"Senate Democrats Unveil New Energy Tax Plan"
news.yahoo.com — Democrats in the Senate on Wednesday unveiled a new energy package that would revoke $17 billion in tax breaks extended to big oil companies like Exxon Mobil Corp and slap a 25 percent windfall profits tax on firms that don't invest in new energy sources.

Our politicians should be out there proposing positive legislation regardless of the likelihood of it passing; keep trying to spread the will of the American people that voted for them.

Something, anything different would help at this point. Some CEOs only understand the language of money, so if taxing them more helps I'm all for it.
