- tabularassa, on 06/04/2009, -32/+719Spreading lies and ignorance at his best, while calling himself a patriot.
What a ***** clown. - Batfishy, on 06/04/2009, -34/+622This is so infuriating! No wonder some people want Fox off the air. Hannity is an embarrassment and a joke. His viewers/listeners will simply hear Hannity's absurd claim and the rumor will never die.
Oh, and he makes my skin crawl. - subscriber, on 06/04/2009, -31/+599I know that a lot of conservatives believe that Fox News is simply the counter to liberal leaning outlets of the media, and that Hannity just has a different bias than those other outlets have. But there is a difference between slanting a story based on a bias, and deliberately mis-characterizing a story outright. Hannity is telling lies to support his extreme prejudice, and that is different from simply reporting with a bias.
To Conservatives: While there is most certainly a bias creeping into almost any story you read, please recognize that Fox News is not a good source for a legitimate conservative view. - IrishJoe, on 06/04/2009, -19/+278Let’s see what Obama actually said. In an interview with Laura Haim on Canal Plus, a French television station, Barack Obama said, "And one of the points I want to make is, is that if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we'd be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world. And so there’s got to be a better dialogue and a better understanding between the two peoples."
Well, Sean, there are about 8 million Muslim Americans. That's more Muslims than a lot of countries. But there are about 40 countries in the world with more Muslims than the US. One of the largest? Well, we're in the top 50. So I guess it depends on how you want to look at it.
But anyway you want to cut it, 8 million Muslim Americans is a sizable number. So I guess what he’s trying to say to the “Muslim World” is that with 8 million Muslim Americans you can think of the US being part of this “Muslim World,” too. I think he’s trying to find common ground with Muslims throughout the world so that they won’t always look at the US as this alien anti-Muslim place. By doing this we steal some of the power that Islamic extremists who are trying to boost the number of potential anti-American terrorists have. By highlighting that there are millions of Muslims in the US, young disaffected Muslims are less likely to sign up with extremist anti-American groups. It’s a pretty smart move on his part. Thanks for pointing out that Obama’s outsmarting the terrorists, Sean. - richmomz, on 06/05/2009, -23/+231I think Hannity and reality parted ways a loooooong time ago.
- WMurderface, on 06/04/2009, -24/+208Assuming he knows he is spreading lies, he is an evil man.
- rickrickrick, on 06/05/2009, -11/+169this is just too funny. America was founded as a "Christian Nation"? people just have no ***** regard for history.
- Batfishy, on 06/05/2009, -11/+164Yes, we all know what Obama said and that's why we know Hannity is up to his usual *****.
- Batfishy, on 06/05/2009, -11/+159Of course I listened to the entire speech. Hannity out and out lied to his viewers.
You need to sharpen your critical thinking and listening skills. - northwatuppa, on 06/04/2009, -23/+159I find it hard to believe there are enough rabid wingnuts out there to support FoxNews. Who listens to this stuff???
- Zippo, on 06/05/2009, -19/+150Ugh... I want to be able to respect both sides of the political spectrum. I'd like be able to say "You know what, I don't agree with your ideals, but you're honest and I respect your opinions"
But all I see coming from the right-side these days is absolute *****, ignorance, and lies. I'm not saying the left side is pure, bunnies and rainbows, but at least they're not making up ***** every five minutes and trying to turn their own people on each other. - lanemik, on 06/05/2009, -9/+128I'm going to make a wild guess and say that DavidNiven didn't actually watch the video OR Obama's speech.
- lanemik, on 06/05/2009, -9/+117@DavidNiven
Clearly you only hear what the right wants you to hear. - inactive, on 06/05/2009, -12/+113David, I see you're trolling digg, and I think I speak for the majority of the community when I say this: You're a *****.
- Taiyoryu, on 06/05/2009, -4/+105Hannity presupposes that the US is a "Christian Nation" to start with. Last I checked this country wasn't a theocracy, Christian or otherwise.
- guntario, on 06/05/2009, -7/+108A real conservative like myself already knows this.
- Tryptomine, on 06/05/2009, -4/+103So if I said "I like bunnies" and you quote me saying this and use your opinion to interpret it into "KILL ALL JEWS" that's not a distortion at all? Because its your opinion?
- DangerCollie, on 06/05/2009, -22/+114The right wing increasingly reminds me of a rabid dog biting at everything. Mindless, inconsolable, foaming at the mouth at the least provocation. And, in the absence of provocation, inventing something to be offended about.
- kinseyincanada, on 06/05/2009, -8/+100"We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation, or a Jewish nation, or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens, who are bound by ideals."
That is what Obama said, Hannity is an idiot. - lanemik, on 06/05/2009, -3/+90@AnotherDiggGuy

Welcome to the internet moran. - Seminarian, on 06/04/2009, -8/+94Evidently, Hannity is unable to follow that kind of logic. Either that, or, as one person suggested, he's simply evil. When it got to the clip of him saying that Obama is destroying our country, I cringed.
- inactive, on 06/05/2009, -3/+87fox news isn't reporting.
- pixburgher, on 06/05/2009, -4/+80ahh Conservative logic...
If people get mad at you, it proves you must be right! - Dipsomaniac, on 06/05/2009, -5/+73No, Obama didn't say that.
What's with the lying? - magusg, on 06/05/2009, -2/+70wait, what? Impeach him on what grounds?
- MrJagil, on 06/05/2009, -10/+78Jesus ***** christ. This is the most retarded thing I've heard in a long long time. The fact that there are so many viewers of Fox in America (there must be since it's still on air) scares the ***** out of me.
Damn I'm happy to live in Denmark... - Antialias, on 06/05/2009, -6/+72So you're saying the US Census numbers are wrong?
- mccartyba, on 06/05/2009, -4/+70But you can't have an opinion saying that someone said something they didn't, especially if he just said the actual quote. That's called fabrication.
- DCTBSBN, on 06/05/2009, -23/+87This guy is just a straight up racist, why haven't we learned to just expect his hate?
- inactive, on 06/05/2009, -2/+66Conservatives don't listen to Hannity anyway. Only idiots do that.
Shep Smith is the only guy on Fox News worth half a damn. - glasnostic, on 06/05/2009, -7/+69dude.. you can't use reason on trolls.. everybody knows that.
- Rell812, on 06/05/2009, -2/+62oh god.
- Firstdaughter, on 06/05/2009, -3/+63Correction: He's an ASSclown like his friend Beck.
- cosworth99, on 06/05/2009, -13/+72On my car forum, there is a significant amount of posters who still think Obama is a Muslim. I've tried to politely point out that he is not, but they are convinced that he is and that some evil is afoot at Circle K. This is a European manufactured car forum. Not some redneck truck mud bog hangout.
Scares the pants off me to think some people in America are this obtuse and lead quality, productive lives spreading lies to their co-workers and children alike. - inactive, on 06/05/2009, -15/+71I would give away my savings for the opportunity to punch him in the face.
- Batfishy, on 06/04/2009, -7/+63Everyone in TX except my sister and I. Sad...
- moses141, on 06/05/2009, -9/+65Not only that, but there's no doubt he's inciting a bunch of right-wing nutjobs to want to assassinate Obama. Hannity sounds more and more like Bin Laden every day.
- silkheat, on 06/05/2009, -14/+69Sean is an absolute duechebag. Problem is he poses as a fiscal conservative which gives us all a bad name. BTW the founding fathers were deist; not Christians.
- uptwolait, on 06/05/2009, -4/+59Yes, the "*****-detecting nerve".
- richirwin, on 06/05/2009, -9/+64You, DavidNiven, are a ***** liar.
You heard no such thing.
That's right. You're a liar. - pixelate, on 06/05/2009, -4/+58He explained it perfectly. More clearly and succinctly than you did. The only way to misinterpret it is if you a) don't have a strong grasp of English or b) have a day job where you skim over things the President says until you reach a word or phrase that will sound inflammatory if you repeat it often enough.
What. The. *****.
Fox's advertisers really wouldn't blink at this kind of thing anymore? Can someone find out? - WasabiBomb, on 06/05/2009, -3/+57Oh, look, it's a "clever" nickname for the President. I love it when idiots self-identify... makes them easier to ignore.
- sizzzzlerz, on 06/05/2009, -4/+58Identify the point in the speech where Obama said that or shut the ***** up, otherwise, people might think your bitterness at losing the election is clouding your thinking skills.
- WasabiBomb, on 06/05/2009, -5/+59... your point being?
Just 'cause he hit a nerve doesn't mean that he was actually right. - inactive, on 06/05/2009, -7/+60The U.S. CONSTITUTION says otherwise.
"Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Ratified 12/15/1791.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" - DankBuddz, on 06/05/2009, -6/+55"Truth hurts, don't it?"
Uhh.... my brain does, trying to figure out how pathetically dumb you are. - Drahkir, on 06/05/2009, -8/+56This kind of thing normally pisses me off but this is just too funny. Obama tries to illustrate a point, Hannity spins it into nonsense, and there are STILL people that agree with Hannity LOL Honestly, all you diggers defending Hannity: Do you REALLY think that Obama was trying to say that we are a Muslim nation? Really? You don't think that he was clearly trying to simply compare the size of our Muslim population with other Muslim nations? If you answered yes, then your cognitive dissonance is simply beyond reason.
- WasabiBomb, on 06/05/2009, -8/+56So is this like when Michelle Obama said that she was never proud of America? Or when Rev. Wright said that America was damned by God?
What is it with the Conservative fascination with what they THINK the other side said? - JoeMondo, on 06/05/2009, -8/+53Hannity, Beck, Malkin and Rush are competing for the ever shrinking - but ever more lunatic - conservative fringe.
Consequently they need to outdo each other the capture their share of the market.
Remember: they're not there to report the news, or to benefit the nation in anyway - they just want to make money by any means necessary. - mccartyba, on 06/05/2009, -1/+46Nice troll, there.
