- Apokalyps2547, on 05/12/2008, -11/+106Let's make a Digg post every time some supedelegates make a decision. Seems reasonable. There are only 747.
- wickensworth, on 05/12/2008, -6/+32That superdelegate who pledged support for Hillary on Saturday is a shrewd observer of the political climate
- otis12, on 05/12/2008, -10/+34Obama just kicks so much ass (mainly Hillary's ass)
- jlee2081, on 05/12/2008, -7/+30seriously...what are the other super delegates waiting for?
- goomba323, on 05/12/2008, -2/+19There's only about 3 weeks left in the process, if you endured the "Political Spam" (starting with Kucinich, escalating to ridiculous heights with Paul, and now hitting the mainstream with Obama) for this long, what's 3 more weeks?
- aliengoods, on 05/12/2008, -10/+27How often can we post stories about superdelegates then? Surely no one on a social news site would be so presumptuous to digg up stories that interest them if it hurt your feelings.
- RomeyRome, on 05/12/2008, -2/+19Goodbye election category...
- wild, on 05/12/2008, -4/+18We're doing our best. It has been happening so quick its hard to keep up.
- catachip, on 05/12/2008, -4/+18It's called a social news site for a reason. This is what we are interested in right now. I hear Yahoo's "Buzz" is looking for some readers. Maybe want to give them a try: buzz.yahoo.com
- Fordi, on 05/12/2008, -0/+12Fine.
As per my current habit of posting standings...

....Delegates: 3253
....SuperDelegates: 795
....Overall: 4048
Simple Majority: 2025
Standings
....Obama
........Delegates: 1590.5
........SDs: 275
........Overall: 1865.5
........Needed: 159.5
....Clinton
........Delegates: 1426.5
........SDs: 270.5
........Overall: 1697

....Remainder
........Delegates: 236

....Clinton: 103.49
....Needed SDs

For Clinton to attain a delegate tie, she needs to win 71% in all remaining contests - furiouszebra, on 05/12/2008, -0/+11We still have, y'know, the general election left.
- inactive, on 05/12/2008, -3/+13***** you and your feelings.
- rjwisniewski, on 05/12/2008, -1/+10Being a member of the U.S. Military who is voting for Obama I'd like you to to realize his name is OBAMA not OSAMA. Oh wait, that would take a brain. You're excused.
- Gerz1219, on 05/12/2008, -2/+10Or maybe Hillary kidnapped Arthur Powell's puppy and threatened to kill it.
- Jo9100, on 05/12/2008, -4/+12I can't believe some superdelegates still endorse Hillary at this point...
- scotticus, on 05/12/2008, -2/+8well, the outcome of prior fanboydom (Kucinich, Paul) would suggest otherwise.
Let's hope the 3rd time's the charm. - cjnkns, on 05/12/2008, -3/+9GO-bama!
- Failchan, on 05/12/2008, -5/+10Firstly, "you're" a ***** goddamn idiot. You clearly don't understand that many Digg users support Obama, so why wouldn't there be an influx of pro-Obama and anti-McCain stories on the front page? Go to any pro-McCain website and you'll see anti-Obama articles on their frontpage. Moron.
- Xondar, on 05/12/2008, -0/+5Gotcha. Buried.
(Note: your comment, not the article.) - indiancompanion, on 05/12/2008, -1/+6I cant believe anyone does
- Chiliap2, on 05/12/2008, -2/+9First they say super delegates should follow the people, now their calling them cowards for not choosing someone earlier when the people were less decided.
- EH90, on 05/12/2008, -1/+6Yeah, and then we can start talking about the 2012 election; It'll be great!
- TheGooseyOne, on 05/12/2008, -2/+6Its kinda sad how a very average, maybe below average, SNL cold opener is getting this much praise on digg just because of its anti-Hillaryism.
You guys do realize they are joking right? That they don't fully believe what they are saying and its just for a good laugh?
I'm no Hillary supporter, but if you wanna watch a funny SNL skit, this really isn't it. - tharju, on 05/12/2008, -1/+5that really pisses me off...im not even sure they care about the party this much. at this point I am note even sure Hillary is worse than the those super delgates who are sitting on the fence. somebody should scold at them at this point.
- zspade, on 05/12/2008, -3/+8You call him Osama, and call us sheeple?
- inactive, on 05/12/2008, -1/+5So, you're saying typical white people aren't sophisticated ,classy, or smart?
- SteveIsTheDude, on 05/12/2008, -0/+3Nice video. That guy said "my limo". Yeah, he rents a Limo so he can go around and pick up people and blow them. This guy was probably hired by Carville to say this ***** and your a shill for saying "could be truth" ***** You.
- ballblogs, on 05/12/2008, -5/+8Contribute to his campaign so he can start ramping up against McCain!
- shreyans, on 05/12/2008, -0/+3'Group of people gaming the system'?
If that's what you call 'a group of people digging what they like', then I guess you're right. - cranium, on 05/12/2008, -2/+5That's an all-day job.
- Fordi, on 05/12/2008, -2/+5"I know exactly what digg is and if you did and knew how it works then you would know that there is a group of people "gaming" digg"
Ok. If Digg is not what you want in a social news site, why are you here exactly? - Apokalyps2547, on 05/12/2008, -0/+3I'm an Obama supporter. This is good news, but I think the redundancy of these posts is stupid.
- mal1964, on 05/12/2008, -1/+5Most of the people have made their choice , These weasel followers are not just in the states that haven't voted.
- mal1964, on 05/12/2008, -2/+5In these Obama threads the number of down diggs are the measure of winning an argument
- Fordi, on 05/12/2008, -1/+4They're (for one reason or another) trying not to end the race prematurely.
- EtherGnat, on 05/12/2008, -4/+6"if you did and knew how it works then you would know that there is a group of people "gaming" digg to get obama stories and anti Clinton/McCain stories to the front page."
Proof? There are a LOT more Obama supporters on Digg than there are McCain supporters. For example Obama has over 10x as many "friends" in the "Digg the Candidates" section as McCain does. Do you really think that isn't going to have an impact? - bphicke, on 05/12/2008, -2/+4Some bigoted logic you have there.
- headzoo, on 05/12/2008, -0/+3Judging by mrinstanity's use of phrases "O RLY?!", and "O, Kthxbai!", I'd venture to guess he's 13 years old. So it's safe to dismiss his tinfoil hat opinions.
- Fordi, on 05/12/2008, -0/+3Then she's still behind. As the last line says: 71% in all remaining contests to hold onto her slim chance of winning, and that goes up for each SD gain by Obama.
- Fordi, on 05/12/2008, -0/+2Two-point-four-nine-five hundreds (remaining SD count). Or, if you're just talking about winning the nom, one-point-five-nine-five hundereds.
If you're going to be dismissive, please be exacting as well. - mal1964, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1sheep are sheep lol
- inactive, on 05/12/2008, -1/+2PARADOX
- rdoger6424, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1oh right. Forgot that I couldn't do math.
- PlasmaWhore, on 05/12/2008, -0/+1Did anyone else see "Caturday" instead of "Saturday" for a split second?
- inactive, on 05/12/2008, -0/+1Yes! Pretend like white women don't exist! This will make it all the funnier when the Democrats have a real problem on their hands.
Smooth move, petulantly wanting to keep Clinton from the VP slot. I hope you idiot Democrats do keep them from running together. It will take away certain defeat from McCain. Well done, overplaying your hand, to show how weak you are!
Keep ignoring the white woman at all costs! - Quentusrex, on 05/12/2008, -0/+1It's politics. They all have Obama and others trying to get them to decide one way or another. It's another tool to get their stuff done.
- SemiSarcastic, on 05/12/2008, -0/+1A better deal I suppose...doesn't mean either candidate can or cannot make any now.
- mmccarthy, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1Obama made a great speech in Charleston today on Veterans issues. It's not my submission but I honestly think this one is important enough that it should be dugg up. The MSM have barely covered it.
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Barack_Obama_Kee ... - JoshChan, on 05/12/2008, -4/+5To Hillary: "You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go."
