September 15th, 2007 March on Washington -- Enough Is Enough
pephost.org — The Police shut down the press conference but they won't be shutting down the event. A broad spectrum of national groups have united to mobilize for a massive fall anti-war mobilization called the Days of Action. September 15-21 will be a major showdown in Washington, DC at the very moment that the Petraeus Report is released. NOW is the time.

- FrawQ, on 10/10/2007, -5/+7As much as i believe that the police are totally wrong here, be it for or against the war blatantly arresting someone in the public for no apparent crime is unjust and unamerican, but having said that in todays world of publicity stunts and never knowing the real truth, I have to wonder weather the fact that the cameras were there made them seize a crucial pr boost, if they had simply called the police on themselves or someone else might have making a claim that they were disruptive and civilly disobedient. I dont know if the did but its something to think about.
- manicallday, on 10/10/2007, -10/+7As a DC resident, I would really wish that they would remove all of their signs. They are ***** everywhere. And of course they just don't put up one sign. They just plaster them anywhere they can find an open space. People do live here and I'm sure you wouldn't me coming into your neighborhood and plastering signs everywhere.
- Vicujozobenaxod, on 10/10/2007, -10/+2Yeah, where the fact that they were plastering crap illegally on city property was very evident, but was ignored and instead got labeled an attack on free speech. I hope people do stupid stuff at this big march, give the cops a reason to crack a few heads. Everybody knows the power of stupid people in large crowds.

And btw your stereotypical pov seems to be rather 'complacent' as well. Stop with the hypocrisies. Not all digg users are home ridden & unambitious or whatever. There are plenty of people on digg such as myself who are totally awesome & have at least somewhat of a life & get some sunlight from time to time.

- SheilaNoya, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7Unfortunately, you are somewhat correct. Back in the stone age (prior to the Internet), it was much easier to get boots in the street to protest unpopular government actions. It's hard for the Main Stream Media to ignore angry crowds in the streets. However, it's easy for the media (and older folks who don't use the computer much) to ignore people complaining online. The media just calls it "wackos from the blogoshere" and the old folks never even see any of it or hear about it.
People also need to keep in mind that there are still about 33% of Americans who don't even use computers or go online to read the news, blogs, etc. The only information these people get is usually from their AM radio talk shows, or the local news.
The Internet is GREAT for dieeminating information, but let's not all become so complacent that we forget to show our anger in person too. - ganjadude4391, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3i live in NY and to be honest, i wasnt gonna drive to DC but i got a lil bonus from my job for selling out this past labor day weekend so i think i will attempt to make it down there ill be wearing an

- MasterThief117, on 10/10/2007, -12/+97I hate to say it, but I am a little afraid to go. I live like 20 minutes from D.C and I am terrified that police or something are going to open fire on all of us who go. That being said, I am still going, because I believe our country's freedoms are more important.
- mrASSMAN, on 10/10/2007, -5/+15Well.. no they're not going to just mass-murder people. But of course you run the possibility of being shot at with rubber bullets and tasers etc. As this is clearly going to be a peaceful rally (anti-war) they have no reason to use force, but you never know I guess..
- tehpwnrate, on 10/10/2007, -21/+3If you're seriously afraid of that, while you're most definitely in the "Bush is a fear-mongerer!" camp, you just got duped big time by the left. Congratulations, hypocrite.
- MindTrigger, on 10/10/2007, -6/+16You are exactly what is wrong with this country, and why the globalist agenda is doing so well. - tehpwnrate, on 10/10/2007, -7/+19How about you guys march in AFTER the Petraeus report?
- RuffRidr, on 10/10/2007, -13/+16Conclusive proof that the Democrats never had ANY interest in what the report says.
- expat001, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2*****
- harksaw, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Was there ever a possibility that it would say anything other than "Things are going very well, but not well enough for us to leave." ?
- roystgnr, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Democrats, as well as independents and Republicans like me who pay attention to the news, already know what the Petraeus report will say. Just in case Bush's habit of firing generals who disagree with him isn't enough to skew the opinions of those who remain, the White House will be ghost writing Petraeus' opinions for him:
http://thinkprogress.org/2007/08/15/petraeus-white-house-report/
- annezieger, on 10/10/2007, -8/+18Guess what, Ruff. You're right, I don't. After a few decades on this planet I've pretty much decided that when someone (the federal government) starts out with lies and bull, they're not going to suddenly stop and show integrity. So why even take in new information at this point? Let's just get the hell outta Iraq, period.
- RuffRidr, on 10/10/2007, -7/+5Then why did the Democrats demand the report in the first place? You see, I don't have a problem with getting out of the war. I have a problem with the political posturing that your elected representatives are pulling. The only "goal" they are working towards, is their election to presidency and retaining their majorities in the senate. The rest of the country (and the world) be damned.
- annezieger, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I'm not sure why they did. You're right--the Democrats as they are today are just posturing and hoping to keep power. I'm not proud of how my elected representatives are doing, definitely. But what's the alternative if you're not on the right? Candidates like Nader (left) and Ron Paul (R) are interesting but probably unelectable.
- xister, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3That's kind of the problem though. Many people keep saying that. If all the people saying that second tier candidates are unelectable would stop saying that and back them, there'd be a marked difference in the opinion of those candidates and many more votes for them.
- enki25, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4Now you're just attacking the method, not the stated intent. If you have any doubts about what the Patraeus report is going to say, then you probably don't read a lot of news. And don't give me crap about "liberal bias" in the media. Any positive report you read about Iraq is going to be either written by this administration, or some neocon think tank.
- bizchris, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Forgive me if I'm ignorant on this - but did the Democrats actually demand the report in the first place? I was under the impression their desire was along the lines of "If you want our support, convince us of REAL progress in Iraq" and that Petraeus was the Bush administration's answer. If that is the case, I could see where it has become apparent (through only meeting 3 of the 18 benchmarks, etc.) that that progress has not come to pass - so they don't need to hear from Bush's military representative on the matter...?
I'm just speculating, but would appreciate any other insights into the matter.
- annezieger, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I'm not sure why they did. You're right--the Democrats as they are today are just posturing and hoping to keep power. - AggieFalcon01, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Um, don't look now, but the federal government is filled with Democrats that also start out with lies, bull, and fearmongering (shoot, the fact that they still listen to the likes of Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton).
- swrostmore, on 10/10/2007, -10/+13The 15th IS AFTER the Petraeus report. *****.
- tehpwnrate, on 10/10/2007, -5/+11Sorry, I didn't know the exact date (I'm sure you looked it up). I read this and made an assumption, "at the very moment that the Petraeus Report is released." So take that, you classy, mature fellow :)
- annezieger, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5You tell 'em! Gotta love the way some people think attacks on (comparatively) minor issues are more important than grown-up conversation. You got a Freeper there, no doubt.

- shupy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+14You are going to be surprised at how many of the "troops" will be there. The people who want them to come home are the real supporters. Not the chicken hawks who sit in their offices talking tough.

- skankyBacon, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6Just like that day where we were all supposed to stay home from work a while back.
I think someone said dramatic stuff like "NOW is the time" back then too.- wholly2b, on 10/10/2007, -4/+4No, that's actually next Tuesday. On, you know, September 11th. Makes sense, huh? It's about time someone outside the Bush admin exploits the date.
I can't be in Washington cause I have to fly out to California the next day and absolutely cannot risk getting arrested. But I'll be staying home from work on Tuesday, will probably go down to "ground zero", too.
- wholly2b, on 10/10/2007, -4/+4No, that's actually next Tuesday. On, you know, September 11th. Makes sense, huh? It's about time someone outside the Bush admin exploits the date.

- RuffRidr, on 10/10/2007, -8/+3Maybe if Clinton wouldn't have been sleeping on the job, it wouldn't be an issue in the first place.
- onewingedangel9, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4Clinton focused on the economy. He did a damn good job with it at that. He also knew how to execute a succesful war.
- moskaudancer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5You are correct, onewing. The man knew when to shoot and when to put the gun down and talk. Sadly, all the righties seem to remember about him is the fact that he got *way* more action than any of them ever will. ;)
- digggggggggg, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5No, because Bush has no intention of ever catching him.
- xister, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Seriously- how can anyone support the guy who said- "Osama Bin Laden- he's not really a priority."
- RuffRidr, on 10/10/2007, -8/+3Maybe if Clinton wouldn't have been sleeping on the job, it wouldn't be an issue in the first place.
- supermanred, on 10/10/2007, -4/+11No, he's having lunch with Bush and Cheney that day. It must be hard for the Bush family not seeing their good friends the Bin Ladens any more.
- chrissandvick, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4No but I bet his latest video is going to be aired. And while it's being show about a quarter of the crowd is going to be screaming "CIA tool!!"
- bsmang, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I'm sure he won't make it, but the fact that he agrees with the protesters that the war in Iraq should be stopped doesn't mean much besides that he's considerably smarter than those who support the war.
- onewingedangel9, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11Maybe if he shows up on the White House lawn they'll finally be able to catch him?
- annezieger, on 10/10/2007, -8/+4I do live near DC, and I'm afraid to attend, for the reasons some people have named. I'm not saying we'll be gunned down, but we could be arrested, and I'm not able to risk that. For those old or educated enough to get the reference, I'm thinking a People's Park thing here.
- cranium, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8Chicken-dove? If I weren't a couple thousand miles away, I'd be there. If you pay for my trip, I'll go get shot for ya.
- annezieger, on 10/10/2007, -3/+0I wish I could afford to--I would if I could.
I'm not chicken, but in this day and age when employers do background checks for even white collar positions (which include freaking credit reports as well as criminal background) I can't afford a black mark. I have a family to support. Yes, they've subverted me, but that's the fact.
- annezieger, on 10/10/2007, -3/+0I wish I could afford to--I would if I could.
- wholly2b, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5This is why I think the general strike on September 11th is such a good idea. You stand no risk of getting arrested, and it's incredibly easy to do. And if enough people don't show up at work that their coworkers notice and start thinking about the reasons, then even more people will be on board for a second strike.
- cranium, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8Chicken-dove? If I weren't a couple thousand miles away, I'd be there. If you pay for my trip, I'll go get shot for ya.

When they say they support our troops....and then they go out with a public demonstration against the war, that is NOT supporting our troops! If you don't think the war is just then send a letter to your congressman and everyone else on your list....do NOT demonstrate in public as that sends a clear message to our troops (the WRONG message) AND it sends a clear message to our enemies on the battlefield....- zeebo323, on 10/10/2007, -3/+16I'm sorry but you are an idiot.
- annezieger, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8What kind of brain-dead slug thinks you have to support your government's policies to think well of and wish the best for the brave people in the military? For heaven's sake, it's pretty supportive to want good people not to be pointlessly killed!
- yotomote, on 10/10/2007, -3/+11Enemies on battlefields??? what the ***** are you smoking, this is a ***** war started on false grounds entirely for the purpose of making profit. ***** YOU

I think Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity have something nasty to say about the 70% of Americans who oppose this war! Hurry before you miss hearing your minority opinion turned into a new hateful message you can hurl at the 70% of Americans you seem to think are all "liberals".
- ganjadude4391, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3ummm lets see the LEADERS of this protest will be IRAQ VETS!!!
whos opinion is more valued than theirs - Tanishh, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Is it fun being Bush's sycophant? The idea that to protest anything is immoral and wrong because it "gives strength to our enemies" and thus that protest itself is wrong goes against the first amendment and the Constitution. If they have even a basic internet connection or a basic ability to watch US or even EU news networks they already know how many people hate this war and this administration; the cat's already out of the bag. People like you who call others traitors and supporters of the enemy for exercising their first amendment rights and stating that they see something wrong are dicks.

- moskaudancer, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3How is someone whose family is depending on him/her to feed and clothe them a "lazy sheep"? Maybe you'll understand some day when you have kids of your own.
Or maybe you'll still be an insensitive clod incapable of putting himself/herself in someone else's shoes.- moskaudancer, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3The fact that I have been dugg down for such an unequivocally empathetic statement is a response in and of itself, and a depressing one at that.
There's a huge difference between fearing for your own safety and fearing for the well-being of people who depend on you.- cranium, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3So buy some life insurance and go...
- Turpoid, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Moskaudancer.....i think i can say this without sounding mean or insensitive, so please give my comment some room for thought. The powers that be are taking away your childrens future and selling it to the military-industrial-complex. Remember as congress gives more and more money to support the war that this money has to be paid back by someone. Based on the fact that it's printed by the federal reserve FROM THIN AIR that it continues to lose it's value in a national as well as a global economy. Additionally, the war is being used to strip you and your children of their rights and freedoms....all of them. Look, me and you, by ourselves could never do anything to make a difference against such tyranny. This is as real an opportunity to take back what is about to be taken from you anyway. If you truly love your children and want the best for them....please come out and try to help. (no, i am NOT saying that you don't love your children if you don't go) This is the biggest effort in current history to try and take down a fascist dictatorship. This IS what america has become. The only thing left is to define the second amendment as being applicable only to militants, and then *poof*, no more weapons to protect ourselves. Then it's sent off to prisons if we dissent in any way whatsoever. But it's the financial problems that will take the largest toll on us. Middle-class jobs are gone. Seriously....the manufacturing sector dissappeared, and now the technological sector is being removed. Education is intentionally becoming harder and harder to afford, attain, and maintain. Health-care is non-existent, prescription drug companies are consolidating the market to decrease competition and jack up drug prices for better returns. They're doing this by lobbying congress.
So, before you think that you shouldn't go, think about this.......what should you be more afraid of....facing arrest today for your children's rights and freedoms of tomorrow...or letting their world come crumbling down around them and never giving them a chance for their COMPLETE lives. Clothing and feeding your children isn't going to do them any good if they live a life of torment, torture and famine. All of which you are trying to give them now. Do this.....please go. If this becomes as big as it seems it's going to be, then there are not enough military and police personel to do anything to us. Take your country back for your children. That's what is really happening...it's not false, or virtual, or something that doesn't affect your daily life. It already has, and it's about to get DRAMATICALLY worse..... Please....we need you now more than ever in OUR lifetime. Stand WITH us......or at least behind us. This is too important. This IS the best thing you can do for you and your children.- xister, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Couldn't have said it better. If you have children I understand you not wanting to go, but this is an issue that affects their future.
- moskaudancer, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3The fact that I have been dugg down for such an unequivocally empathetic statement is a response in and of itself, and a depressing one at that.
- bitcloud, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7This calls for a classic Digg comment from BiggD:
"The question is, "If I can't overcome (and am therefore enslaved by) my own addictions to TV, junk food, a wasteful commuter lifestyle, what have you, how can I reasonably expect to not be enslaved by opportunistic external masters?"
A nation of slaves will manifest as an enslaved nation. Only a nation of sovereigns can manifest as a sovereign nation"
- tacklebox, on 10/10/2007, -22/+7I heard they're having a parade too. Bin Laden is the grand marshal. I cant wait. The bleeding heart media said anti-war, I cant think for myself, so anti-war it is. woot!!
- bitcloud, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4you're pro-war? you people actually exist? I thought you would have died by now from a cutlery accident whereby you accidentally pierced your eye with a fork because you couldn't manage your basic motor skills whilst simultaneously trying to remember to breathe...

- Touchy610, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1As a gamer, I feel oddly insulted by that fact....
- nastronomical, on 10/10/2007, -7/+3It had nothing to do with freedom of speech. It had nothing to do with the right of assembly. That is what you see because that's what you want to see. What the police saw was the violation of the law, rolling (apparently illegal) paste onto city property to display their posters (maybe without a permit?). They were ALREADY punished regarding this before, so the cops were doing their jobs.
Let this be a lesson to you idiots: doing the same thing and expecting different results is a sign of stupidty.
-- Common Sense- onewingedangel9, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Who said they were expecting different results? Their results were getting arrested and getting their messege out. They say on the site, if you participate in the Die-in you have possibility of arrest. They are being civilly disobedient. Arrest is an expected result.
- Ellipsys, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4They even stated in the video it was a completely safe wheat-paste. Nothing that isn't biodegradable or leaves unsightly marks on the city. I live in MoCo, so I travel to DC often. There are TONS of posters around in DC - for cultural events, concerts... all on public light poles etc... and nobody does a damn thing about them. No, this was a specific reaction to the type of poster it was. Not the poster. Not the paste.
- liberalcowgirl, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1First of all nastronomical, not to be petty , but in the future, when calling someone's actions a "sign of [stupidty]", you may want to make sure you spell the key word correctly.
Secondly, as for the whole quote, "Let this be a lesson to you idiots: doing the same thing and expecting different results is a sign of stupidty", is like asking people to give up and just accept the status quo---because attempting to change it the first time didn't work. Things rarely work the first time, and the things that matter usually require fighting for, and read Ellipsys point carefully---because he/she has a good one. Police may be doing their job, but if they are, they are being told by some oppressive power to silence our voices---and only our voices; if we shout loud enough, and for long enough, they'll hear it.
Enough fearing the government, and on to government fearing its people.

If you absolutely positively want to trample the constitution, vote for a Democrat- Touchy610, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You are speaking of past events, not things that are happening in this day. In my opinion, the Republican party, in the past, was worthy of much respect and admiration, and the Democratic party did things that are not worthy of the same.
But, today, the Republican party is being lead by a fool that is only out for his own interests. I rarely comment on anything political simply because, in this day and age, both of the major parties in the US are only out for power. I find the words of any politician that is running for an office extremely hard to believe because of this.

They should have absolutely no more power than a normal citizen unless the law has been broken. Hanging posters *IS NOT* illegal in DC, they are everywhere. Neither are public gatherings AFAIK(I've seen them alot since I live here).
So when a police officer gives you a 'direct order' to allow him/her into your home then they should be allowed to? That's what we need more blind acceptance of authoritarians that barely graduated high school. - muppetFuckr, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Why the ***** should some police officer be able to give me a 'direct order'.
- tlgjames, on 10/10/2007, -8/+3Another march that'll do nothing, probably won't get more than 15 seconds on cnn unless something dramatic happens.
- RoboJesus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Well sitting around and doing nothing is going to accomplish even less...Maybe if people were less defeatist and joined in the protest something would actually be accomplished.
- tlgjames, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2No it won't, the only thing that matters is getting young people to vote, which still isn't happening.
- RoboJesus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I don't think that's the ONLY thing that matters. I'd venture to guess that there are LOTS of things that matter, and having a population willing to protest and stand up for what they believe in is one of those things.
- tlgjames, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2No it won't, the only thing that matters is getting young people to vote, which still isn't happening.
- bsmang, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Well then, for the sake of the union, I hope something dramatic happens. (er.. As long as it doesn't wipe out protesters!)
- RoboJesus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Well sitting around and doing nothing is going to accomplish even less...Maybe if people were less defeatist and joined in the protest something would actually be accomplished.
- evilbob333, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4so much for listening to the generals
- Dotnetsky, on 10/10/2007, -17/+7Yeah, Hippies suck. I know cause I was one of them. I peed on the Pentagon Wall. I had no idea what I was doing or what I believed in. I DIDN'T THINK. Grow up, libtards.
- RoboJesus, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5And what do you believe in now? Just because you were an idiot hippie doesn't mean that all protesters are. Hell, some of them even have valid, logical thoughts.
- spaceb0y, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2Curious, I see many conservatives who simply do not think for themselves, as well. Maybe something else accounts for your former affiliation with the hippie subculture, then? Drugs, maybe?
- SheilaNoya, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Sounds like the drugs you did during your "hippie" days have caused you some serious brain damage.
- backglass, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Idiot. Twice.
- Thaum, on 10/10/2007, -7/+1Just stop fighting.
- OffPiste, on 10/10/2007, -10/+4If I was stupid and didn't bathe regularly I'd go to. Chicks with leg and arm hair turn me on.
- Syphermce, on 10/10/2007, -16/+5Anti-War...what a joke. Can't have peace without war first kiddos.
- omega6, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Our war for peace was fought centuries ago. This war was not about peace, unless you count the peace that the oil conglomerates will get from making so much money. Not to mention all the contractors overcharging the money you give to the gov't. Well I suppose if that gives you peace then rock on.
- nukewinter, on 10/10/2007, -4/+6Please explain to me how an illegal, unjust war against a nation who posed no threat to us has anything to do with spreading peace?
- p0tent1al, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4digg him down if you must sheep, your president declared an illegal war. You must go through congress before declaring wars. Your president should be in jail for starting an illegal war, yet you still support him.
- bitcloud, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I guess you can't have intelligence without moronic war-mongering first either...
- Ellipsys, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I'm not Anti-War. I'm Anti-/THIS/-War.
- Ebacherville, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Ask Switzerland if thats the case.
- metric7, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Actually Bush never declared war so this is just a..um...uh.. police action?
- crazywarthog, on 10/10/2007, -18/+4Excellent ! This gives the communist, socialist, anarchist and democrats something to do. Kinda like midnight basketball.
- spaceb0y, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Ok, I was following you with the alternative forms of government (or lack thereof) theme, until.... Democrats? You do realize that's a political party only made possible by our current form of government, right?
- Coridan, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Ooh, ooh, can I play the irrational name calling game too?
Excellent ! This gives serial killers, child molesters, necrophiliacs, and war mongering Satan worshipers an excuse to assault peace full, law abiding, protesters!
- hittnrun, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2Are you losers still calling in sick to work and school on 9/11 or not? What did Bin Laden tell you to do? What I find incredible is the story about Germany stopping a 9/11 terrorist plan 2 days ago and it can't make the Digg top ten. Now, after a little searching, the Bin Lden tape has yet to make the top ten, yet ANY crackpot, moonbat inspired story from Rawstory.cum immediatly goes to the top ten. How? Oh, and as I requested before, please include your actual age with your posts so I can tell if you are a 10 year old who got loose on mom's computer or an adult liberal who has been stricken with arrested development. Your cooperation is appreciated.
- onewingedangel9, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0If Bin Laden tapes are not making it into digg we aren't taking orders from him, are we? Honestly if you ignore those tapes you are doing a greater service to America than the news networks that play them and politicians that reference them. Why give him any airtime? The people who need to know that stuff are the ones that have the originals. The experts who are supposedly hunting him. For the rest of us, we really don't need to know what he thinks whenever he decides to make another tape.
- omega6, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9I for one salute the efforts of those people that will go and protest this war. Anyone who doesn't support this march doesn't understand the core values of what this nation is supported on. We are the people, and this is our country. This country does not belong to the rich or the powerful. This country is founded on we the people, by the people and for the people.
We are not United Corporations of America, nor are we the Facist States of America. We are the United States of America and united we must all stand for what is logical and reasonable, for without logic and reason we are blind and feeble.
The will of the people is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object. -Thomas Jefferson - chrissandvick, on 10/10/2007, -10/+3For the marchers: Good men and women are going to die because of your actions. When you march your faces may not be seen on Fox but they will be seen in Riyadh, Damascus, and Tehran. Your march will give hope to the Jihadist, "America will be defeated. And they are the way." And that hope will kill and kill again. Americans: fathers, sons, mothers, and children are going to die because of you.
While you march, take a good look at the ground. Some of that dust, blown on the wind, you see is the vaporized remains of 2993 people, killed by men who knew marchers like you exist. Hoped your cowardice, your fear, your blindness would make your fellow citizens your enemy and not them. They counted on your treason. Oh the United States is not at war, your safe from legal consequence.
Your treason is moral. And there is no god to pass judgment on you. But of the rest of us are not going to forget, and we are not going to forgive. We will judge, you have blood on your hands.- RoboJesus, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1WTF???? Dugg up just because it's so ***** crazy.
- SheilaNoya, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Are you for real? The protestors aren't the ones who sent American troops into Muslim lands under false pretenses. That was YOUR incompetent president who did that. Geez... You sound just like Sean Hannity and his mindless ilk.
- onewingedangel9, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3What aids the Jihadists is the destruction of Iraq incurred by Bush. If you think all terrorists care about is America you are blinded. Since 9/11 there have been numerous terrorist actions in Europe. Getting the strength to march against a war that aids terrorism is not cowardice, blindness, or fear.
Riyadh, Damascus, and Tehran will see the march and see that the Bush Administration does not represent the will of the American people. We are not the ones killing thousands of Iraqi civilians, but the corrupt policies of corporate officials. - Ellipsys, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4You sir, are the most jingoistic, brainwashed, excuse for human waste I've seen on Digg. That's saying a lot. Good show. Good show. You actually have drank and reveled in the koolaid. It saddens me greatly that my vote is for some reason counted with the same validity as yours. However, I am happy that mine shall always, always cancel yours out
- chrissandvick, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Then you are going to have to vote Republican 2008. Hillary's probably going to be as aggressive as Bush ever was in pursuing Islamic terrorism.
- bsmang, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1No way.. Hillary would never be as stupid as bush has been. She may fight strongly where fighting is due, but she won't go on a spree to ***** the whole country to make herself and her buddies wealthy. For one thing, she certainly won't pick the head of Haliburton as her running mate. And for another, she's got a pretty bright guy for a husband, who will probably be able to give her some very sound advice from his inside yet background position.
- backglass, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Idiot.
- metric7, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Get ready Iran is next then Syria , Lebanon...ect.
- stepnw1f, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Did you forget to take your meds?
- SheilaNoya, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5There sure seems to be a lot of pro-war rednecks on this site today. Did Rush Limbaugh provide a link for you idiots to follow, or what?
- bsmang, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I was thinking the same thing.
- metric7, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1There are plenty of anti-war Rednecks too.
- onewingedangel9, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0good to hear.
