- BalsamLane, on 11/02/2008, -38/+368I have to admit, it was nice to see McCain acting...human. I thank him for his service, there is no doubt he loves America.
With that said, it is time for a change of direction. Obama '08 - MischiefGirl, on 11/02/2008, -8/+290Have to say, I was impressed with that skit. I actually found it hilarious. McCain looked like he was having a good time and like he was struggling not to laugh in the middle of it. As someone above said, you could see a bit of the old McCain tonight.
I really wish he had chosen to run his campaign differently. But again, it's our choices that make us who we are.
I made my choice and sent in my absentee ballot for Obama/Biden! - lockesgame, on 11/02/2008, -7/+245 Sometimes I see little glimpses of what made me like John McCain back in 2000. It's my sincerest hope that after this election is over John McCain can find himself again and be his own man like he was in 2000. Not a slave to the Neo-Cons as he has been. I see a better man in him than he has shown during this election. Maybe someday we'll get to see that again.

- HartgE46, on 11/02/2008, -3/+187I'm a true maverick, a Republican without money...
good line. - GregFD3S, on 11/02/2008, -5/+176Tina Fey is hot.
- inactive, on 11/02/2008, -9/+136Even Better
http://i35.tinypic.com/dztob9.jpg - nubnub99, on 11/02/2008, -14/+128They had to choose Fey because Palin couldn't remember the lines.
- EustaceTilley, on 11/02/2008, -1/+90I have always enjoyed him on SNL, he really does seem like he likes being there too (always has a big smile)
- Adam420, on 11/02/2008, -10/+98So, SNL wont be good anymore because the election will be over.
- thetanbark, on 11/02/2008, -2/+80Wait... a .jpg that's capable of animation?
- nosecohn, on 11/02/2008, -2/+79That was actually really good.
- inactive, on 11/02/2008, -0/+76He was a good sport.
- jjamminjon, on 11/02/2008, -1/+58I understand not endorsing the guy on his bid for the presidency, but you need to get off the haterade and put things into perspective, it was an enjoyable skit.
- Canadaa, on 11/02/2008, -0/+54I liked the starbucks thing at the beginning, voting = free coffee - now that's American
- seltaeb4, on 11/02/2008, -2/+55Playing along in a skit featuring "Palin in 2012" t-shirts? McCain knows he's lost.
- inactive, on 11/03/2008, -0/+53No, you really don't.
- Chooxo, on 11/02/2008, -1/+49If only you could vote AT Starbucks.
- Luizzle, on 11/03/2008, -0/+44What kind of sorcery is this!?
- 2point71, on 11/02/2008, -8/+51TINA FEY 2012!
TINA FEY 2012!
TINA FEY 2012!
TINA FEY 2012!
TINA FEY 2012! - cadmiumpaint, on 11/02/2008, -4/+46McCain is kinda likeable when he's not being a complete douche spreading lies and fear and making an ass of himself on a daily basis running for president.

/ - kingd0m, on 11/02/2008, -5/+35I wish British Politics was like this!!!
- atgmac, on 11/02/2008, -10/+38He really can't lift his arms above waist height though.
- LegomanArt, on 11/02/2008, -4/+32Some people just have too much time.
- 15thPD, on 11/02/2008, -0/+28It was also clear he was struggling not to laugh through most of the skit, so at least he has a sense of humor.
- mrthebunny, on 11/02/2008, -0/+25OMG! The binary content does not match the file extension! how is that possible??
(guys, it's really a gif file, check the file's properties) :-) - acegi, on 11/02/2008, -2/+27mccain comes from far more progressive root. good to see him as old himself (...or younger himself)
too bad he's changed his position so far to the right he's spinning in one place... - inactive, on 11/03/2008, -1/+25wat?
- jonglebeats, on 11/02/2008, -4/+28Hey... I thought Obama was suppose to be the celebrity!
This was funny though, like someone said before if Bush was like this, and didn't do a lot of crappy stuff, he'd be awesome (like when he posed with troops). - aforsberg, on 11/02/2008, -1/+25Asshat. It was awesome, and I'm really proud of him for doing that. You need to learn to just lay off the hating and learn to laugh.
- Rikushix, on 11/02/2008, -1/+24I'm impressed with McCain. I know I'll get dugg down for this but even if I can't stand the neo-cons and the Republican party I think that McCain has at least some inner resolve that is just tainted by said neo-cons and his terrible foreign policy stance.
How I wish we could go back to fiscal conservatism. - akchrs, on 11/02/2008, -18/+40The Olbermann skit was dead on too. And I bet he's pissed about it.
- ebolaworld, on 11/02/2008, -1/+21He probably loved it, as I'm sure he can laugh at himself. He talked about it on his show Friday.
- virtualball, on 11/03/2008, -0/+19It's a trick, it's labeled as a .jpg.gif
- SRSco, on 11/02/2008, -2/+21When I watch McCain make fun of himself here and at the Al Smith Dinner a few weeks ago, I remember why I used to kind of like him. Too bad for Republicans that THAT McCain decided not to campaign this election. Instead us Democrats lucked out with weird, evil McCain instead.
- Donwangugi, on 11/02/2008, -0/+17I think they should try, more often, to get people on the show to make fun of themselves.
- Stormwern, on 11/02/2008, -3/+20He'll take it as a compliment, almost nine minutes all devoted to him, longest sketch of the show.
- Slayerdude51982, on 11/03/2008, -0/+16I may not like the man and what he's been doing this election year, but damn that was good.
- pfranz, on 11/03/2008, -0/+16that's the worst ascii art ive ever seen.
- arcooke, on 11/03/2008, -1/+16A joke?
- SRSco, on 11/02/2008, -1/+16Olbermann crashed the set and watched it go on. He's a fan.
http://www.politico.com/blogs/michaelcalderone/100 ... - Cloud7654, on 11/02/2008, -0/+14http://www.hulu.com/watch/42024/saturday-night-liv ...
The Olbermann skit on Hulu if you care to watch it. - PhantomRogue, on 11/02/2008, -2/+16Is that Fey being Palin, or Palin being Fey?!
- GregFD3S, on 11/02/2008, -1/+15Thank you.
- chickenpelf, on 11/02/2008, -4/+18I think that was a good appearance by McCain. He was funny, self-deprecating, and yet he found time to give his spiel about what he wants to do if elected. It was certainly better than Palin's appearance on SNL. She did nothing but look like a giant tool on national television. Plus she wasn't funny. If anything, her appearance HURT her campaign.
PS-- Obama 2008! Everyone go vote on Tuesday! - Soave, on 11/02/2008, -0/+13It's funny and sad that that's actually a bigger incentive to some people than having a say in our country.
- AdamLytle, on 11/02/2008, -3/+16After this I could almost vote for him, almost
- GoldenChaos, on 11/03/2008, -0/+12I gotta hand it to McCain, he's ***** hilarious on TV. I watched a bunch of his skits... the guy is a great sport, just amazing. It's nice to see him that way. He's not getting my vote, but I can't see Obama on TV making fun of himself the way McCain did. If there's one thing McCain can do better, this is it.
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -0/+12Olbermann laughs at himself alot... He probably loved it.
I was laughing so hard at the part where Ben Affleck does a full 360 in his chair I couldn't breathe. -
