- wopbobaloobop, on 10/24/2008, -2/+38This will be hilarious if it's true and gets widely reported.
This story, and the "B-carving mutilation attack" story being exposed as a hoax (which seems to be happening) could really seal McCain/Palin's fate in these last days. - feduphoosier, on 10/24/2008, -1/+34If my prayer could be heard... please keep this woman far, far, far away from the White House, forever. God help us. Thank you. Amen.
- BlackQueen40, on 10/24/2008, -0/+26I know I'm praying for her to never be allowed a position of power ever again. I've been reading comments from Alaskan citizens on various sites the last few days and they are hoping she loses the election so she has to come back to Alaska and answer for all these things that a great many of them didn't know about and this story is included in that. The citzens who commented said they are working on a recall petition to throw her out as governor. I certainly hope things work out that way!
- Homerr, on 10/24/2008, -0/+24And here I was completely humored by ONE witch doctor.
- oldugly2, on 10/24/2008, -0/+22He is cooked, his campaign is as bad off as the finacial world its just that he is going fasterand straighter towarda a cliff that is closer to him then it...
Other then that all same same. lol
But that doesn't mean don't vote ya twerp, hear me? VOTE! - zephc, on 10/24/2008, -0/+22If necessary, I will sacrifice 100 cattle to the gods to keep her and McCain both out of the Whitehouse. Luckily for the cattle, this seems less likely by the day.
- anonymouse23, on 10/24/2008, -1/+22Any resemblance between the theology preached by these nutjobs and actual Christianity is entirely coincidental. They are a cult. Even the Assemblies of God church has declared them a heresy.
And anyone they anointed or chose for public office, should be kept as far from public office as we the people can possibly keep them.
I'd say that little island off Alaska where you can see part of Russia in the distance would be almost far enough (but only almost). - bitsculptor, on 10/24/2008, -0/+20I always pictured witch hunters wearing grungy robes with hoods... who knew they actually wear designer gear from Neiman Marcus.
- SolarCat, on 10/24/2008, -0/+20This makes Palin's recent comments about who is an elite in the Brian Williams interview particularly ironic.
"You cannot petition the Lord with prayer."
- Jim Morrison - inactive, on 10/24/2008, -0/+18let's do an experiment: let's throw mccain and palin in the water. if they sink and drown, they're not witches. if they float, we burn 'em at the stake!
worked for the puritans.. - roofview, on 10/24/2008, -1/+18Don't you get it the witch is out of Alaska and traveling the country on the republican ticket.
- BlacklabelSAR, on 10/24/2008, -1/+18You Humans are so amusing.
--- Reptilians - OregonRusalka, on 10/24/2008, -0/+16While I don't for a milli-second believe these people could have caused the death of Mother Teresa, a very elderly woman with a serious illness, it is shocking to me that anyone would actively pray for the death of another person. This is what many Christians would call a "sin of the mind" -- that is, wishing for evil to befall someone is just as much a sin as causing evil. It corrupts our souls most profoundly, and it is no doubt that these people have horribly corrupted souls. For more about the abuse of witchcraft allegations in Africa, check out the book "Economic Gangsters", recently published. It describes how witchcraft accusations are often used as a front for envy and as a means of dispossessing people of their property. In other words, it has an economic base! Most of the people attacked for being witches are elderly and some are even children! That any American would associate themselves with such evil is despicable.
- Ravanya, on 10/24/2008, -0/+16Oh please please PLEASE be true.
- SheilaNoya, on 10/24/2008, -0/+13But, but, but... Sarah Palin is the "new face" of the Republican party!
The GOP is dying from self-inflicted wounds now. They've become the "Holy Trio of Terror":
- Religious Fanatics
- War Profiteers
- Corporate Whores
The Republican party needs to collapse now. That's the only thing that will get them to finally clean house and rid themselves of the religious wackos and the greedy bastards who are destroying America. - mommadona, on 10/24/2008, -0/+11The more this woman and her affiliations with the fundamental dominionist/extremists is exposed, the sooner we will be able to turn this country around and back to an even keel.
Never underestimate the power of martyrdom and "exceptionalism" with these wingnuts.
They yearn for Armageddon.
And they have WAY too much say in this representative government. - jtnld, on 10/24/2008, -0/+11Ode to Wasilla Bible Church
My friend the witch doctor, he told me what to say
My friend the witch doctor, he told me what to do
I know that you'll be mine when I say this to you
Oh Baby!
Ooh eee ooh ahah, ting tang Wasilla, silla bing bang
Ooh, eee, ooh ahah, ting tang, Wasiila bing bang! - Supergliding, on 10/24/2008, -2/+11Ironic... I've been posting that youtube video on Mary Glazier on HuffingtonPost for weeks... and been totally ignored... and ultimately got banned from posting on that site... WHATEVER
HuffPost only seems to be interested in stuff when THEY FIND it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5kLreAmgGE
I don't need to read HuffPost anymore... saves me time. More on Digg than on her lame site anyway :-) - inactive, on 10/24/2008, -3/+8Maybe Palin is an evil witch herself and wants to take over the world by destroying the good witches - OMG SHE's the antichrist!
- inactive, on 10/25/2008, -0/+4Today's New York Times article on the spiritual warrior Pentecostals Palin subscribes to also says that they are taught to seek political power to gain power over demons who they think cluster in certain geographical areas (think Palin's 'real America' versus the rest). This is very, very unnerving.
- Gemfinder, on 10/25/2008, -0/+3Yeah, they did that real good in Salem, 16th Century Spain and England.
- HalleBurton, on 10/24/2008, -0/+3Excellent! I was just about to post the original lyrics by Dave Seville; but yours are better!
- Batfishy, on 10/24/2008, -0/+2Glinda? She wants to hurt Glinda? No...
- MorganMghee, on 10/24/2008, -1/+3Even if they did somehow believe they were witches, wouldn't the Christian thing to do be to try to help them?
- mleh, on 10/24/2008, -0/+2"psycho religious nutjobs" is rather redundant.
- auntazalea, on 10/25/2008, -0/+2OMG- too funny!
- Gemfinder, on 10/25/2008, -0/+2Done, as of this past Monday.
- inactive, on 10/24/2008, -0/+2o noes
- Gemfinder, on 10/25/2008, -0/+1Hey! Hey! She ain't one of us.
She should be in Azkaban. - imcoolwoohoo, on 10/26/2008, -0/+1Nothing about them comes across as Christ-like. Especially praying the death upon a woman who gave her life to help others.. Totally insane.
- Gemfinder, on 10/25/2008, -0/+1[standing up and applauding]
- Theodora12, on 10/25/2008, -0/+1Dugg for link to video!
- datajl, on 10/25/2008, -0/+1AMEN!
- Awesomecat, on 10/24/2008, -0/+1I'd prefer 100 pigs so we can shore up the nation's bacon reserves.
- imcoolwoohoo, on 10/26/2008, -0/+0sounds like HuffPo, they block my comments when I make valid, proper comments for no reason sometimes.. I dont understand why.
- imcoolwoohoo, on 10/26/2008, -0/+0I wouldnt punish the poor people of Little Diomede with Palin and her "witch hunting pray the gay away" cult!
- AnnHedonia, on 10/24/2008, -2/+0We'll just have to trust in God's will.
