Well, you can't cover it up anymore. Obama's links to the Weather Underground are weak at best, but Palin's ties to Alaska Independence Party are much stronger, her husband was a member and she's attended their conventions and helped make promo videos.
She wants to bring up this stuff and start throwing some stones in Obama's past. McCain and Palin have boulders in theirs (AIP, Troopergate, Keating 5, US Council for World Freedom) These two clearly don't put "country first" but themselves.
