STOP WITH THE RON PAUL ARTICLES
slowyourroll.com — Ok we get it, Ron Paul is the coolest guy ever. He knows more than anyone else and he's not given a fair shake by anyone. Let's move on. Nothing to see here.

i don't mind, and occasionally enjoy, his writings on lew rockwell, and the debate footage was news worthy stuff, but the flood must stop.
if there's no news, don't submit it.- shirini, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4I really wonder if their paying people to just submit tons of these stupid articles to the site.
- clownguyx, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4You don't have to pay people to get them to submit stupid ***** to Digg.
I support Ron Paul and love reading news about him, but canewediggit is right on about the numerous mindless stories being submitted. - jjgaff, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3I couldn't agree more.
I'm completely behind Ron Paul's candidacy and I digg appropriate and newsworthy articles, blog posts, and some videos – once. One time. And I've also buried duplicate articles when I've noticed them.
I think some supporters have either gotten out of hand, or at the very least been breaching the netiquette of the digg community by posting or re-posting any mention of RP. Unfortunately, that does much more to hurt the cause than help it.
I was extremely frustrated by the MSM's coverage of RP, like many supporters, and was excited to see the access provided on sites like Digg and Technorati when we were effectively blown off by ABC News, Yahoo! and the like. I think if we're to be taken seriously, however, we need to participate responsibly within these communities. That includes not posting to B.S. puff-pieces and tribute videos. It also means burying the duplicate articles. How many times do we need the link to the same Bill Maher video from Friday? How many times until it becomes irrelevant?
My understanding of Digg is that the focus is news - not promotions! If we stick to that, and don't duplicate the same articles over and over (thus, diluting them) we can effectively bring attention to RP in a way the respects the digg community and the purpose of the site. If we don't, then we justify the accusations of those who call us "spammers". What I admire about RP is his stand for personal responsibility – as his supporters, we should exercise that. Hell, we should exemplify that.
- shout, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3This URL is nothing, but it's still better than the stupid spam we've been hit with on this site. I can't even filter it out well enough to not see it.
- ichbinladen, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4You dare defy RON PAUL!? The wrath of Digg is upon you!
- SaintMatthew, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2Yeah, stop posting articles about technology too. Enough already!!! Oh wait, maybe I can just ignore them and read articles that interest me....F-ing brillant.
- shout, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2People are posting Ron Paul articles in the wrong sections and they're making it to front page so how do you filter that?
