- PeteJayhawk, on 12/01/2008, -1/+22Ugh...no offense meant to the writer or submitter, but I really just want Sarah Palin to go away forever.
- InfodivaMLIS, on 12/02/2008, -1/+17Sarah Palin said she gave the clothing back...wink wink!
- vanguardanon, on 12/02/2008, -1/+15It's ok to laugh, she's a joke. (wink)
- kareemachan, on 12/02/2008, -0/+9And once again she's showing her brilliantly keen analytical mind by wearing these things when she's in the limelight and people just might notice...
- chosenson, on 12/03/2008, -0/+9She needs to give them back or pay for them, or declare them as income. Didn't ex-Senator Stevens earn 7 felony counts for taking stuff and not declaring gifts?
- samimnot, on 12/02/2008, -1/+9I remember Gov. Palin not giving these cloths back, until the RNC sent a Lawyer to Alaska to retrieve them. If they had Sarah sign a release, stating that she has returned everything (including what she bought for her family) it would be in the RNC records ;-) Might make for some interesting research...
- Sogladtobehere, on 12/02/2008, -0/+8But then she can't be the 'savior' of the Republican party (their 21st century Jesus if you will). America needs Sarah (as duckley said, to purge the moderates from the republican ranks).
- Berkana, on 12/02/2008, -0/+7She has no intention to go away, so it's best to expose her dishonesty and greed.
- scottknick, on 12/03/2008, -0/+6That's because she's still campaigning. She brought the trogs to the polls for Chambliss.
- franklymister, on 12/02/2008, -0/+6Who said "destroy the republican party?"
Most of us would just like to get rid of right-wing wackos and see the old fiscal conservative Republicans come back. - jackieblu, on 12/03/2008, -0/+3 The GOP as we have known it is in for a difficult transition, or will be destroyed forever, exhibited by the fact that they are eating their own, and throwing the rest under the proverbial bus. Lets see what kind of party arises from the ashes. Furthermore, we didn't destroy their party, they managed to do that all by themselves, we can however, be amused and shouldn't be faulted for that!
- swordedge, on 12/03/2008, -1/+4the guy that posted the story... "And also our best hope to destroy the Republican Party forever."
- inactive, on 12/03/2008, -1/+3@swordedge - out with the old, in with the new. A better second party will emerge.
- Echota, on 01/05/2009, -0/+2Lyin',stealin,badmouth hussy!
- jackieblu, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2Sara Palin please send the cloths to me immediately- jackieblu C/O digg. What was all that ***** the cloths were in the belly of the plane- etc, etc... I'm shocked, a member of the GOP that lies, and one from Alaska- no less!
- merelywatching, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2I don't think that any of us can expect to see this woman do the right thing. This behavior just further proves that Palin is just another vain, self important, greedy and ignorant person who believes she is more entitled than anyone else - typical republican persona!
The facts are the facts: While there have been many corrupt Democratic leaders, at the end of the day the majority of greedy, corrupt and deceitful politicians have been, and still are affiliated with the Republican party - and they have caused the most harm to the prosperity and security of our country and it's citizens.
I cringe every time I hear a Republican politician using the name of Jesus or God to sell themselves to the public, when it is obvious that they have sold their souls to Satan for fame and fortune and power.... - uncajoe, on 12/03/2008, -0/+2It's an Alaskan GOP tradition!
- cg4et, on 12/04/2008, -0/+1to be fair, I am not sure there is any evidence she has a bad mouth.
- marcian65, on 12/07/2008, -0/+0One look at the required document the RNC filed with the Federal Election Commission shows that all of the clothes were purchased in the month of September. So how could Palin have been wearing anything from the RNC wardrobe on August 31? That outfit is obviously one of her own, acquired before she became John McCain's running mate.
Someone must have given Strzemien a little clue after she posted her hit piece, because she went into CYA mode and posted an update, asking her readers, "So was Palin valiantly recycling old clothes or defiantly wearing items from her $150,000 wardrobe? You be the judge."

- swordedge, on 12/02/2008, -6/+4Destroy the republican party forever? Are you NUTS. We do NOT EVER want a one party country. NEVER EVER. I am also very against one party holding a filibuster proof majority in the senate. The last time that happened, Carter was president and the two of them ruined the economy (unemployment over 10% and a prime rate of something like 18% during his administration.)
It is imperative that the majority party be listen to opposing view points and that will never happen if there is only 1 party.
PS, it wasn't all that long ago that the dems were the reeling party. - 6oo63D, on 12/02/2008, -4/+0Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance. PSY101
