- juniorb, on 12/05/2007, -3/+65I said the same thing in 2002, and people called me "unpatriotic."
- Insightful, on 12/05/2007, -2/+54Which is more likely:: 16 US intelligence agencies conspired to create politically motivated national intelligence report that represented their consensus opinion (and manage to keep that a secret) or that our President is lying or stupid (or both)? Occam's Razor says it is the latter.
Oh, conservatives gripe is that if the first NIE on Iraq is not accurate, how can we trust this one? One thing they are not telling you is that there were disagreements among the intelligence agencies on whether Iraq possessed WMD but Cheney and his crew ignored and suppressed those dissensions. There is no such disagreement this time.
Furthermore, this confirms the Iran findings of Mohamed ElBaradei, Director General of IAEA, who was proved right on Iraq and who was the co-recipient of the 2005 Nobel Peace Prize.
So, who are you going to trust? The sixteen US intelligence agencies plus IAEA or this administration and their supporters? - laterthandawn, on 12/05/2007, -1/+48Wow...I agree with Joe Scarborough...awkward.
I'm off to have a good cry. - Ozzsanity, on 12/05/2007, -1/+27Has George Bush ever told the truth??
- inactive, on 12/05/2007, -3/+25"Either the President of the United States is lying to the American people about what happened during that meeting, or the President of the United States is stupid." Perhaps, but either one is irrelevant because Americans will still do nothing to hold him accountable.
- Loonacy, on 12/05/2007, -1/+20First you have to figure out what he's saying before you can determine if he's telling the truth.
- adooga, on 12/05/2007, -0/+18To hear that from Joe Scarborough of all people, that has to be a good thing. We may be reaching a tipping point.
Can't wait for the neocons to call Scarborough "liberal media" though. - inactive, on 12/05/2007, -1/+17conversely, now that gw is the lamest of lame ducks it's safe for him to spout this sort of rhetoric.
don't get me wrong, i'm in full agreement that the smirking chimp is an idiot, but where were
these ***** 5 years ago? asking tough questions? i think not. - Rossoneri22, on 12/05/2007, -2/+14I really used to dislike this guy, but wow has he changed. I give him a lot of respect for realizing that his country is going down the ***** fast and having the balls to stand up and speak the truth when SO many others are too pussy or brainwashed to do the same.
- gonegoogling, on 12/05/2007, -2/+14now thats a true daily double
- HippyInASuit, on 12/05/2007, -0/+11You're stupid if it took you this long to figure out that Bush is a lying idiot!
- Camaroman, on 12/05/2007, -3/+14Am I living in a dream world? I can't believe this ***** is actually happening. How far do thinks have to go before people start to wake up! I'm so frustrated right now.
- greendalek, on 12/05/2007, -0/+10Bold assertions, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for any kind of decisive action. The White House spin machine will fast-talk its way out, Congressional Democrats will bravely step up and do nothing, and the rest of America will keep on watching The View, occasionally changing channels just long enough to ooh and aah at the exciting footage of cruise missiles obliterating some heathen furrin' country beginning with "Ir."
- SOS84, on 12/05/2007, -1/+11We already know the president is both stupid and a liar.
Move along, nothing to see here. - khail250, on 12/05/2007, -3/+12In their eyes Muslims=terrorists(100% of them) they don't view them to be people... sad :(
why is there so much hate? - SleepingOrange, on 12/05/2007, -1/+10bla bla bla. Everyone is all talk, no one does anything. "someone's going to talk and things are going to get really ugly really fast"
Yes, that would actually be nice if SOMETHING HAPPENED. We know Bush is a ***** liar, we know America is losing it's civil freedoms, yet no one does anything. - thentro, on 12/05/2007, -1/+10Xbox live != the real world
- andrewmcintyre, on 12/05/2007, -1/+9The emperor has no clothes
- MWeather, on 12/05/2007, -1/+9"its what sociopaths do, to avoid guilt."
No, That's what makes them NOT sociopaths. Sociopaths don't need to rationalize. They don't care if their actions affect others.. - 11oops, on 12/05/2007, -1/+8I'll take Worst Presidents Ever for $200 please
- yohnstoppable, on 12/05/2007, -1/+8"I am the decider. As the decider, I make decisions"
I guess you could say that was an honest statement. Although I doubt someone that stupid actually makes any decisions on his own. Damnit, I guess I was wrong ;( - stilesja, on 12/05/2007, -2/+9The two are not mutually exclusive
- HarrietTubman, on 12/05/2007, -0/+7Several years and countless lives too late. However, I do agree!
- atomic811, on 12/05/2007, -0/+6maybe its time to stop "asking"
- epiccollision, on 12/05/2007, -0/+6wtf ru talking about
- induren, on 12/05/2007, -0/+6Scarborough is a moron. The president is both lying AND stupid.
- spongebue, on 12/05/2007, -0/+5Does he have to be one or the other? Couldn't it be both?
- Quaterni0n, on 12/05/2007, -0/+5Then stop whining and do something.
- thentro, on 12/05/2007, -0/+4Both. He is so selective in his understanding of the world that he will tell lies with out even understanding them as lies.
- inactive, on 12/05/2007, -0/+4Glad someone in the MSM has woken up to this one single story on one single day, but the masses aren't intelligent or informed enough to do anything about anything anymore. Everyone is owned and walking around in a culture-drugged daze. All people care about is Warcraft, NASCAR, Paris Hilton, or American Idol. If it doesn't fall into one of those types of categories, they are oblivious.
- inactive, on 12/05/2007, -0/+4I think it is clear Bush is officially a lame duck at this point considering this attempt to pull off yet another Iraq style war, based on cooked or faulty intelligence is clearly being defied by the defense community at large.
In any case it is clear the world in general has had enough of these chicken hawk's loud squawking. So expect continuing economic fall out for years to come due to the very poor image and zero creditability the US now presents to the world. Just today Egypt has diverted an order of 60,000 tons of wheat from the US to Russia causing and intimidate drop in wheat futures here. This kind of thing translates directly to farmers bottom line. - inactive, on 12/05/2007, -2/+6Golly, here's another right wing moron who has decided the intelligence service in the US has gotten it all wrong.
What makes some rightard jackass sitting on his fat ass think he knows more about it than our professional intelligence agencies?
Man, that right wing hubris is beyond believable.
This is just a WOW moment.
The report comes out, and the entire right wing gang pretend they know more about than the pros.
Bunch of ignorant self-impressed losers with zero integrity.
How do you live with yourself? - bamirza, on 12/05/2007, -1/+5Wish it were possible to do exponential diggs! I really could not agree more, I've never felt so frustrated in my whole life. Granted I'm only 26, but almost every day I hear more and more bad news... economy, war, right wing takeover, housing market, foreign relations in the *****...etc. Where is the pride of being an American? This is the ***** USA, why doesn't it feel like that anymore? WE NEED CHANGE, and I don't mean "Bring in a Democrat". I mean WE NEED CHANGE, our next leader better have the balls to fix some of these messes!
- inactive, on 12/05/2007, -1/+5"I've heard rumors on the internets."
- alphaterminus, on 12/06/2007, -0/+3I'm probably to the right of most of America. And you, sir, are a retard.
- appleann1, on 12/06/2007, -0/+3Or to keep his job on ultra liberal MSNBC.
- peaceofpie, on 12/05/2007, -3/+6I think finally people are beginning to see that the Bush Administration must be impeached. I believe Dennis Kucinich is trying to get more members of Congress to sign his impeachment bill. Make sure you contact your representatives and have them support impeaching Bush and Cheney. I want the next President to know the American people will not be lied to without paying for it with jail time. Please take time to look at information about Dennis Kucinich because he does not lie and has stood up against the Bush lies from the beginning.
- inactive, on 12/05/2007, -3/+6Only the right wing asshats called you unpatriotic.
The sane, rational people and those who love the truth agreed with you. - liquisoft, on 12/06/2007, -0/+3When Joe Scarborough calls Bush a liar or an idiot (or both), you know the ***** has officially hit the fan. This is the same guy that has defended this administration time after time, and now he realizes that the same administration is seriously up to no good.
- cybrguy, on 12/05/2007, -1/+4Give money to Ron Paul, Support his campaign. If he is elected something will be DONE. About a great many things.
- inactive, on 12/05/2007, -1/+4Keep in mind he probably is doing it for ratings. It's ok to still despise the man.
- spawnfree, on 12/05/2007, -4/+7they start with "we should have free access to all their resources"
anything that has to be believed in order to get that main belief fulfilled conveniently becomes true.
its what sociopaths do, to avoid guilt. That's why they don't make sense and get angry when you prove them wrong.
There are sociopaths on the liberal side too, just passive aggressive ones. - CannedMango, on 12/05/2007, -1/+4To GuitaristTom:
Maybe it was the "empire" part that brought down Rome - Curlz31, on 12/06/2007, -0/+3He is one or a combination of:
- Mentally retarded
- Homocidal maniac
- Neocon puppet - dafragsta, on 12/05/2007, -3/+6zing!
- trolleyfan, on 12/05/2007, -0/+3I've been voting "smart" for a quarter-century - and have elected exactly nobody.
No, correct that, once in 2000 I _didn't_ vote smart and instead voted for the lesser of two evils, because I thought it was important to avoid the greater. And for once, the person I voted for actually got the most votes!
...and he still didn't win.
Voting doesn't work. Government doesn't work. And it never will.
David - writerwriter, on 12/05/2007, -0/+3President Bush lie to the US public? NO! Say it ain't so, Joe!
Wait.... which time are you talking about..... - chase001, on 12/06/2007, -0/+2c) All Of The Above.
- inactive, on 12/05/2007, -2/+4I guess you don't bother perusing the neocon and right wing sites.
Go on to LGF and find me the articles where they talk about the GOOD muslims.
Can't find them? Gee, what a surprise. -
