I do agree it's irrelevant and completely stupid. Sketchy stories with no named sources that don't meet any journalistic standard. Unfortunately, the rabid Obama supporters will Digg up and support ANY story that is negative, no matter how dubious.
What they fail to realize is that ultimately it will backfire. It keeps the policy issues off the table where Obama is strong and Bush and by extension McCain is very weak.
