING THEN? I'll tel you... letting bush pass all his bills so they can get his little "Tool box of power"


    and a few points about bush!
    1) It seems awful funny how when its his ass or one of his bushies in trouble, they are the FIRST to use the constitution to get out.
    2) When it comes to OUR rights from the constitution "It's just a goddamned piece of paper"
    3) Bush has no problem denying us the right to protest. But ill bet he wouldn't deny the Health Crap Companies the right to lobby!

    Time to start spreading the word about "Article 5 Conventions" and some more Ron Paul 08 spam.

    A few points about Paul.

    1) The media hates him (look at constant smear jobs.)
    2) His fellow republicans hate him. (look at how they twist his words.)
    3) He is the next generation equal to Robin Hood.
    4) He's the only one in the whole group of dems and reps that talks about ending the IRS/Federeal Reserve (The reason income tax is illegal is because it was passed without the consent of 3/4 the states. They tried to call it voluntary so ppl wouldn't freak out. Even Former President Woodroffe the man who signed the bill admitted later he ***** america in doing so, do your own research, don't believe the lies of the IRS, and well we already see how much we can count on Congress to work for the People.)
    5) If the media hates him, the fellow republicans hate him... ***** thats enough right there. If they hate him. He must be doing something Right.

What scares me is the thought that (and look at the pattern of his executive power trip to see where this could be realistic) come October of 2008, Bush will declare that National Security will be compromised if we switch Presidents in the middle of a war. He'll find some way to eliminate term limits on the Presidency and declare himself leader of the land until the war is officially declared over (which will never happen).

Former House Judiciary Committee member Liz Holtzman helped get Nixon out of office and co-authored the Special Prosecutor law.

    This may be another road to impeachment. (in addition to H.Res.333)
