- zoezack, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14The truth needs to be made known! The currant administration is the most secretive in US history.
- SOS84, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13There is nothing more American than reigning in the anti-American actions of the current regime. Maybe you should read the Constitution some time?
- zweben, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11Kudos to the three republicans for breaking from the group.
- DrMonkeyLove, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9Dear Politicians,
We, the American people, would like you to give us back our country today, before we have to take it back tomorrow. - chuck667, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8It stops wankers coming in and replying to the first post just so their comment is on top, even though their post has nothing to do with the original post they are replying to.
A good move by Digg. - inhaler, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8I think I've heard this moonbat song and dance before from you. Instead of assuming a bias position against anything progressive, consider the possibility that those in power might have made a mistake in the first place. No one here "Hate's America" other than those individuals who fail to dream that it could be better than what it is now.
- Twango, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8Hey! the Dems found a third of a ball somwhere.
- soccerman90, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7Thank god, it finally sounds like they are doing something. But they will probably end up taking no action like they always do. George Bush needs to be impeached. He has broken so many laws and broken so many laws of the constitution, it saddens me
- tuoteg, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6Being as I am a constituent of Senator Hatch I am surprised that he voted with the democrats to authorize the subpoenas.
- knomevol, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6Senator Leahy: THANK YOU!!!
- soccerman90, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6liberalplacebo, you represent everything wrong with our country. Pull your head out of your ass and realize what the hell is going on
- knomevol, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I shudder when I hear such a thing, because I know then someone's name is probably put on a terrorist watch list.
But, you know, you are right. The founding fathers insisted it be so. The Declaration of Independence made it clear, and the Constitution of the United States sealed it.
And I agree. - edesignweb, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3the oranges are 2 dollars a pound at the market.
- knomevol, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4impeached? tried for treason!
- soccerman90, on 10/11/2007, -4/+6It looks like they are actually doing something to stop the injustices of the government. George Bush needs to be impeached. He has broken so many laws and many parts of the constitution. Its like he pretends it doesnt exist
- zweben, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2It appears they fixed whatever problem it had the first time they launched it that caused it to be so slow. It's fast now.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2LOL
Retard.
There is NO war on "terror". Terrorism is a tactic. Boxers don't have wars on right hooks. Same thing.
Your comment illustrates rightard ignorance and lack of rational thought.
I'm sure there's an enlistment office near you. Why don't you get your fat ass off the couch and sign up?
Then you can put all your effort into supporting a war you seem keen on.
But you won't. Cowards cheer from the rear, loser. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Likely reply to subpoenas:
"You can't handle the truth!" - knomevol, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I'm not a constituent of his, but know him in my mind as amongst the ultra-conservative. Surprised as well.

Whats that all about? - kreneskyp, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1because he knows that any documents this administration hasn't destroyed or been forgotten will just be claimed as executive privilege. Unless they start charging people with obstruction of justice these supoenas aren't going to do much at all (unfortunately)
- demicritter, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1They're trying to create as many distractions as possible to provide cover for their shamnesty efforts. Stay tuned for the Leaky Leahy smoke and mirrors act next.
- soccerman90, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2sounds good to me
- demicritter, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1There is also nothing more anti-American that that laziness and apathetic approach of dullards who make such broad and generalized nonsensical statements.
- demicritter, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Yea, it is ironic that the Leakster is leading the charge for protecting terrorists.
- DrMonkeyLove, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Why? People like Ron Paul, Ralph Nader, Ross Perot, have always said stuff like this. I'm not like all the prepubescent Diggers out there advocating violent revolution. That's completely idiotic. That would be the absolute worst solution to the problem. When I say take our country back, I simply mean throw out all the slimy politicians with our votes. It's not hard, and it's perfectly civilized. If the politicians keep screwing around, then we'll just get rid of them with our votes. Simple as that. You want to take the country back, start voting out everyone who voted for a bridge to ***** nowhere. That would be a good start. If the American people want their country back, they simply have to cast their vote in a reasonable fashion. It'll happen eventually when we get totally sick of the same old crap. Right now though, the American people aren't in a horrible situation. They're all pretty comfortable sitting at home watching TV. 2008 might be the year where enough people are sick of the ways things have been going, and they get out there and take the country back by throwing out the politicians who are screwing it up.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3WTF is up with this new comment system. This is awful.
- technogenius, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2@liberalplacebo: Did you just get done listening to Mark Levin?
- NJank, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2oohh... now we're naming each administration after a type of fruit? Hmmm... I guess Clinton gets the bananna...
- soccerman90, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1please digg this comment down
- HaywoodGiablomi, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Senator Leahy: THANK YOU!!! Sure, it's about f***ing time, but THANK YOU!
Still, I'm hanging on to my contribution $$$ until something actually comes of it. - Scheissen, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1I think the buttons just suck. Other than that, it's a good idea.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -35/+3I wish Patrick Leahy were more interested in winning the War on Terror and less interested in sabotaging our efforts. Make noooooooo mistake about it, Leaky Leahy is part of the "Hate AMerica First" crowd.....
thinkprogress.org = barking liberal moonbats
