Her administration may have ended their plans for the bridge, but she KEPT THE MONEY. - ScienceDoc, on 09/04/2008, -22/+78The Republiclowns are master liars. They call the democrats tax and spend. The Republiclowns lower taxes for the rich and bankrupt the Country. She is another neocon fraud just like McSame. Both completely invented politicians.

....This is the point where I got tired of copying and pasting. - inactive, on 09/04/2008, -12/+48If ANYONE is paying attention to this and still saying that 'Obama nuts are just scared of her!', then you might have a lower IQ than a monkey. I don't think you realize that we, as a nation, don't need this type of lying and deception just so the people on top can get richer and stab the american people in the back after they manipulate the system.
Anyway, enough seriousness for now, check out this impression of Sarah Palin. I saw it on CNN and found it on YouTube, pretty good stuff. Not a rick roll. ha.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioGC40_AWhs - browntiger, on 09/04/2008, -13/+35She is a maverick of lying just like McCain
- Pake, on 09/04/2008, -7/+27Who wants to bet we'll see this as "possibly inaccurate" before Midnight EST? Makes me wish we could log all the people who are declaring everything anti-Palin (or anti-Obama) and see if the majority are part of the campaigning groups, because the past few days it's been completely ridiculous how many articles concerning primarily Palin have been listed as inaccurate, even when MSM networks are doing the reporting.
- wedges, on 09/04/2008, -3/+20expecting McCain campaign interns in 3...2...1....
- Wakkyweed, on 09/04/2008, -3/+18If you take the 27 million that she lobbied for and divide it by the number of people living in Wasilla, you get almost $5,000 of federal pork for each citizen. Glad to know that the Republicans chose someone with such a refreshingly new take on pork-barrel politics.
- bigstinky, on 09/04/2008, -4/+18My question to the right...Or anyone for that matter.
Why, last night did she make such a spectacle of her kids, when her family was supposed to be off limits?
As well, why did she not care to help special needs kids and unwed teen moms...until she inherited those very situations?
Hypocrites, all de doo da day. People on the right, how can you live with yourselves? - cheezintern, on 09/04/2008, -0/+13That's a sweet idea. Maybe I can keep all my grant and tuition assistance money and skip grad school.
- N3tw0rk, on 09/04/2008, -2/+15Just this year, Palin sent to Sen. Ted. Stevens a proposal for 31 earmarks totaling $197 million — more, per person, than any other state.
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/ ... - inactive, on 09/04/2008, -6/+18It doesn't matter.
All Republicans have to do is repeat the lie enough times and the American people will believe it.
Cue the words: Tax and spend liberals. Cut pork barrel spending. - inactive, on 09/04/2008, -13/+25The right is pretty dumb to think that this woman in any way helps their ticket. She lost them the election, guaranteed. From questions of ethics, to flat out lying to the people, to not even able to push her agenda at her own home....this is not what we need for the USA
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -5/+17"Earmark Queen of the Earmark State"
Not exactly melodious, but ok.
I think "Dick Cheney with lipstick" might stick. - jswalk195, on 09/04/2008, -4/+15Wait a Palin post that hasn't been reported as possibly inaccurate yet. I guess the McCain bury crew is on a break.
- chourobin, on 09/04/2008, -7/+16It seems Obama is being too defensive in regards to Palin's accusations from last night. It is time we discredit the job Palin did as Governor, because the only reason the state is enjoying a budget surplus is because of the rise in price of oil, and that the city she ran as mayor was left with 22 million dollars in debt. That is all Obama has to say, and her incompetence will quickly override the issue of her experience.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -2/+11no, a limerick would be:
there once was a man named obama
which happens to rhyme with osama
"coincidence?" they'd say
and repeat this all day:
he's a terrorist and he going to bomb ya - aaronirwin31, on 09/04/2008, -4/+13This will not even make a dent in the republican mind. They have that gene; you know, the one that allows them to ignore large pink elephants standing in the middle of the room.
- SSPink, on 09/04/2008, -2/+10facts and figures are always "possibly inaccurate" when they disagree with what the GOP talking points.
GOP talking points are more accurate than facts. - TinternAbbot, on 09/04/2008, -3/+11Yeah the earmark thing will come back to haunt her. She should never have even mentioned the Bridge to Nowhere, especially because she actually does have a good record of reform in Alaska. She's on record saying specifically that the Bridge was being canceled because they couldn't secure the federal funding...kind of dumb of her to change the story now.
- N3tw0rk, on 09/04/2008, -0/+8Just this year, Palin sent to Sen. Ted. Stevens a proposal for 31 earmarks totaling $197 million — more, per person, than any other state.
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/ ... - inactive, on 09/04/2008, -1/+8Obama didn't claim to be against ear marks.
- homercles337, on 09/04/2008, -0/+7I think they do it by closing their eyes, sticking their fingers in their ears, and humming. The right has no scruples, none.
- homercles337, on 09/04/2008, -0/+7Rather than blathering ***** take it to the source. They are all listed there.
- omegared, on 09/04/2008, -1/+7it is funny to see the right squirm and avoid any question. Their only answers ever seems to be what about Obama, but Obama did that... And than they totally go off topic.
How about they stay on topic and answer the question. - inactive, on 09/04/2008, -2/+81) Ad hominem attacks are for little pussy bitches. If you don't like the article, bash the substance, not the source. *****.
2) Then just ***** skip it. The inaccurate button is for *gasp* inaccurate stories. *****. - inactive, on 09/04/2008, -2/+8Calm dawn, warcheif.
It's only been a week. Come back in two in lets talk. She's a nobody candidate, from a nowhere state, with lots and lots of problems. And media coverage has been pretttty negative so far.
I've already started hearing lots of my true blue republican neighbors getting pissed at the campaign. Just watch. Crash and burn....
oh and btw. What the hell...that stadium was pretty empty.
did they say they could only convince 18,000 to attend?
Obama had 85,000 and thousands more that couldn't fit so couldn't attend.
Not to mention that the Olympics had the highest ratings of anything on TV ever...
That is Till the Man took the stage. - Deanblackoak, on 09/04/2008, -1/+7It's not a non-issue because she and the McCain campaign say they are against them. They are liars, that is relevant.
- dissolutionman, on 09/04/2008, -1/+7So that makes it all OK, right? It's really too bad that that was FEDERAL MONEY. Most of that money came from the rest of us.
It was a terrible excess. And if she was really so goddamn righteous, she'd give it right the ***** back.
Now THAT is truth, asswipe. Don't even try to pin that conspiracy ***** on me. - inactive, on 09/04/2008, -8/+14Why do Republicans Hate America?
- sfgamergirl, on 09/04/2008, -1/+6They don't hate America, they just hate half of the people living in it.
- Taiyoryu, on 09/04/2008, -4/+9Makes me wonder how many of those innacurate buries are possibly inaccurate
- beevbo, on 09/04/2008, -1/+6I'm curious why they're comparing 2008 national averages to the per capita value of Wasilla in 2002? A more accurate comparison would be to show all values from the same time frame, no?
- melfster, on 09/04/2008, -3/+8If I live in Alaska I was getting $4000 dollars from Gov Palin I would be happy too. Alaska is the land full of corrupt Politicians and Palin is no different.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -1/+6ha number one its a joke. and number two...i am what I eat. I cant help it....
Tell your mom I said hello. - southeastbeast, on 09/04/2008, -5/+10Bridge + earmarks + lies = Palin. Don't forget the fact that they will probably force the poor kid to marry her to keep up the whole facade.
- Plughie, on 09/04/2008, -0/+5Spell "loser" right, loser.
- funkyloki, on 09/04/2008, -0/+5The debt she left wouldn't have been so bad if it had been for something like infrastructure, such as a badly needed sewage treatment plant, something the town of Wasilla wanted. But the debt is actually for a sports-complex that hasn't even been completed because the land has been locked up in a legal battle for seven years. Now that's just *****' ridiculous.
- homercles337, on 09/04/2008, -1/+6Lie. He has funneled $10 million to U Arizona and $14.3 million to Luke Air Force Base. And that just what i could find with a quick google. Take your lies and shove them up your hypocritical ass.
- moxley, on 09/04/2008, -1/+5Yeah, and our current president holds their hands and blows them.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -3/+7She was city council and mayor of Wasilla from 1992-2002.
Back to drawing with crayons for you. - funkyloki, on 09/04/2008, -0/+4Way to stereotype there *****.
- JoeVet, on 09/04/2008, -1/+5Wow another republican who thinks education is a bad thing. If you had actually learned from some of those professors you'd be able to add and multiply and you'd know that the Republicans have increased government size and increased taxes and increased the national debt far more than the democrats. But don't you worry, Rove and the rest of the extremist neotards will continue to promise smaller government and lower taxes so you don't have to actually add yourself. So go back to your double wide and drink your bud. The billionaires of the GOP will surely make sure that no government money is spent on the public good.
- bobfoster, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4Where is the inaccuracy? Except for the gratuitous "earmark queen" comment at the end, this is all public record.
- SatoriSeeker, on 09/04/2008, -1/+5Uh, I see nothing but "Huff/Kos/XYZ spam, BURIED!" from the angry right lately.
Can't users be banned for stating they bury things as innacurrate based on the website rather than the story itself? Aren't they outright admitting they are gaming the bury system? I'd suggest digging down and reporting all their comments, maybe if enough people report the angry right wing bury brigade then they will lose their accounts or be forced to actually STFU with their lame buried messages. - bemenaker, on 09/05/2008, -1/+4Let's see Palin has taken the wind out of the Dem's sails? Since Palin's speech, Repub's raised 1million dollars. Since HER speech, the Dem's have raised 8million dollars. That's lot of wind.
- Pake, on 09/04/2008, -1/+41) I've done that as well, but I bury it for being lame and avoiding the inaccurate part unless I know for a fact it's inaccurate.
2) Considering the game of politics, I'd recommend turning off the 2008 US Elections part in your settings if you want to avoid those on the front page. - Taiyoryu, on 09/04/2008, -1/+4@TinternAbbot
People tuned-in to hear Palin's speech because they were hoping to get some insight into her political stances on the issues. Instead we got the same mini-bio we got last Friday, inaccurate political attacks if not outright lies, praise for McCain, and the same old rhetoric we got from Bush (which is no surprise since it's no secret that a Bush writer wrote the speech). I was actually amazed one of the CNN talking heads called her out on two of those inaccurate attacks, and then I was sadly disappointed he stopped at two. For a moment, I thought the MSM was actually going to do some actual in-depth analysis and move past the fluff like Piper patting her brother's hair down. I expect that to be covered in the morning news not in a post-speech analysis.
I also beg to differ. Much of the blogosphere isn't just focused on Trig even if that was where they started. I think the number of digg articles making the front page should indicate that. I'll concede that Palin had the intended effect of energizing the Republican base, but I don't think the wind was knocked out of the Democrats' sails. Moving the spotlight away isn't the same as taking the wind out. - wedges, on 09/04/2008, -0/+3hence their logo.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -0/+3The point is obviously just beyond your grasp
